nice update!! pacifying Geet wasn't a cake walk for Maan before & she had made it all the more difficult for him but guess she deserves a big time manaofying after all wot she had gone thru !!

Woah!!!! so many things happened.
Maan's revelations were truly shocking but I liked every bit.
Now,Geet is all set to ignore him.I just wonder why Maan didnt give the other person's name behind all this.It could have kept Geet on alert.hmmm..

Geet handa is back and she has her own conditions before she proceeds with the relationship...thanks for taking this step in the story...it was amazing and totally apt for Geet to take this stand...am so glad that she decided to tell him how much anguish he has caused them and a simple request for forgiveness doesnt wipe away all the hurt...

The elders have reason enough to be angry...and Maan's reasonings to them and Geet were hardly enough to actually justify his silence of so many days...

After sometime, mohinder decided to leave with geet and rano, when maan stopped him...uh, mohinder uncle could you please wait for sometime. I need to talk to you...!!

Sure, geet, rano...you both go ahead, I'll come in a while...they nodded and left while geet kept glancing at maan sensing he looked worried. Maan asked raj also to accompany them to the study as he needed him there too. They entered the study and closed the door.

Next day brought a new light in the life of many people, mostly the khurana's and handa's. The elders particularly the ladies got down to decide a new date for their children' marriage, while the men get back to their work.

The first thing raj did after reaching office was to ask the HR dept. to type a termination letter for alisha clearly stating the reason, which spread like wild fire throughout the office. Though he wanted to file a case against alisha for conspiring to malign his son's name, but he knew what it could have caused alisha. So they settled on just firing her. The gossipers got a new thing to gossip, but few were disgusted at such act by a girl. But all in all maan's name was finally cleared of all the dirt and KC got back to normal.

But something big was going on in maan's mind and to execute his plan, he immediately dialed some number in the intercom and called her in his cabin...

Yes sir...she asked coming in.

Sneha, how many projects are we handling now...??...he asked straight away.

Ji...there are 5 major projects running under KC main branch Delhi, while 6...

Thats enough...he interrupted in the mid...I want a detail report on all of them by today evening and ask adi to come with mehra's project file along with the account details...!!

Okay sir...she replied and left the cabin. After some time adi entered with the file and took his seat opposite to maan...

Here is the file maan, but why did you asked all of a sudden...??...adi was confused at maan's sudden interest in mehra's file...do you need a replacement for alisha...??...he asked a bit hesitatingly.

Um-hm...I need to tell you something adi and I want you to listen to me very carefully. Last night I talked to dad and mohinder uncle and informed them about everything and now, I want you to know this...

Maan, what is it...??

Maan looked at adi and started narrating everything. Adi was shocked at the revelations...

What...??...sandy...??...are you sure...??...maan nodded...but why would he try to do something like this...??...I know he is alisha's cousin, but plotting something like this...!!...what would have he gained from all this...??

Maan curled his fist in order to control his anger and replied through gritted teeth...geet...!!

Adi's eyes widened hearing geet's name...What...??

Yes adi, he wanted to separate geet and me and helping alisha gave him an easy way as she herself was ready to malign her image...!!

But this is absurd...and how did you came to know about this...??

When I send dev to the hotel, he met the waiter who brought the champagne for us...maan started and continued...I had already informed dev about him, so he easily spot him and brought him to me. When I enquired him about alisha's involvement, he told me that some man asked him to mix something in the chicken dish...he paused for a moment...alisha had told me that she doesn't eat non-veg on thursday, so only I had it. Later when we had the drink, I passed out, which was due to the food and not champagne. At that time I was not sure about alisha as she sounded genuine. So, I decided to find out about that man...!!

Adi looked at him with great concentration as he recited everything...

I tried a lot, but couldn't find him until a day before my so called engagement with alisha, when I saw sandy here at KC. He had come to meet geet...adi gave him a confused look to which maan explained clearly...he had asked mohinder uncle for geet's hand in marriage after I broke up with her...!!

Oh god...!!

Yes, that bas***d himself told me about this...maan recalled how he had grabbed geet's waist and declared about their relationship...I was furious then and so it didn't click me at that time. But later next day, when I was having a relaxing bath it striked me...sandy...that dog could be behind all this...I mean all this started after he came into our lives with his damn project and then he was related to alisha and his sudden alliance with geet, all these couldn't be just co-incidences...!!

