I would ask Maan's deewanis (Nammu and Reva) to strictly stay away from this comment. It has nothing to do with or against Maan. It has to do with one of the characters which seem to grab my attention. Dev.
In the previous comment I solely didn't want a triangle between them, as that would only complicate the relation between the brothers. I don't want the thin thread between them snap but now as it seems heartbreak is inevitable. For someone. And it more seems like the victim would be Dev. But somewhere I am positive, because may be the pain would be worth it, maybe this would help in his transformation.
I was never against Dev. This Dev in fact intrigues me a lot. With a superhuman brother, who grabs the attention of everyone, who is good at everything, isn't it normal to want to have the same attention? Though he employed his charms to grab the attention, well that's what he was gifted with, and that's what he believes he is only good at. See these lines

Dev "You think I am insanely good looking?"

Geet "And rich."

Dev "Ya I know but which part you like more."

His last line only showed a hint of his yearning to be liked. He already knew Geet was not like other girls, who'd go out with him only for his money, so in that case he knew her value already. This also shows that he indeed knew that why girls are interested in him, but the truth that Maan puts it bare in front of him that everyone is beyond his money not him, might have hurt his ego. This is purely my assumption but that's how I see. A person like Dev would not like to be told, not by his brother at least, and he might have stuck to his ways. Here, Maan's way of handling him also plays part. Right, he always took side of Annie, good, he was his little sister but yelling never makes a relation better. I don't expect Maan to sit with a peace mind and give Dev pravachans. But the least he could have done was to understand Dev, try and talk with him, as a big brother, show that he would be there. And anyway wasn't Annie Dev's sister too? Some brothers would love to tease their sisters but at times in need, they would be the first ones to stand up against anything for their sisters. That is the beauty of relationships. And of course saying this I clear that I don't blame Maan. He was crushed by many responsibilities and many blows at such young age, we could not expect him to be good at everything. He is a human after all. This is the beauty of this FF. Every character of this FF do mistakes, they are pawns in the game. And gladly no one is like Tulsi mayya of Kekta shows. (This line is adopted from the great Reva BTW 😆)

You know when Dev said his view about the paintings, especially Meera's I was surprised. Though he was surrounded by girls every time, he must be craving for some true love. There is no mistake of his in that. From his side, he does deserve it. That doesn't mean I am in favor of Dev-Geet. No. Geet and Maan share a bond beyond employer and employee and their rapport is mutual and strong and hence I wouldn't wish for Dev to end up with Geet. But Nayanatara doesn't deserve Dev too. Dev would deserve a much better person. Someone who would love him for what he is, not for his tags.Surprised? Don't be. I know a person like Dev. Not a flirt though. But a charmer, who befriends everyone and who is more like Dev. But no matter how many hundreds of friends he has, I also saw him suffer alone when he was in his tough times, having no one to share. Watching someone like that so close, I kind of understood Dev better I think.

Also, I want to put something here. This is for Reva. When Maan had handed over Geet to Dev, do you really think Maan didn't foresee the probability of Dev falling for Geet? A shrewd business man like Maan, who would foresee the possibilities of any project, any design, the problems, can't he foresee this simple thing? I don't think so. I am sure he would have. Well yes however a theory is always different from practical experience, and since I could understand what he might have gone through.

Anyway, putting an end to this ramblings, I just say that I would love to see the progress of the story. This fic always has been a great entertainment Sheesh. Thank you very much for this.

dev's facade of a playboy cannot fool many...it is just that he has always been dominated by maan, who has happened to grow up early and take responsibilities...and then dadi and annie too have adored maan, although dadi loves and pampers dev, but dev must have missed that adoration and the pride that his family had easily bestowed on maan...

maan is not a man of words...and thats where he fails when he comes handling dev...he is someone who expects to be followed...as much as he is good in understanding human psychology and getting ppl do what he wants, he cannot strike that easy rapport and comfort level with a person just through convos...

his diversion into business had alienated {atleast at emotional level) from his family, since we see that he has his family but, they cant see what he undergoes...and the family support (emotional support or better word would be moral support) that he may need is lacking...dadi with her age related issues, annie who is childish...and dev with his playboy ways...i dont blame dev at all...coz like maan, he too is longing for the love, and expects ppl to love him for what he is, and not judge him by his lifestyle...G cud become a friend who cud guide him to a direction...where he could make something of himself...

maan and de have missed out on that sibling rapport...and now it seems to late build up that rapport without feeling awkward...thats where G may come into picture to thaw the ice between them , making D realise how he needs to buck up and do something productive...and maan in changing his approach towards D


maan must have seen the possibility of D falling for G, but he is trying to guage the reaction of G, since MUs started between M and G, post dev entry...
no matter how astute businessman he may be, with fantastic business acumen and ability to read ppl, not everything goes as planned...who wud have thought G might have taken D for her swimming lessons😆...and he just must have felt that its only him who is able to appreciate G and here we see V and D standing in queue to talk to her😆
