PART 52

It had been two months now since geet was staying at Handa Haveli. It was really tough for geet and maan to saty away but they had too. In the midst of this the ongoing project fo KC was successful due to the hard work of Vicky and regular inputs from Maan. Geet had stopped working ad Mohinder had strictly warned her from going to KC and KM. Maan was hell angry on this as he did not wanted geet's career top be affected due to their personal problems. But he could not go against Mohinder. It was a big day for the Khuranna's as the Khuranna Contructions was getting the best construction company iIndia. It was a dream come true for them and were very happy. They was a party in the honour of Ranjit and Maan and the whole of India's business associates were present. As the Khuranna's never missed handa's in their happiness, Yash himself had went to the Handa haveli to invite them. Though there were deifferences between both the families, the Handa's did oblige to their invitation. Geet was overwhelmed with it but she remembered the promise given to her father tat she will not come in frony of the Khuranna's and especially Maan. Though her heart ached to be with Maan she was held with her promise.

It was the day of the official party where all were present. Maan was eagerly waiting for geet even though he knew tat there were less chances of her to come. He saw the handa's coming inside and his eyes searched for his mishty but they did not see her. Annie saw Maan and felt bad for him. The Khuranna's and Handa's met with each other but still there was an awkwardness between the. The party was slowly taking the pace and here Maan was missing his mishti. But he had to keep a smiling face as he knew tat his mishti wont like if he is sad on this day. He badly wanted to talk to geet today and hear her voice. It had been almost two months now he had talked to her though on some instances he did see her from far. But he was sacred tat he will breakdown in front of her and he could not do tat. Vicky exactly knew wat he was going through and finally made a call to geet.

Vicky: hello

Geet: Hello vicky

Vicky: geet please bro se baat kar lo. He really needs you today.

Geet: janthi hoon vicky, par tum janthe ho na ki papa ne mana kiya hai aur Maan yeh bilkul nahi chahyege ki main papa ke khilaaf jao.

Vicky: geet main tumhe bro se milne ke liye nahi keh raha hoon. Just talk to him, once so tat he will feel better.

With this vicky moves towards Maan and gives him the phone. Maan takes the phone and was shocked to hear geet.

Geet: vicky please Maan gussa ho jayenge. Main janthi hoon ki unhe meri jarrurat hai aur sach maano vicky mujhe bahut khushi hai ki KC ko yeh award mil raha hai. Main khud ish waqt Maan ke saath rehna chah thi hoon par majboor hoon.

Maan: geet.

Geet was all silent just by hearing her name. she could sense the pain in his voice. She could not speak a word more and just kept the phone near her ear a if trying to listen his words. Maan was just staring at vicky and vicky at Maan. Maan was so desparate to say something but his mouth did not get any words to say. They stayed on the phone like tat for sometime when Maan heard geet's scream. He broke out from his thought and called out to geet again. But there was no answer from her side. The call got disconnected and he tried again but still geet did not receive the phone. He tried again and found the phone out of network. He was sacred and just ran out without thinking anything and dashed into vicky. Vicky asked him why was he in hurry when maan just handed him the phone and ran out. Vicky shocked to see his brother like tat and so were the handa's and Khuranna's. they came towards vicky who himself was shocked. He broke out when he heard dadima calling out to him.

Dadima: Vicky beta yeh Maan ko kya hua hai. Yeh aise kyu bhaage.

Vciky: pata nahi dadima ki baat kya hain.

Annie: vicky, bhai tho phone pe the na. kisse baat kar rahe the.

Vicky: di bro geet se baat kar rahe the..

Its than he realised tat Maan was talking to geet on phone but why did he ran like tat. He did know wat came to him and he called geet again, but her phone was out fo network. He called Maan but he did not receive it.

Rano: vicky aakhir baat kya hain. tum phone kisi laga rahe ho.

Vicky: maa geet ka phone nahi lag raha hain aur bro phone anhi utha rahe hain. Maa geet ghar pe akeli hai kya.

Rano: haan.

Vicky then tried the landline but no lone picked. He finally got tensed and called the Handa's servant quarters and one of the servant replies saying tat there was no current there. Hearing this Vicky almost screamed with anger. Seeing vicky so angry and tensed all others got sacred.

Shailaja:vicky baat kya hai. Tum itne tension aur gusse main kyu.

Vicky: Mom humari area mein current nahi hain.

Ranjit: tho ismein kya hain. ho saktha hain wah kuch problem ho.