So, I somehow got hold of his picture and went to that waiter to confirm my doubts. And it was right on target...he smirked...the waiter recognised him and to add to my proofs, dev came with my driver, who went missing after that day...adi looked at maan with wide eyes...I know you all were searching for him as well. That idiot had went back to his village to get his family. He was planning to move out of the state along with his family, but was caught by dev...!!

He too testified against sandy...bas phir kya tha...I came back and cancelled the engagement...maan had a smug look on his face.

But maan itna sab kuch hogaya, why didn't you complaint against him...??...adi was totally shocked to know all this...he should be hand over to the police...!!

For what adi...??...maan asked sighing...we could have sue him, but that would have not caused him much harm...!!...Its not that easy adi. We need solid proofs as well as a solid crime done by him to file a case against him. But till then we have to keep an eye on him...maan's eyes were dark as he said...he has some bigger plans up his sleeves and this time I won't let him harm anyone close to me...aur geet ke toh ass pass bhi nahi bhatakne donga use...adi knew maan will do what he is saying, he knew his possessiveness for geet since their school time...I have already told mohinder uncle to not let sandy near geet if he comes at HM...!!

Maan then looked at adi again and said...till then make sure whenever he enters KC, I should be informed right away...Do.you.get.me...??...his tone was strict and authoritative. Adi looked at maan and nodded in affirmation.

Good, now I want you to go through this file and do a complete check about the land and other details once again...you know what I mean...??

I got you maan, don't worry...the work will be done...adi pushed back his glasses and said...there has to be some loopholes...!!

Great then, get back to your work...maan said and started typing something in his laptop. Adi was at the door when he looked back at maan and asked...have you told geet about sandy...??

Maan looked at him and shook his head...no adi and I don't want to tell her, not atleast now. She has already been through a lot and I want her to remain carefree and happy as I know she would get unnecessarily worried as we still have to complete sandy's hotel project...!!

But maan, it would help her to stay alert regarding sandy...!!

Maan thought for a second an then replied...I'll think about it...!!

Adi nodded and left the cabin.

Great...this is just great, babaji...ek toh I am angry and not even once has he spared me a glance...geet cribbed looking upwards and then looking at maan from the glass partition as he was engrossed in his work.

Kal toh bare daave kar raha tha...I'll do this...I'll do that and now, it seems as if I don't even exist anymore...she went on with her complaint. But she was really missing maan. After everything was over, she badly wanted sometime with him, but her darn ego didn't let her voice it.

Seriously geet, agar itna miss kar rahi ho toh why don't you go and talk to him...??...sneha said as she heard her cribbings entering geet's cabin.

Missing him...??...oh please...she rolled her eyes trying to show her ...I don't care if maan talks to me or not...huh...she twisted her lips still observing maan from the corner of his eyes to check whether he is looking at her not.

Sneha giggled softly at her antics and said...I never took maan sir's name...!!

SNEHA...!!...stop irritating me...she pouted at being caught.

Okay, I am sorry...she replied in a low voice.

Geet looked at sneha and sighed...come on yaar...you don't have to say sorry, okay. We are friends...she came to sneha and hugged her...infact, I am very thankful to you for getting me those videos, otherwise I would have never been able to get back my maan...!!

Now, you don't have to say thank you, after all we are friends, right...??...sneha and geet both giggled looking at each other.

By the way, yesterday I didn't got a chance to ask you...how did you got those videos...??...I mean how did you know I had talked to alisha a day before yesterday...??

Actually, I didn't know about your conversation untill saw that video...sneha replied honestly.

Woh...she hesitated a bit...I was checking for some other footage and thus had to go through all of them. But luckily, came across that one...!!

Geet looked at her narrowing her eyes and asked...waise, which footage were you looking for...??

Uh...sneha suddenly looked uneasy...I...I...woh...

Suddenly, the door opened and vicky entered saving sneha from answering...hey girls...!!...whats up...!!

