Chapter 22

Two days had been passed.There was some improvement in Maan's condition.He couldn't move his body ..But his fingers had lil movement now.When Geet held his hand or put his hand on her body .He started to slide fingers lil bit.This happened first time in four months.

His emotionless face.eyes regained emotions,Gazing Addi on his stupid acts wth anger,Rejecting Geet's given medicines.For this Geet had to adopt same old way focifully open his mouth n throw medicine in it.Reading Geet's words was most important aim of his routine.He became happy ..Emotional or…angry on many things Geet wrote.

Addi tried to contact Pinky .But it was not possible.His network was not catching signals here.So he decided to call from PCO…Pinky was at Khuraana Mension to visit Daddi Maa.When she got a call from unknown number.

Pinky: Yeh kiska phone hai (she noticed number initials seemed known to her.It was STD code of any HP area) Kahi Addi Sir to nahi ( she thought n rushed to terrace)

Pinky : Hello.

Addi: Pinky Its me Addi.

Pinky: Where was u from days ..apka phone bhi nahi lag raha tha..(she shouted)

Addi: Pinky main snow fall ki wajah se nikal nahi sakka.yaha per network nahi hai so I m calling from PCO (Addi gav her reason)

Pinky: Waise kush success milli.

Addi: Success...Pinky mujhe yakeen tha Maan Sir humme jaroor mille gay.Aur hamare Maan Sir mil gaye Pinky ( he became emotional)

Pinky : Maan Sir mil gaye..aur wo ghar kyo nahi aaye..(confused )

Addi narrated whole incidents one by one but not let Pinky knew about extreme of Geet Maan' s relation.But how she saved him.standing alone in front of society .This was clear to her n Pinky had lots of respect for Geet even wthout meeting her

Pinky: Us Ladki ne Maan Sir ki jaan baccha kar bahut badda ehsaan kiya hai na ki unke parivaar per.hum per bhi jo unse itna pyar karte hai…

Addi :Ha Pinky waise jaldi he Maan Sir ko Delhi lane ka inzaam main kar lunga tab tak tum kissi ki kush nahi batana.( he gav her warning)

Pinky: Theek hai Addi Sir ..aap Maan Sir ko jaldi le kar aayea aur phone karna mat bhulna.( she put her phone in her purse)

Pinky turned toward door ..But there she found Pammi hearing her conversation.

Pinky became statue..shocked ..what to do know.Pammi was looking at her wth devil eyes.

Pammi: Pinky kis ka phone tha..? ( she said ironically )

Pinky: wo Pammi A-aa-aaaunty ..o-ooo---office se tha…( she was stammering )

Pammi: Are u sure?( she folded her arms)

Pinky: Ya …I think I should go..see u …She ran toward door

Pammi: Pinky tum khud batayogi ,ya main pushu tumse……kissi aur tarah...( she threaten her)

Pinky : Aunty !!!

Pammi: Aunti nahi Addi..where is he…?(she shouted)

Pinky: Addi Sir ..woh ha...unki Daddi Maan bimaar hai..woh to unko dekhne gaye ( she was searching words)

Pammi: oh wahan per Maan usko achanak mil gaye kyo…(she snatched purse n took her phone)

Pinky : Pammi Aunty ….Wo Maan Sir ka patta laga liya hai Addi Sir ne..per unhone kaha ? ( she stopped)

Pammi: kya kaha…yahi k Unki family ko mat patta challe jo unka intzaar kar rahi hai..Unki ek Maa bhi jo na g rahi hai na mar rahi hai..per us Maa ko patta hai uska beta jaroor aayega uske pass (she started to shed crocodile tears )

Pinky : Pammi Aunty Maan Sir kush tab kahegay jab woh bol payegay ..Maan Sir paralyzed ho gaye hai .Issi liye Addi Sir ne manna kiya k Maan Sir k saare apne kaise react karegay...woh chahte hai k Maan Sir ko woh yahan le aaye tab he sabko patta chale.Kam se kam unke saamne to hongay.

Pammi: Maan paralyzed ..kaise hua yeh..he bhagwaan meri jaan le lo... mere bachchay ko theek kar do ( she shouted)

Pinky: Maan Sir tracking per gay thay...( h she told her whole story how he was saved )

Pammi: aab mujhe patta chal gaya hai main apne bete ko le kar aaungi.

Pinky: Nahi Pammi Aunty..waha se Maan Sir ko aise lana possible nahi...us village k log Maan Sir ko apna maante hai..aur jis family ne Maan Sir ko sav kiya...wahut seva ki hai unhone Maan Sir ki..aur ek dum hum Maan Sir ko le aaye unko accha nahi lagega..