Vicky: dad geet haveli mein akeli hain.

Tats when The khuranna's realised wat vicky wanted to say but the handa's were all unaware about it. They just kept staring.

Mohinder: Vicky geet akeli hain hum sab janthe hain par current aur geet mein kya rishta hain.

Vicky did not stay to answer his questions and just ran away from there which was followed by the Khuranna's and later on Handa's. Ranjit informed his staff to handle the situation. The handa's did not have a clue wat was happening but somewhere were sacred.

Maan reached the HH and was shocked to see tat it was full in dark. He called out to geet but there was no reply. He just screamed her name but no answer. He slowly made his way towards geet's room and called out to her again. He pushed the door but it was locked from inside, he called her again and still there was no response. Maan started pancking as he knew tat this would be very dangerous for her. He started breaking the door and by the time all others reached the haveli. They were shocked to see it in dark n heard maan calling out to geet. They went upstairs and saw maan breaking the door. Vicky all knew about it and helped him. Others to joined but looking at maan they did not question him. Soon the door was opened and they started searching for geet. Maan banged with something and bend down to see it was geet lying down and was injured. He picked her up and ran towards the car while others followed. They soon reached the hospital and geet was hospitalized. It was a hell for all of them to see geet in tat state. They did not know wat to do when Mohinder asked vicky wat was all happening.

Mohinder: vicky, yeh sab kya hain. geet ko kya hua hain.

Vicky: papa, kuch nahi hua.. sab theek hoga

Rano: theek. Tumhe yeh sab theek deekhtha hain. meri beti waha andar hain aur tum theek keh rahe ho ki sab theek hain.

Ranjit: Mohinder sab theek hoga.. geet ko kuch nahi hoga. Sambhalo apne aap ko.

Mohinder: ranjit tumne dekha na ki geet ko kitni chot lagi hain aur tum keh rahe ho ki sab theek hoga.

Everyone was hell worried but no one knew wat maan was going through. He was standing at one corner looking at the door of the room hoping tat doctor will come out and give him some news about geet. Vicky slowly came towards him and placed his hand on his shoulder. Maan looked at him and vicky was shocked to see teras in his eyes. Just than doctor came and said.

Maan: doctor, how is geet?

Doctor: Mr. khuranna, its not all well.. she has lost lot of blood and its critical. Right now we have stopped the bleeding but hope tat she comes to senses within 48 hours.. the wound is very deep. And if she..

Maan: and if..

Doctor: sorry to say Mr. khuranna if she does not respond within 48 hours, we wont be able to save her.

Maan hold doctors collar and says: don't you dare say tat. Do you understand. Nothing will happen to her. Get the best doctors available but I want her back. And mind it if you fail I willburn this whole hospital. Just get her back. Do you get it.

Vicky and Arjun and Prem pulls Maan back. They try him to calm but he was no where listening.

Arjun: Maan calm down. Kuch anhi hoga geet ko. Kuch nahi.

Vicky: please bro shant hojaye.

Maan pushed all of them and shouts'. Shant ho jao. Tum chah the ho ki main shant ho jao.. tumne suna nahi ki doctor ne kaha. And you want me to calm.

Ranjit: maan bas..

Maan: nahi dad.. ab aur nahi.. agar geet ko kuch bhi hua tho main ish puri duniya ko aag laga dunga.

Ranjit: kuch nahi hoga maan.

Dadima: Maan please shant ho jaye ab. Geet ko kuch nahi hoga. She will be all right. You are there na.

Dadima hugged Maan while consoling him when Mohinder asked the doctor wat was the reason for her wound.

Doctor: Mr.Handa Geet pe yeh attack kaise hua hain. I mean she has been shot by a gun in her chest closed to her heart. And due to tat she has lost blood and hope for the best now and there are other bruises on her body as if somebody tried to force on her and she was trying the best.

All were shocked to know tat geet was shot. They could not believe tat someone came inside their own property and shot their princess and now she was struggling for her life. No one knew the exact reason for it and stared at Maan.

Mohinder: maan yeh sab.. geet ko kisne.

Ranjit: Maan chup kyu ho. Bata do kya hai yeh. Geet ko goli kaisi lagi

Everyone asked him but he was all quite but he kept his silence. When all of the sudden Rano slapped him.

Rano: bolo Maan, aakhir meri geet ko goli kaise lagi. Kya hain yeh sab.

Maan: Main haar gaya Maa. Har gaya main.

