Maan tightened his grip on Geet's waist and for unknown reasons Geet too allowed her lips to move closer to Maan's lips and within a matter of seconds their lips were glued to each other ultimately giving rise to their first kiss

There was a different feeling and emotion that both of them were sharing in this kiss maybe right now they were unable to name this emotion but deep down in their heart both of them knew that it was surely not lust and neither was it any sort of attraction

Geet was trying to calm him down and Maan was releasing all his problems in this kiss

They slowly invaded the territory of each other's mouth and very soon the taste of the chilli powder got converted into a blissful experience as unknowingly both of them submitted each other's existence to one another through this kiss

It was strange but these 2 strong personalities were trying to win a battle for their own personal victories but they were unaware that they had already been defeated in the war called LOVE

It seemed ages and both of them continued to kiss each other trying to connect each other's soul through this one kiss, yes their first ever kiss, which was perfect and magical

But every perfect moment has to come to an end either through consent or through the means of some hinderance, and in their case, the disturbance came in the form of a horn

Dev was waiting for Maan outside his Mansion as they were getting late for a meeting

He continued to give signals to Maan by pressing the horn of his car and this was enough to break the magical trance of Maaneet

They moved away from each other as soon as they saw the mirror of reality

Their minds tried to register the importance of the incident that had taken place right now

Maan and Geet were not sure about the reaction that they were supposed to give

They kept on staring at each other, as their lips were now sealed with an altogether different feeling

Both of them had some questions and they were trying to find the answers in each other's eyes

Maan and Geet thinking:

Was this kiss a mistake? If the answer is yes then why did the kiss appear so pure?

Can the word "weak moment" explain this particular incident? No this can't be a weak moment the emotions that both of them experienced were far too strong

Oh it might be a case of attraction or maybe lust? As this thought crossed their mind an unbearable pain stabbed their hearts which was enough to give an answer no it can't be lust it was something divine something precious and beautiful

Was this a strategy to make their respective plans successful? No, this can't be a game the feeling that they had shared in this one kiss was magical than God Godliness'. it can't be a plan it was something else

Can any word explain the blissful feeling they went through? Yes there was a word and it was LOV'

But before their thought process could pass its final verdict Dev once again disturbed their romantic flow by pressing the horn again and again

Maan and Geet break their eyelock and Maan immediately turns his face away from Geet

Maan: Main office ja raha hoon [I am leaving for office]

He wanted to say so many things but this was the only sentence that he dared to speak in front of Geet

Geet simply nodded her head as she was still trying to calm down her racing heartbeats

Maan took some files and rushed out of the Mansion leaving a confused Geet all alone

Geet rushed to her room and stood in front of the mirror

Her gaze automatically shifted to her lips

Her lips had a different appeal today it looked beautiful especially after Maan left his mark on them

Geet: Ye main kya soch rahi hoon mere hoth humesha se hi khoobsurat the jo kuch bhi hua usse naahi inki khoobsurati ghati hai aur nahi hi ubri hai [What am I trying to think? My lips were always beautiful the incident has neither decreased nor increased its beauty]

Geet: Mujhe bus itna yaad rakhna hai k kuch bhi nahi hua aur yahi sach hai [I just have to remember that nothing has taken place and this is the only truth]

She takes her lipstick and tries to apply it on her lips but she couldn't go ahead with her mission

Her heart was not allowing her to remove the traces of Maan's possession from her lips but her egoistic mind was not ready to digest the truth

Geet threw the lipstick in frustration and started working on an article as a pretext to divert her mind from Maan's thoughts

Meanwhile,

Maan was also behaving weirdly

Dev was giving him details about the project but for the first time Maan was not ready to open his mouth

It seemed he wanted to capture the essence of his first ever kiss permanently in his heart

Maan's condition was so bad that he did not realize that they had reached the office

Dev: Maan kya hua tujhe? [Maan what's wrong dude?]

Maan could only hear the musical beats of Geet's unsteady breaths

He had to admit she appeared like an angel to him

Dev: (confused) Angel? Ye Angel kaun hai? [Who is this Angel?]

Maan could see Geet's face in front of his eyes; he could not stop himself from smiling

Dev felt like pulling his hair, here they were getting late for their meeting and Maan was busy singing a new song "Angel Angel"

Dev: Mere dost teri tabiyat toh thik haina [My dear friend r u alright?]