Pammi: Maan hamare bete hai..kon rokega mujhe...woh log

Pinky: Aunty un logon ne Addi Sir ko marra bhi..jab unko lagga Maan Sir ko Addi Sir le jayegay..maine bataya na kaise us ladki ne mazboori main Maan Sir se shaddi ki aur woh sabh log Maan Sir ko us ladki k husband mante hai...to hum aise kaise un ko le aaye (she tried to make her understand but no effect)

Pammi: Mujhe kya karna hai kya nahi don tell me..( she pointed finger in front of Pinky )

Pammi checked Pinky's cell to get phone number.n then put it on Pinky's hand wth full force.

Pinky :Abb main kaise bataau Addi Sir ko ..Is aafat ko main nahi rokk sakti apni position Daddi Maa ki nazron main up karne k liye...she will bring Maan Sir here..n khud credit leggi bechare Addi Sir.usse bhi jayada woh ladki jisne apni lif de di Maan Sir k liye uska kya hoga ( Pinky had tears thinking about it )

Chapter 23

Pammi within half n hour located place from where Addi called .Same village .She was thinking what to do next n Pinky's warning was also in her mind.People may also protest her when she would go to bring Maan.After thinking for long .She made a call.

Pammi:Anju Pammi bol rahi hu mujhe tumse milna hai ( Anju was her friend)

Anju asked that they could meet at KM .But she refused.Anju's husband had a high profile government job n once Pammi saved him in a case of bribe using her reputation as Khuraana.So it was that man's turn.But how it depend on Pammi.

When Pammi reached Anju's home .Her husband Kunal was waiting also.

Anju: Pammi we were waiting for u ..plz hav a seat?

An all sat in sitting room.After some formal conversation they came to real thing .Pammi told them why she was there.She had decided to bring Maan by herselfn As Pinky told her ..how people reacted to Addi ..she wanted policewth her to tackle people.

Anju : Per tum aise kyo laana chaahti ho Maan ko ..jab Addi ne bataya wo koshis kar raha hai ( she was confused)

Pammi: main bi marri nahi ja rahi uske binna ..per Mom ki nazron main apni position k liye aur apne bachcho ka saamne yeh dikhane k liye k I lov Maan as I lov both of them..yeh karna padega.( she shouted)

Anju : But u told ..there was a girl who had to marry Maan ..due to pressure of society n same people had accepted Maan n that girl's relation..uska kya karogi usko sath lao gi…

Pammi: mujhe pagal kutte na nahi kaatta…wo yahan aa gayi to Mom k liye wo sach main Maan ki bibi ban jaayegi…mera position badne ki jagah ghat jaayegi...( she made sad face)

Kunal: But agar Addi ne batta diya..sabh ko.

Pammi: bata de..no problem ..pehle main Addi ko wahan se gayab karugi….aur aise haalat banna dungi k sabh ko lagayga..us ladki ne mere se paise liye hai..usne yeh sabh Maan k liye nahicbut she did for Maan's fortune..but reality is she knew nothing about Maan's status when she saved..( she smiled on her evil mind )

Kunal: Pammi tumko nahi lagta..it is against humanity…a cheap thinking to get rid of that poor girl…( He became sad thinkin about this)

Pammi: oh shut up Kunal…tum kya thay yaad karo…don't give lecture to me…do what u hav asked .( again she shouted )

Anju: Pammi humko tumhara sath denna padega..per Kunal ne kabhi kisi bhole bhale insaan k sath kabhi galat nahi kiya..ek baar galti ki thi jiski sazza hume milli…wo bhi humari mazboori thi ..beti ki higher education k liye paise ki zaroort thi.( had tears )

Pammi: I don know…main kal subha ja rahi hu…arrange every thing till tomorrow..( she left giving her final words)

Pinky tried many times nothing worked..Addi's phone was out of reach.Even she called that PCO..but they were not giving any satisfying response.

Pammi's presence was never noticed in KM…so no body never asked where she was going ...where she was.So she needed not to tell any body.Jst asked Nakul that she was going outside for some work.

Pammi reached Shimla by fligt next day.Kunal arranged every thing for Pammi .Even traced where was Maan in village .Pammi reached near by town to Village.where SP was waiting

Pammi: SP Sir thanx for ur help.( she was in good mood)

SP: Madam Ji karna kya hai..apne bataya na village walon ne apke Admi ki dhulaiye kar di thi ( he said in hindi wth Punjabi accent )

Pammi: Per wo apki kaise karegay …ek anjaan admi milla us ladki ko..jiska koi atta patta nahi…aur police ko bhi nahi bataya... kyo hai na kaanoni juram...(both laughed at that poor girl's fault to sav n protect Maan wthout letting Police no)

SP: Samjh gaya Madam ji..kya karna hai…police investigation k liye hum wahan jaayegay…aur police se panga koi nahi legga.( he run his thinking )

Pammi: Aur ha apko waha Aditiya milega…hamara employee…aap usko kissi bahne se waha se hatta dejiye bakki main dekh lungi..

SP :jaisa aap kahe Madam ji aap hamara khyal rakkho hum apka ( he rotated his stick )

Pammi got it what he wanted n gav a bundle of thousand rupee notes.