Shailaja: Maan please.. bata do baat kya hain.

Maan: Aap logo ne geet ko akela kyu chodo. Kyu nahi laye usko aapke saath. Kyu chodo ushe haveli mein akela. Kyu aap meri galati ki sazza ushe di.. kyu kiya aap sab ne.

Mohinder: akele chodne aur goli lagne ka kya matlab Maan.

Maan: Rahul.

Just by listening to Rahul's name all were rooted at their spot. They did not know wat was Maan actually saying but they knew tat there was much more to this. Just when Maan copuld say something the nurse came running shouting for the doctor. The doctor came and without saying a word he went inside. Everyone was tensed outside and Maan was all hell sacred for his life. He could not bear to see hi mishti like tat. He could not take it anymore and silently went from there. He walked aimlessly when he reached near the small idol of god. He looked up and folded his hands in front and kneeled down to pray.

Maan: main jantha hoon ki maine aapko kabhi nahi maana par meri geet aapko har samay yaad karthi. Aap par pura bharosa tha ushe phir aapne ushe yaha kya la khada kiya. Kay galati ki thi usne ki ushe meri galathi ki sazza milthi rehthi hain. kya kasoor hain uska ki ushe har baar maut ke darwaazw pe la khada karthe hain aap. main nahi jantha ki mujhe aapse kuch maangne ka haq hai ki nahi par agar aap pyar ko manthe hain tho aaj main aapke samne aapne pyar ke liye bheek mangtha hoon. Chahye tho aap meri zindagi ki har saas lejiye par meri geet ko wapas kar dijiye. Nahi dekha saktha hoon ushe aisi halat mein. Please meri jaan mujhe waps kar dijiye. Zindagi bar kuch nahi maaga aur na hi kabhi maanguga par please meri geet ko wapas kar dijiye.

Mohinder had come to get his answers from Maan when he saw Maan kneeling down in front of the god and was shocked see him crying. He knew Maan as a strong person but this man in front of him was all helpless. He was angry on him but he could not see his Maan breaking down like this. He slowly reached near him and kept his hand on his shoulder. Maan turned and hugged him while crying all the time.

Maan: papa aap kaheye na bhagwan se ki who meri geet ko wapas kar de. Nahi jee saktha hoon main uske bina. Mar jaunga main papa. Please aap kahiye ki who mera sab kuch cheen le par meri jaan mujhe wapas kar de. Please papa I beg you, tell god to give my life back. Main aapse promise kartha hoon ki main geet ko hamesha nkhush rahkuga par please inhse kahiye ki who geet ko theek kar de.

Mohinder: Kuch nahi hoga Maan. Tumari geet theek hojayegi. Aur tum shayad bhool rahe ho ki geet tumhe akele chodkar kabhi nahi jayegi. Bhagwan se ladh kar wapas aayegi who apne Maan ke paas. Kuch nahi hoga.

Mohinder knew tat he was just consolling Maan when all the while his heart was paining to see his daughter fighting for life and Maan breaking down. He knew tat he had done wro ng by separating them but tat was the anger of a father who did not understand wat to do but it was his mistake. He did not know wat it was with Rahul and geet getting shot but somewhere he now was much clear tat geet was only safe with Maan. He now understood tat why Maan never allowed geet alone out. He always kept some bodygaurds with her. He remembered the day when after bringing geet to Handa haveli, one day geet was going out with him and Rano when he saw few bodyguards around the, he was angry and asked tehm why they were here. They told them tat Maan had asked them to be around Handa Haveli and saty with geet wherever she goes.but than he was angry and had literally barged into KM asking Maan to withdraw all the security. But now he knew tat Maan was all the while protecting geet even after staying away. He had done the biggest mistake by not allowing geet to come to the party and keeping her all the while alone. he kept patting Maan's back but was sacred to talk any further.

Precap: wat is it with Rahul?

Hi everyone.. I will be winding up this ff very soon. I feel tat I have almost finished all the points for this. You may be wondering about Dev and don't worry he will soon understand his mistakes. As far as ending this, I don't want to drag it more and its better tat before everyone loose interest in this I wind it up. So may be some 5-6 more updates and than the end.

I have also started a new ff called as Dangerous Love which will be quite different . but will not be updating it so soon. Will try to finish this by next week as I have almost written all the parts and only thing is I have to type it. And than give my full concentration on LOVE and HATE and DANGEROUS LOVE.
