Jaz lying on the bed, feet swinging in the air and hands under her chin, while she has a goofy grin on her face. Jyoti walks in and goes to the vanity to fix her hair. 😳
Jyo: Oye! Let's go or we'll be late for the movie. 😊
Jyoti notices Jaz isnt paying attention. When she goes around she sees Jaz smirking. 😉
Jyo: Why are you smiling like a besharam? Kya hua? 😕
Jaz: Haye! ☺️
Jyo: What "haye"? Kya hua? Lets go yaar, we're going to be late. And if we're late we will miss the previews and you know i love the previews! 😛
Jaz: Oh Jyo! Reel life romance choddo aur REAL life romance ke bare mein soocho. ☺️
Jyo: What? What are you talking about? 😕
Jaz: Jyo, just think...its the Summer...what is summer all about?
Jyo: Heat...ice cream...beach...fun...vacation...full on masti time!! 😃
Jaz: Uff! No...summer is about romance... 😳
Jyo: What!? No its not!! 😲
Jaz gets up from the bed and begins prancing around the room absolutely giddy with joy and a glazed look in her eyes. 😍
Jaz: Summer is about love...romance...dates...hugs...kisses...and...😉
Jyo: Baas baas! Don't you dare go any further! 🤢
Jaz winks at her. 😉
Jaz: Havent you heard about the Summer of Love? 😍
Jyo: No...unlike you i dont have time to waste on such fizool baatein...besides...Summer loves never last...its just a quick hook up while school is out...once Fall comes the relationship is over!! Thats why they call it "summer flings".
Jaz: Uff! Have you no sense of romance?
Jyo: No! I have common sense unlike YOU! 😛
Jaz: Haw! 😲
Just then, Ishan walks in placing his stunner shades on top of his head. 😎
Ishan: You girls ready for the movie? Lets go...i want to get snacks. If i have to watch this chick-flick with you i might as well enjoy it.
Jyo: Challo...I'm ready. 😃
Jyo quickly grabs a sweater from Jaz's closet in case it gets cold at night.
Ishan: Jyo yaar...you wont need a sweater...bahar bohot garmi hai...this summer its all about the heat
Jaz turns and frowns at Ishan. 😡
Jaz: Not you too! Summer is about love... 😃
Jaz has glazed over eyes again. 😍
Ishan: What is this pagal ladki talking about? 😕
Jyoti just rolls her eyes.
Jaz: Im talking about the Summer of Love...about romance...dating... 😳
Ishan: Oh no, i'm not staying for one of her romance rants...main toh chala.
Ishan quickly heads out the door, leaving Jyoti to call behind him.
Jyo: Oye rook!! Dont leave me here with Ms. Sappy Princess!
With the two of them gone, Jaz falls back on her bead and begins to day dream once again. 😍

Hello Geetians!! 😃
Whats up people? Well you read right...after a while we are having a contest. With the forum being home to some very talented writers, we thought why not have a contest. And what better theme to use than Summer since no matter where you are in the world...Summer is Summer!! 😉...and there is something to be said about Summer Romance...after all many good books/movies are based on this concept alone...Nicholas Sparks anyone? 😆
so...here we go...
1) Story CANNOT be more than 2500 words. Anything over 2500 words will be disqualified. USE WORD COUNT!
2) Mandatory Characters include: Maan, Geet, Dadi, Pinky and Adi (any one after that is totally up to you)
3) The following phrases/words MUST be used. That means all of the phrases/words listed below must be in EVERY story. BOLD those phrases/words. Any entry not containing the following will be disqualified.
a. summer
b. love
c. thunder storm
d. chup, bilkul chup
e. eternity
f. affection
d. kindness
g. Mishti
h. Dusht Dhanav
i. roses
j. heart
k. promise
l. destiny
4) Make sure the work you are turning in is your OWN WORK and that of someone elses. Any entries that are plagiarized will be disqualified IMMEDIATELY.
5) Any OS that has already been posted on this forum CANNOT be used as an entry.
6) Each member can submit a MAX of 2 entries only.
7) Do not put anything in the story that identifies the writer because voting has to be anonymous.
*8) Be very careful when you write intimate scenes (if any). Anything vulgar or explicit will not be entered into the contest. Be tasteful, not tacky.