Maan did not reply

Dev placed his hand on Maan's forehead

Dev: Bukar toh nahi hai [It doesn't appear to be fever]

He moved his hand near his cheeks and was just about to place it near his throat when Maan got hold of his hand and twisted it

Dev: Ahh'ye kya kar raha hai [Ahh'what r u trying to do?]

Maan felt as if Dev's fingers were going to touch his lips and this was something he would never tolerate

Maan: Iss jagah par sirf meri Angel ka haq hai [This place belongs to my Angel only]

Dev: Are kaunsi jagah aur kaun hai ye Angel? [Which place and who is this Angel?]

But Maan did not give any reply as he had started to relive the moments which he had shared with Geet few minutes before

Dev was getting afraid after seeing Maan's expressions

Dev: Lagta hai Maan ko kuch ho gaya hai, mujhe iske hosh thikane par laane hi padenge [Something has happened to Maan I need to get back his wits]

With the help of his free hand Dev pinced Maan with all his energy

The pain was so great that Maan stepped out from his dreamland immediately

Maan: Paagal ho gaya hai kya? [R u gone crazy?]

Dev (caressing his wrist) Paagal toh tu ho gaya hai dekh kya haalat kar di tune mere haath ki [U have gone mad just have a look what have u done with my hand]

Maan: Ye maine kiya? [Am I responsible for this?]

Dev: Nahi tu akela nahi teri wo Angel bhi responsible hai [No u were not alone ur Angel is also responsible for this]

Maan bit his tongue and cursed his foolishness

How could he call Geet an angel?

Dev: Ye Angel kaun hai Maan? [Who is Angel Maan?]

Maan: Main kisi Angel ko nahi jaanta main toh bus ek bhothni ko jaanta hoon jo ke mere jaan ke peeche haath dokar padi hui hai [ I don't know about any Angel I only know about a witch who is hell bent to make my life troublesome with her unique ways]

Dev: Tu Geet k baare mein baat kar raha hai [R u talking about Geet?]

Maan: Wah tune khoob pehchana aur pehchanega bhina aakhir tune hi toh wo aafat mere gale mein daali hai [Wow u guessed it right and it was obvious as u were the one who brought that trouble in my life]

Dev: (laughing) Waise Maan mujhe pata hai teri Angel bhi Geet hi hai kyun iss baar bhi main sahi hoona? [By the way Maan I am sure your Angel is none other than Geet so I am right this time as well isn't it?]

Maan's voice failed to come out from his mouth

He decided to change the topic

Maan: Mujhe bhook lag rahi hai [I am hungry]

Dev: Tune nashta nahi kiya? [U didn't have ur breakfast?]

Maan: Kiya na, salad [Yes I did have some salad for my breakfast]

Dev was trying to control his laughter

Dev: Iska credit bhi Geet ko hi jana chahiye haina? [This credit also goes to Geet right?]

Maan: Tu mera mazak udana bannd kar aur sun aaj ki presentation tu handle karega kyunki khali peth mein mera dimag kaam nahi karnewala [Stop teasing me and listen u r going to handle today's presentation as my brain doesn't work with an empty stomach]

Dev: Yes Boss ab chale [Yes Boss so shall we leave?]

Maan nodded his head

Throughout the presentation Maan was busy recollecting the most blissful memory of his life that he had lived with Geet through that one kiss'their first kiss which was so special that it was still recurring in his mind

The pretext of hunger was a weak excuse from Maan's side as he was sure that he won't be able to concentrate on the presentation and this might cost his company the deal

This was the only reason why Maan had requested Dev to go on with the meeting

There was not a single moment that Maan had not thought about his Angel same was the case with Geet she had rectified her article numerous times as everytime the word "M" used to appear in her write up automatically her hands would write the name "Maan" on it

It was strange first their closeness used to affect them but now the distances were also reminding them about each other

Destiny was smiling at their restnessless as it had sowed the correct seed of oneness in their hearts through this first kiss that both of them had shared'A kiss which would remain close to their hearts till the last breath of their life

The sunbeams proudly dispersed its radiance in all directions indicating the happiness of the universe on its victory

It was indeed a victory for the God of love "The Cupid" as Maaneet were slowly getting defeated in the game that Destiny had laid in front of them

Destiny decided to use its next weapon to bind these two opposite poles into a bond of Love

It was strange but their so called Challenge had already entered the territory of Love where they were destined to become soulmates

Destiny's next weapon was "CARE"

Cupid was all ready with its bow to leave this magical arrow on Maaneet but destiny requested Cupid to wait till the evening as something special was going to take place tonight
