CHAPTER 15
Geet ran from the place ... how she could do this .?... how could she slap maan when she was equally responsible for whatever happened ... she hated herself for doing that ... maan was not at fault in fact its her mistake she shouldn't have allowed him near when she knew that she would go weak infront of him ………………….. she sat in the terrace hugging her knees …………………… she didn't know wat to do now ………………… she didn't know how to face maan ……………….. the poor guy would feel guilty now for her behavior ………………………….. she more did that on anger on her than maan ………………….. she was not angry at maan at first place any one in his place would have done that ………………… it was her fault but still she poured all her guilt on him ………………………
Geet's thoughts were broken when she sensed maan standing before her ……………….. she didn't know wat to talk or how to talk but she badly wanted to talk to him and clear everything ………………………… she stood up still her head held down in shame …………………….
" geet " he called a couple of times but she didn't respond …………………. She rose her head when the pitch of his voice raised but only to receive a strong blow from his hard hand on her delicate cheek …………………………… she placed her hand on the place where he just slapped her …………………… she looked at him in confusion ……………………………….
" this is not because u slapped me but its because u thought that I was taking advantage of u " he said …………….. she just looked at him still not being to register anything after the slap ………………………
Maan closed his eyes to calm himself ……………………… he regretted slapping her but but he couldn't have taken the pain that he saw in her eyes …………………he turned to see geet who was still glued to the same position …………………………he went near her and touched her shoulder ………………………. She broke into tears her legs no more supported her she fell on the floor ……………………. Maan immediately bend on his knees before her and cupped her face trying to control her sobs ……………………………….
" geetu plzzz don't cry ……………. I m really sorry ……………….. I shouldn't have done that " he tried to calm her
" no maan ………….. I know its my fault ……………… I ………….. I m responsible for everything ……………… I took out my anger on myself on u ………………anyone at ur place would have lost their temper ………………. " she said between her endless sobs
" listen geetu I don't mind u slapping me ……………. U have all rights " he said
" no maan I mmm……. I mean the ki……..kiss ……………it was also my fault ………………. I was the one who was not cautious …………….. I m such a ……….such a shameless woman ………" she said in self hatred

" don't say that geetu …………. I I can't imagine my life without u ………………….. I deserve u …………….. we deserve eachother ……………………. know how much u need me in ur life ………………………" said maan
" but its not my life alone maan ……………………. My whole life is my son ……………….. I live only for him ………………….i don't want him to suffer " she said

" maan plzzz I don't want to discuss abt it " said geet ……………………… she was abt to walk away when maan held her wrist and made her near him ……………………she came face to face with him ………………… their eyes met
" maan leave me " she wriggled
" look into my eyes geet …………… do u think I might not love u and sid ………………… do u think I may leave my own life which wanders around u ……………………. Do u think I m so bad that I might hate my cute son whose eyes hold all respect and love for me …………. Do think my love will fade with time ……………………… answer me geet " he said not breaking the eye contact
" maan …..i m………. I ……." She couldn't speak anything……………………. Her heart screamed to trust him …………………... she wasn't strong enough to hold back her love for him ……………………… she hugged him and broke into tears ……………….
Maan knew that she needs some time to accept all this and he could give her whole life …………………… he knew she loves him and they both couldn't live happy without each other …………………… he just hugged her caressing her back to sooth her pain ……………………. Nothing could affect them when they are together ……………………..
They stayed in that position for some time and then maan lifted her in his arms ………………..took her to room where sid was sleeping and made her sit on the couch ………………………. He sat beside her ………………………. Geet still looked at him as if all that was just dream their confession and realization …………………. Maan pulled her close to him and made her rest on his chest ……………………. They both looked at sid who was sleeping peacefully …………………..
Maan took geet's hand in his and said " I promise u that I ll always love u both in the same way and will never let u go from my life " said maan kissing the back of her hand …………………….. she smiled lovingly after long time ………………….. They both were lost in each other and soon dozzed off ………………………..
Geet woke up when run rays fell on her face …………………. She tried to move but was tightly held that is when she realized she was in maan's embrace …………………….. It was difficult to come out of his hold ……………………… she looked at him helplessly but he was sleeping …………………. She poked his shoulder but no response ………………….
" maan " she called silently…………………. He still didn't respond
She tried to take her mobile which was on the table but maan pulled her close to him ……………………… she looked at him in confusion it was then she saw him smirk with eyes still closed ………………… she again called him ………………… he opened his eyes with sweet smile
" good morning sweety " he said
She just smiled……………………… he looked at her face which had some dry tears ………………. He promised himself that it would be the last time he had seen tears in her eyes……………………… he saw the cheeks where he slapped last night it was still red ………………… he kissed her there and said " I m sorry "
She smiled seeing his gesture and said " I m sorry as well "
Maan showed his hurt cheek to her expecting a kiss …………………. Geet blushed and was about to kiss him when they heard sid's voice………………….they both looked at sid who was turning in bed trying to find geet for support …………… maan chuckled ………………. They both went to see him
" we ll sleep some more time and we don't mind u making breakfast for us " maan said once he settled himself beside sid and sid hugged him with his small arms ………………
" but I ………" geet looked confused
" oh ho geetu u don't have to bother much I was just kidding I have servant here ………………. U for god, sake plzz take rest I know u had disturbed sleep last night " he said pulling geet to bed before she could talk such that sid was between them…………………….
