@Priti, the above in bold blue is also a reply to your argument on what actions she has taken...

@Avi, I agree no paper or document can define the mental state of your marriage or relationship, yet we go through the process which binds us in holy matrimony. And above all hindu marriages are based on saptapadi (saat phere), which is anything but paper; thus marriage is on a higher grounds. And which leads to the next question, if you don't value that relationship then what is the point...

@Aarya: The onus of guilt somehow is always on the female. I think men generally will say "oh yeah she is a b****", I could no longer deal with it; whereas the woman goes thru' every step she did and wonders whether that was what caused it to fail. Did she not make enough special meals, were the clothes not perfectly done, did she not care enough for his family, yada yada yada. Sorry but the guilt word triggered all this. I do agree that it is a holy relationship and should be valued above all; but when one party is already out of it; how much of the responsibility is on the other partner to keep sustaining the vows? Both of them took them together. And regarding your point about Maan, no matter how hot you are if someone says they are married you should back off; if however as Ms. Geet said she is sort of single, then he should have no qualms in pursuing her. Hasini, sorry for taking over your thread😆.

The decisions and comments which Geet is making seems more consciously vs unconsciously, especially about her being single and all...

Shouldn't you control the irresistible temptations else the true essence of marriage is lost...
Aarya,
I agree to some extent, but still all those moments where she's had slip-of tongue moments showing her shock & suprise indicate that she is having a conflict within herself which is causing thoughts being blurted out from her unconscious mind to conscious being. Its these thoughts that are like an iceberg only the tip showing her annoyance & resistance but deep underneath she has those desires.
I think that she is having these fight for controling her temptations, but she can't just see herself through this marital relation...
Hope i could get my view-point across, & not jumbled it all😕

Aarya, I disagree with you 😛. Her getting her ear's pierced exactly where he touched her was also in a way acting on her temptation. She just knows he is special somehow, but she hasn't yet termed how... so she has nothing to feel guilty about 😆.

I will buy ur argument is you say that you think she has everything to feel guilty about because she just lashed out at Maan recently. I could agree with you that maybe she did that because she was insecure about her feelings towards him. But this could also in a way prove my point that she has nothing to feel about, because the minute he started getting personal, she actually lashed out, because in her mind, he is still a stranger.

Have I managed to confuse you yet? 😃

Zing!

It was exactly what she was replacing the sensation on her earlobe with... Impulsive, Agreed. But it was certainly not to put a constant reminder of what she wants. Instead it was meant to remind her just the opposite - all that she shouldn't want.
