I so agree to your first point. I know the for a drama the whole fanfare is very important and for me its boring. I totally don't believe that people undergo so much drama in real life that their lives reflect a high octane novella, the one genre that makes me tear my hair out :-) So instead of introducing another aspect to story telling, the friendship between Maan and Geet is already established here so that I can concentrate on one single story.

I just remembered that I haven't updated Vertigo in more than a week now. So today I might not be updating this FF but will be writing Vertigo. That is scheduled to finish in couple of parts anyway.

In case you are wondering what Vertigo is - me challenging myself to write light romance and nothing else. 😆

Well in my defense, it is hard to write. I mean I really have to think and the words and story doesn't come to me very easily! So I thought of going out of this safe haven of mine where in every story has a problem and I establish an algorithm in few chapters and finally provide a solution.

So there! My contrived reasoning.

And the fact that I was in an incredibly boring and very long meeting.

So I should conveniently deduce that since it isn't very invigorating and stimulating, you didn't think of trying it on MG.

hmm.. let me marinate that thought for a day, and see how I like it. ;)

Not really. MG+Office for me is very different and I don't want to taint that style. The stories I write about them in office setting are sometimes derived from my everyday life. The snark in Geet's voice, sarcasm of Maan and the general tone of the story itself. I somehow want to preserve that setting for MG only, I know how weird that sounds!

And that left the new couple...😆

Hell yeh.. you are right. I do remember I had told you I somehow can never imagine you writing an entire piece, with a starting and a middle and an end , with 'Maan' and 'Geet'.. You OS's are just fantastic, but damn its a pain when you want to name them in IF nominations ;) (picking one is.)

Someone mentioned it already but I'm guessing too Maan has either a repressed memory of a tragic event or he's imagining. Can I go totally out on a limb and guess that maybe... It's Maan?