In village

Geet's regular check up was delayed by day due take him snow.When weather became good.Leela was ready to wth Geet for check up.But Rano asked her to stay back wth Maan.

Rano: Leela mujhe is ladki ka koi bharosa nahi…Doctor ll surely tell some precautions…agar mujhe na patta chall to yeh unko follow nahi karegi…issi liye sath ja rahi hu…aur bhi kya kya karna hai nahi karna…doctor se push lungi…tumko to yeh ladki ullu bannaa degi…aur bahar beitha deggi.taaki tum docor ki baat na jaan sakko.

Leela: Janti hu..doctor medicine deggi jo Geet khatti nahi…as usual….So she ll not let me know.Jaise last year isko typhoid hua tha..doctor ne inures se kaha injection de do…per isne aise condition create kar di k who injection iski jagah per mujhe lag gaya….na baba na tum he jaayo

Rano told Maan about Geet's check up n reason why she was going wht her.Maan gav a big smile.Knowing about Geet. n both mother n daughter left.unaware of storm coming to their lil nest .

SP had sent an inspector for fake investigation n it became more easy for him as Rano n Geet was no there.

So Addi talked to him.

Addi: Inspector saab aap...kis liye ?

Inspector: Humko report milli hai yahan ek anjaan Admi ko binna police report k rakha gaya hai..humko statement leni hai ...( Inspector shouted)

Addi: But this is not true..woh yahan jaroor hai.kyonki unka accident ho gaya tha..but he is my boss achi tarah janta hu unko...aap chaahe to main apko sabut thay sakta hu...( he said confidently )

Inspector: Sabut yahan nahi thaane chal ka do ...kush peper work bhi hoga...aur us ladki ka statement woh kaha hai...( he asked for Geet)

Addi : wo to ghar per nahi hai..

Insprctor : theek hai uski statement baad main le langay..tum challo pehle...humari job bhi danger main hai..itne din patta nahi challa...tumhare statement se uper ( higher officials) to jawab bhej de.

Even Addi asked Inspector to wait.But he refused.So Addi left telling Leela Mausi ...to stay wth Maan.

Now stage was set. Pammi entered village wth full force.But stayed in car.Many people gathered around place why police was there in such a number.Even before Addi went wth police.

Some one informed sarpanch..so many people reached near mandir where all were waiting.

Sarpanch: Ji SP saab kya baat hai ?

SP:oh dekhiye sarpanch saab..humko patta challa yahan ek Admi ko laya gaya..after his accident.Aab uske ghar walon ko patta chal gaya hai...to hum usko lenne aaye hai...

Pujari Ji :Aise kaise le jayogay...aap jante ho kaise jaan bachai hai ek bechari ladki ne uski...apni puri jindgi de di usne.( Pujari Ji came in front )..waise apko kisne bataya

Now SP started to play his part.As he was commanded .Pammi was succesful sending Addi out of this place..n she gonna distort Addi's image in front of village so that no one would listen to Addi...if he tried to solve matter.

SP: kyo .woh aaya hai na ek Banda ( boy) kya naam hai uska ha Addi usne bataya...aap log usko nahi le jaane dette..to usne humse kaha...aap rok nahi sakte humme.( he warned)

A lady : Maan yahi rahega...hamari Geet ka Patti hai woh...aur agar woh gaya to Geet bhi sath jaayegi ( she shouted)Aur woh sheher gayi hai jab tak wo aa nahi jaati aap Maan ko nahi le ja sakte. ( she said wth full determination)

Geet was not there.This was good news for Pammi.so she called SP from car that do this work as sonn as he could before Geet n Addi came back.

SP: le k to hum jaayegay...agar kissi ne rokka to wo ladki to jail main bannd hoggi he sath denne wala bhi hoga...( he warned)

People started to shout .n was trying to attack police..when SP fired bullets in air.Every body got scared.But they were still protesting them.When Leela got this news ..she phoned Sham to bring Geet n Rano

But SP n police staff focefully put Maan in ambulance.Till than Geet came n she saw ambulance..n started to run behind it.She couldn't shout.

Rano: Geet rukk ja ..bachchay ki soch ...rukk ja...( she stopped when Geet fell at entrance of village.)

She hugged Geet in her arms.But Geet became a statue.no reaction.Many village ladies were behind them.

Rano n Leela held Geet from both arms n brought her home.

Leela: Rano mujhe maaf kar de maine bahut rokka per rokk nahi paayi..pehle Addi challa gaya fir police Maan ko jabardasti le gayi.

Rano: To Addi is liye aaya tha yahan ..meri beti ka ghar ujaadney...kya hoga iska..mujhe patta tha ek din aisa he hogga.

She looked at shocked Geet who was not reacting but became a statue layig on same bed where one day Maan was n same Geet brought lif n colors back .What gonna happen wth Geet now..who would fill her lif wth colors.

Next: Even in seven star hospital Maan was laying lik a lifeless human.Who had started to liv lif due to Geet