Geet was already pissed at maan and poor vicky made a very wrong time entry...vicky, don't you have any work...??...KC ke chakkar kuch jyada nahi kat rahe ho...she looked at him with a frown and vicky cursed his luck...here we go again...damn, she's mad at bhai...!!...great timing vicks...!!

He he...hi doll, I just came to see...he gave a nervous smile to geet, while sneha chuckled at his condition. By now, she knew geet and vicky shared a very strong bond and vicky is geet's favourite when it comes to venting out her anger.

Oh really, and why so...??...am I sick...??...and even if I am, I am sure you khurana brothers would never even bother to think about me, let alone coming to see me...huh...!!...she finally let out her frustration and felt good.

Geet yaar, tu bhai ka gussa humesha mujhpar hi kyun nikalti hai...??...he made a face and sneha laughed at his expression, while geet gave him one of her famous angry young girl look...!!

For a moment geet and vicky both were lost in sneha's laughter as none has seen her laugh so freely like this. Sneha sensed their gaze on her and immediately controlled herself muttering a meek sorry...

Wow...it was obviously vicky giving his love sick puppy look, while geet rolled her eyes at vicky and come to sneha...you look so beautiful when you laugh like that, sneha...!!

Sneha gave an embarrased smile, when vicky commented...yes, always laugh like that...from your heart...!!

Both vicky and sneha shared an eye lock for a small moment before geet brutally interrupted...tu toh chuphi reh vicky and why the hell are you here...??...don't you have your music practice...??...consert hone mein sirf 10 din bache hain...!!

Yeah sure...he replied sarcastically feeling super irritated for geet being he third wheel between him and sneha...woh actually, I came to give you both the passes for my consert...he took out two passes and handed each to both the girls.

Tu mujhe pass dene yahan kyun aaya...??...geet asked with a confused face...main toh tere sath hi rahungi na...!!

Now vicky wanted to bang his head somewhere...yes geet, but I thought sneha ko de raha hoon toh tujhe bhide doon...!!

Hmm, phir thik hai...geet said and started checking out the pass.

Uh sneha, you'll come right...he asked a bit unsure fearing she may decline. But sneha smiled...

Of course vicky, you are a wonderful singer and I would definitely come to the show. Thanks for the pass...!!

Great then, I'll leave now...have some wok to complete...vicky was ecstatic at sneha's reply and decided to make his consert super best. He left from there with a stupid grin on his face as sneha's words praising him kept echoing in his mind. Anyone who saw him like that thought he was a lunatic for sure.

Sneha and geet were still in geet's cabin, when the intercom of the cabin rang. Geet looked at maan and saw him still working on the laptop while clutching the phone to his ears...

Hmph...!!...devil khurana...itna attitude dekha raha hai...and stomped towards the phone. She picked it up and said a bit angrily...

YES SIR...!!

Maan looked at the receive hearing her answering weirdly and then shifted her gaze to geet, whose expressions were not looking any less weird. But, ignoring it he said...geet, come inside...need to discuss something...!!

Before geet could reply again, he disconnected and got back to his work at which geet's eyes went wide seeing the height of his arrogance as well as negligence towards her...Devil...she muttering angrily slamming the receiver back.

Sneha shook her head seeing her friend's weird behaviour and said...okay geet, I guess I should leave now...I just came to hand over this file...she said placing the file on her table.

Geet nodded and both exited the cabin. Geet knocked at maan's cabin and entered...

She stood there for sometime hoping he would say something, but maan quietly kept working on his laptop. Now geet was boiling with anger and started muttering curses under her breath...what the hell does he think of himself...!!...moron, stupid, idiot, gadha...devil khurana, huh...!!

Her anger reached on top of her head and thus she turned to leave, but just the next moment maan's voice stopped her...I don't think I asked you to leave miss handa...!!

Geet felt like strangling him with her bare hand. She turned and replied...No SIR...purposely stressing on sir...but since you are so busy, I thought not to disturb you...sarcasm was dripping from every letter.

Maan look at her with piercing eyes and tightened his jaws. He slowly stood up from his place and moved towards her with heavy steps...

Oops...!!...yeh kya kiya jhalli...!!...jag gaya ravan...she muttered under her breath and started moving back. Soon maan trapped her between the wall and himself and brought his lips close to her ears...

