3 - Prince Charming

The very moment Geet fell in his arms, she knew he was her prince charming. Tall, taut, strong, beautiful. What more could she ask for?

She floated on a cloud with him but then the cloud sort of burst when she heard him,

"If you cannot take care of yourself, how do you suppose you will take care of the kids?"

She was going to make a face at him but didn't. He was everything she wanted minus his standoffish mannerism. She straightened up and stepped away. She had hoped it wasn't Maan Singh Khurana, but from the talks she was sure it was him. She wondered how could he possibly have such a beautiful body, yet a black tarred heart. She had heard enough about him that she didn't even give him the benefit of doubt.

"Who said people who fall cannot take care of kids? Where is it written that older people lose their credibility of being an adult if they fall?" she retorted back. He had hit the spot and had provoked her to back-answer him.

"Geet!" he gritted his teeth.

"What? Now you will fire me for falling?" she shot back.

Before the discussion heated up more, Tisha tugged on his hand and he looked down at her.

"Mama" she said raising her hands up so he could pick her up. Not trusting himself with the kid, he walked away without another word, but not before giving her a scorned look.

She was flabbergasted. How could he leave without even greeting the child, let alone pick her up as she hoped. As she picked up Tisha in her arms, she saw him yell at the other two...

"You two, in your rooms! NOW!!!" he commanded without emotion although his voice was raised. When they tried to speak, he cut them off.

She couldn't hold it any longer and thus shouted at him from where she was standing, "Stop screaming at them. They have not had dinner yet."

"Why? It is almost 9 o clock" he bit back, feeling rather irritated she had been hired to take care of them. He somehow knew this was a bad decision the minute he saw her.

"Well, the rules I was given didn't mention the kids cannot wait for their mama to come for them to have dinner together."

She wanted to scream it is a family god dammit! but resisted.

He gave her another scorned look at her before walking up the stairs while saying, "I'm not hungry. Get the kids to eat and put them to bed."

She detested him. She hated him. She cursed him silently. She didn't know why the kids were given to him. He was a retard she thought. She pouted at him and called the kids to the dinner table. While Maan and Geet felt hatred for each other, the kids felt happy. None of the precious nanny's had ever spoken this way to Maan Singh Khurana. And this was going to be fun!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I will be posting 2 more updates to see if I want to continue. I want to make sure it's worth committing writing an entire FF for such a small reader-base.
