Next day when Maan, Dev and Ravi left the house Mehra entered the house wearing a mask and Mohinder's Ring which was Gifted to him by Rano. Rakhi was in the kitchen when she felt someone's presence. Rakhi screamed but Mehra put his hand on her mouth and said ' Oh rakhi your still same as you were in collage. You know I always used to feel jealous of Ravi for having you. You know how much hard I tried to get closer to you but every time you rejected me. See I even got your name on my wrist. Only too proov you my love but you you choose Ravi. It was then she noticed the ring but she knew that it was not Mohinder because of his voice and Mohinder was not in her collage. Rakhi ' But who are you?' Mehra 'You still didn't recognize me. Uhhh I really don't want to do this to you Rakhi but I don't have a choice. I must do this. ' and the next moment he put the knife in to her stomach and stabbed her to death.

He dropped the ring beside her and ran away from there. When Ravi came home he was shocked to see Rakhi like that he carried her to hospital but she was dead long before.

After funeral he was sitting in his room when dev came to him with the ring.Dev ' Dad dad can I have this ring?' Ravi took the ring from him and asked him ' where did you get this ring from?' Dev ' I found it on kitchen floor when you took mom to hospital.' Ravi blood was boiling with anger because he knew that the ring belonged to Mohinder. He was unable to believe that. 'Dev go and play outside' Said Ravi to Dev. Dev' but ring' Ravi ' Ravi ' I said go' Dev ran away from there.

Ravi came to Mohinders house it was late night and was raining heavily. Mohinder opened the door and saw Ravi drenched in rain. Mohinder ' What happened Ravi?' Ravi ' Why Mohinder? Why did you Murder Rakhi? Why? You were my friend.' Mohinder ' What are you saying Ravi? Why will I kill R'.' before he could say something he punched him right on his face and then started beating him up. 4 years old Geet came running and shouted ' Please don't hurt my daddy' Ravi ' your daddy is a murderer.' Geet started to cry' Please stop' Mohinder ' Geet please go inside' Ravi couldn't see her tears and stoped. At the same time police came and took Mohinder with them. Rano came running and ' Asked why are you doing this Ravi?' Ravi showed her the ring and said Dev found this in the kitchen right next to Rakhi.' Rano 'no Mohinder can never do that. This can be a misunderstanding. Please wait''

It's been month since that incident and Mohinder was in jail. He hired a lawyer but he couldn't do anything and last day of court was getting nearer.

Seems like God was with Mohinder. It was the day just before the last day of court. Ravi was coming to Mohinder to inform him that he have all the proofs which show that you are a murderer but then he saw Mehra approaching Mohinder. 'What is he doing here?' so he thought of listening to their conversation.

Mehra came to Mohinder. Mohinder instantly begged him that he didn't killed Rakhi. Mehra smirked and said ' I knew you didn't do anything.' Mohinder looked at him confused. Mehra ' Yes I know because it was I who killed Rakhi. It was a punishment for you and for that Ravi and it was I how wore your ring so that Ravi could accuse you and he did.' Mohinder 'Punishment??? For what? ' Mehra ' Yes punishment. It was you who ruined my plan about that project. Remember' Mohinder ' you should have punishment me why did you kill Rakhi?' Mehra ' huh Rakhi! Do you know how much I loved her since Collage but she always ignored me. When after 10 years I saw her. She was married to Ravi and had two sons. I couldn't bare the site. So I had to kill her. I wanted Ravi to suffer.' And he started to laugh madly.

Ravi stood their shocked. Savitri Davis words were roaming in his mind ' Ravi You will regret one day. Mohinder is innocent. Please bring him Rano is not well. She needs him.' Ravi 'OH God what have I done? What have I done?'

He took the case back and asked for forgivness from Mohinder. Mohinder knew that it was not his fault. He would have done the same thing. He forgave him but after that he with Rano and Geet left for India where he didn't tell anyone.

Ravi took told 8years old Maan that he and Rakhi loved him and Dev and that he should take care of Dev. He put both Maan and Dev to Bed. He then went to Savitri davi but she didn't talk to him. Ravi ' Please mom just for once listen to me for once. I know I was wrong. I just want you to do one thing for me if you ever saw Mohinder tell him that I still want Maan to Marry Geet.' After that he took his gun out and left for Mehra's house. He without any word shot Mehra first and then himself.

Dadi was cring bitterly 'Those were the last words he said to me but how could I do that. I was so ashamed at what Ravi did that I couldn't get courage to talk to him about Geet so I engaged him to sammera.' Dev ' oh Dadi! Why you didn't tell us this before.' Dadi 'I was afraid that you might start hating you father.' Dev ' We can't hate him . It wasn't his fault.'