Don't push your luck miss handa, remember that I am still your boss...he pressed her more causing her to gasp...better control that tongue of yours or else I'll have to help you with that...he smirked seeing her gulping nervously. He loved to see his effect on her. She always becomes nervous with his proximity though they have shared much more than this. He chuckled thinking that and turned back and as soon as he turned geet stuck her tongue out mocking him. But to her sheer horror maan turned around that very moment and she was still in the same position with her tongue out. Maan looked directly into her eyes and then at her tongue while geet followed his gaze and immediately retreated her tongue cursing her luck.

Seems like you really need my help in controlling your tongue...he gave his famous lopsided grin and came forward, while geet's eyes widened and she shreiked covering her mouth with her palms...NOOO...!!

Easy girl, I'll definitely become deaf bcoz of you some day...he shook his head and get back to his chair.

Miss handa, do you need an invitation card to sit...??...he asked raising his one brow. She shook her head in negative and immediately took the seat.

So, what was I saying...??...oh yes, I want you to read the details of this project and prepare a design...he said handling her the file...and yes, show me the design in the evening...!!

Okay sir...she said taking the file.

She was about to get up, when maan again stopped her...I am not finished yet miss handa...geet shot him a glare for irritating her like this, but kept quiet...this project is very important and thus I want the main idea ready today itself and you cannot leave office untill you finish it. Do you get me...??

YES SIR...!!...she gritted her teeth feeling like killing him and left muttering colourful words for him.

Maan looked at her retreating form and a smile fomed at the corner of his lips...

Pagal...he said getting back to his work.

Maan worked for sometime and then heard a knock on his door...

May I come in sir...sneha asked from the door.

Yes sneha...maan asked looking up from the laptop.

Sir, the details you asked for...she replied forwarding a file.

Oh its done...good...he took the file from her and a piece of paper fell from the file. Sneha was standing there waiting for maan's further orders and didn't saw the paper. But maan saw that paper and bend down to pick it up. He opened it and saw it was some design. On observing it closely, he was surprised as it was a rough idea for his new venture of building an old age home and was more surprise to see that the measurement were written in sneha's hand writing. He examine the design and was really happy with the idea as it consisted of most of the requirement for making the project successful.

He looked up and saw sneha standing looking at him with a confused expression...uh, sneha...what is this design doing here...??

Sneha still had the confused expression and then her eyes turned towards the paper in his hands. He saw how her confused look turned into shock and then nervousness spread all over her face...

Woh...s..sir...ac...actually...I...she was fumbling with words and maan could see beads of sweat on her forehead...its okay sneha, relax...no need to panic...!!

She looked at maan while he spoke again...actually its perfect and I really liked it...!!

Sir...I...

Sneha I want to use the same thing for the old age home if you don't mind...he spoke in his businessman attitude...due credit as well as payment will be given to you for this...!!

Ji...??...but yeh toh maine...I mean I am not a professional...her voice was low.

It doesn't matter to me and MSK value talent and you are very talented...he looked straight into her eyes...its a deal from my side. If you are ready I'll ask adi to include you in the plan and start the work...!!

Maan saw a different kind of light in her eyes, which he has usually seen in people whose dreams come true. He looked at her for a second and then enquired...but sneha as far as I remember, you are a simple graduate right...??...then how come you know about the basics of architecture and this...he showed the design to her...is far from just basics...??

All the shine that had adorned her face a second before vanished instantly and some kind of fear took its place. Maan watched her keenly seeing her chnging expression once again, but when he saw her condition worsening he thought to let it be for the time being...

Its okay sneha, if you don't want to disclose these information...he straightened his position and said getting back to his work...I'll inform adi about it...go and meet him...!!

Sneha calmed herself at the change of topic, nodded and left his cabin.

Maan saw her from behind and kept pondering over what all happened some minute ago. Making up his mind, he picked up he phone and said after hearing a man's voice from the other side...I want complete personal and professional information about Sneha, my personal secretary. You can get her photograph and other info from KC's employee's list...!!

