NEXT DAY

Vicky was lazing around in the living room chatting with Geet while Mohinder and Raj were engaged in some deep conversation, discussing something related to business. Dadima, Naina and Rano were assisting the cooks for breakfast.

Maan made his way downstairs while talking n phone. He seemed to be very angry. He practically ignored everyone present and went there and directly went to Geet-

"Main office jaa raha hoon aur mujhe aah aane mein shayad deri ho jaayegi to mera wait mat karna. Bye."

"Par beta….Nashta toh…."

He pecked on her forehead and was out of the mansion even before Naina could complete her sentence.

Everyone stood shocked at his sudden exit, except Rano and Dadima, as it was nothing new to them. Rano muffled a giggle seeing everyone's faces seeing the Toofan Mail exit of her son oops son-in-law and said-

"Vo to gaya...Ab Chaliye aap sab log to naashta kar lijiye…."

KHURANA CONSTRUCTIONS

Maan was highly pissed off ever since he had got a call from his detectives. First of all the whereabouts of the slime ball Brij and his father were still unknown. Secondly, the detectives had found something about Geet's accident but refused to delve further information on phone. They insisted to meet him personally. He wondered-

"Aisa bhi kya ho sakta hai jo wo phone parr nahi bata sakta tha..."

His thoughts were disturbed when his receptionist called to inform him about their arrival.

"Send him in and don't disturb me for another two hours…."

He gave the necessary instructions to her before keeping the phone down. Just then there was a knock on his cabin door.

"Come in."

He was surprised to see Mr. Devendra himself had come. He was the head of the private agency Maan had hired. Maan requested him to take a seat.

"Mr. Devendra, Aap yaha….Mujhe laga tha ki aap ka koi aadmi aayega…."

"Jee Mr. Khurana but actually mujhe aapko jo information deni thi vo main aapko personally dena chahta tha...Yeh jo accident case hai utna simple nahi hai jitna hum samajh rate the..."

"Mujhe iss baat ka andesha pehle se tha isiliye main ne iss case ko aap logon ko diya tha...So tell me aap kya zaroori baat mujhe batana chahte the…."

"Sir, humein yeh pata laga hai ki Geet madam ka accident London mein hua tha par yeh koi aam accident nahi tha….Humein shak hai actually pura yakin hai ki it was an attempt to murder…."

"WHATTT…..YOU MEAN TO SAY BRIJ..."

"Nahi nahi sir….Iss sab se Brij ka koi lena dena nahi hai…."

"Yeh aap itna surety se kaise keh sakte hain... After all pehle bhi Brij ne Geet ke pichhe gunde lagaye the toh iss baar..."

"Sir...Main 100%sure hoon ki yeh kaam uska nahi hai...Kyunki iss accident ki target Geet ma'am nahi thi..."

"WHATTT...TO PHIR...OH GOD….PAHELIYON MEiN BAAT KARNA BAND KARO AND TELL ME…."

"Please calm down sir…. unka accident college premises ke bahar hi hua tha...she was trying to save someone aur ussi chakkar mein uss car ne unhe maar diya..."

Maan closed his eyes thinking "Why did God give such a big heart to Geet that she puts her life in danger for everyone….Geet mere baare mein toh socha hota agar tumhe kuchh ho….". He wasn't able to even think about it, what if something actually happened to her….

"Sir hamein pata chala hai ki uss waqt wahan parr unke alawa do log aur bhi the…."

"Kaun..."

"Sir un logon ke naam hai Arohi Singhania and…."

"AND…."

"Pari Khurana…."

"Pari???"

"Jee sir aur hamare sources ke anusaar yeh hamlaa Pari ke liye hi tha…."

"Hmmm…."

"Sir….Ek aur bahut zaroori baat hai jo khaas taur par main aapko batane yaha aaya hoon..."

"Kyaa???"

"Sir, Pari Khurana ke father ka naam hai Mr. Ranjeet Singh Khurana…."

Maan felt land has slipped away from below his feet, he silently prayed that the truth was not what he was thinking, and he barely managed to whisper….

"Aur unki Maa ka naam…."

"Mrs. Simi Singh Khurana…."

"But vo to..."

"Sirr…. aap jo soch rahe hain vo sahib hai….She is the same girl who was declared dead by the doctors when she was born….Vo aapki been hain…."