It was late evening and geet was still engrossed in her work. The design was complicated and it was taking her a long time. Most of the staff had left and only few were left. Maan too was winding up his work fast inorder to spend his rest of free time with his mishty. He had seen her looking at him every now and then and cribbing to her babaji, complaining about him. He chuckled at her unique antics and was glad that this antique piece belongs to him.

He leaned on his seat relaxing a bit after completing his work and get on to his most amusing and entertaining task...staring at his beloved...!!

He kept checking her out while she was engrossed in her work, oblivious of her surroundings. He recalled past two weeks, which had been nothing but a sort of nightmare for both of them...

I know geet, you had to suffer a lot and that too unnecessarily and I promise to fill your rest of life with enormous happiness. I won't let a single trouble even touch your shadow...his eyes grew dark with a mysterious shadethe next second as he vow to himself...all those people are going to pay very badly for laying their eyes on your happiness, I swear mishty...!!

He was brought out of his monologue, when he saw geet gathering the papers and getting up...so, finally miss handa's work is complete...he smirked as he saw her coming towards his cabin.

Sir, the design...she forwarded the file.

Hmm...maan took the file and was checking thoroughly, while geet kept looking at the watch and murmuring...hey babaji, yeh dusht danav ko toh na bhuk lagti hai na pyaas, but apni iss bachchi ka toh soncho...she made a baby face...I am starving here and this moron is busy digging his face in that stupid design...!!

She gave maan an accusing look, though he was not looking at her and cursed him under her breath...gadha, can't even once ask whether I am hungry or not...!!

Miss handa, get your things from your cabin...she looked confused at his sudden words...we are going out for dinner...!!

Geet was at once happy and excited about having a dinner date with maan as it has been long time, but then she masked her joy and said in a non-interested tone...I am sorry sir, but I don't think its appropriate as we are just boss and secretary and nothing else...!!

Maan rolled his eyes at her stubborn behaviour and thought another way to get his work done...oh really, thanks for reminding miss handa, but when did I deny that...!!

She gave him an angry glare to which he casually added...I am just aking you to have dinner with me and before you say anything, let me inform you its a professional dinner sodon't get your hopes high...!!

He smirked as he saw her mouth go in the 'O' shape. She twisted her lips cutely and stood up saying...fine, I'll be right back...!!

Maan saw her leaving and sighed...I know geet you are angry and also know that you'll never let me be with you if I go the straight way. So to get you back I have to opt for the curvy path...he suddenly smiled and added with an amused glint in his eyes...after all you are my mishty, my jalebi...sweet and curvy...!!

Sandy, relax son...his mother tried to calm him down...geet is not the only girl in this world. I'll get much more beautiful and better girl than her...just forget about her...!!

No mom, this is not possible...he was furious at her words...two times mom...two times she has rejected me...ME...SANDEEP MEHRA...!!

There was madness written all over his face as his parents watched their son venting out his anger on each and everything...but son, we cannot force them for the alliance and moreover, geet loves that MSK...!!

No dad...geet sirf meri and I'll not let anyone come in between us...he spat angrily.

But sandy, try to understand...his father once again spoke...Mr. Handa has refused for the allaince in clear words and he has the right to decide for his daughter...!!

Snady closed his eyes and controlled himself...mom, dad...please leave me alone...!!

His parents thought to give him his time to deal with the heart break and left the room. But it was not heart break he was feeling. It as his mad obsession for geet which had taken over his mind completely.Geet was the only occupant of his thoughts and his mind was working at a grave velocity in hatching out a perfect plan to make geet his forever.

You are mine geet and I'll make sure you understand that very soon...his facial features hardened...you have become my obsession and I won't let you slip away from me at any cost...he took a paper weight an stood before the mirror...just wait and watch my love...I'll mark you as my possession and that lover boy of yours won't be able to do anything...with that he threw the paper weight on the mirror shattering it into pieces, laughing maniacally at his own images which could be seen in the shattered pieces of glass on the floor...!!

n yes one thing I would like to say about maan not suspecting alisha is that maan has been born and brought among women and girls of dignity, whether modern or conservative...I mean short skirt ones or salwar suit ones, all possess self respect n thats why maan had never faced girls like alisha. In fact alisha is also decent to some extent, but her love or rather madness for maan blinded her to take such extreme steps...hope I am clear😊
