I know she hated Geet...but that child was her Maan's kid...

Hello, hello!
I've been away for a while but it's nice to see how this has moved!
Great parts tanei, Shreya and mrs. msk.

😲 But you killed the baby? That was bold!
And Shreya, you made Dadi a cold-blooded murderer. I didn't expect her to be quite that evil but I am liking it.

I can't wait to see where this goes. I don't have time today, but I will try to come on and add a part or two tomorrow. 😃

Part 60

Dadi smirked at the opportunity she got to be alone with geet and take her out of the way.

Geet is lost in her thoughts. There was a feeling of foreboding in her that something bad is gonna happen but she brushed away the thoughts and walked into the kitchen.

She was putting the kitchen in order when she heard a cough.

She turned and saw dadi standing there staring at her.

Dadi Ma aapko kuch chahiye toh mujhe bata dijiye aap baithiye..

Mere saamne yeh naatak karne ki zaroorat nahi hai..

Ji..

Yeh baato ki tum kitne time se yahaan reh rahi ho..

Geet was shocked at her cold behavior but replied with respect

Ji do maheene se..woh maan..

Oh so do maheene se mera pota tumhare jaal mein phasa hua hai..

Ji..she looked at her shocked

Aur yeh kitne maheena ka hai..she said pointing to her stomach.

Geet put her hand on her stomach and said.. Ji teen mahene ka..

Dadi looked confused..

Ji who main aur maan mile the..

Haan haan theek hai..

Maan kitni der mein aayenge..

Ji suhana ko lane mein teen char ghante toh lag jaate hain..dophar baad tak he aayenge..

She nodded her head looked at her and her belly once again before walking out.

Geet got busy in the kitchen and let go off the talk she just had with dadi.

She wanted to prepare suhana's favourite dishes for her and she immersed herslf in the work.

It was about 12 by the time she finished and she came out of the kitchen looking tired and drained.

She just sat on the couch when she received a call from maan that he would be home in another hour maximum.

She was happy that he would be home soon and walked to her room. She freshened up and she had just sat down when she saw dadi come in.

Maan..

Ji who ek ghante mein pahunch jaayenge..unka abhi phone aaya tha..

Dadi nodded and looked at her.

Aap bahut thaki hui..

Nahi nahi kuch nahi..

Dadi glared at her..

Ji who kitchen mein thi pichle do ghante se..toh bas isliye..aur yeh mahashiye zayaada he active hain..she patted her gently growing belly.

Dadi looked at her incredulously and nodded her head and walked out.

Bilkul sahi time pe aap se mile hai hum..aur chinta mat kijiye bahut der tak who baccha aapko tang nahi karega.. and she smiled at her own devious plans.

She walked into the kitchen and poured a glass of juice and added a pill into it.

Bas kuch minton ke baat hai Geet..phir hum dekhte hain aap yahaan kaise rahengi..

She walked up to the room to see geet sitting with her head resting against the head board her eyes closed and her hand on her belly.

Geet..

She opened her eyes to see dadi smiling at her.

Yeh juice pi lijiye accha lagega..aur thodi der so jaaye..hum bhi apne kamre mein jaa rahein hain..

Geet nodded her head and gulped the juice down in a sip. Dadi smiled at her and walked out.

Geet lied down thinking that dadi had finally started accepting her.

It was about half an hour later that she felt discomfort and a slow pain building up in her abdomen.

She turned restlessly but the pain seemed to grow with each passing minute.

She screamed Maan..but no one came to her.

She tried calling again but her breaths were labored now and she couldn't speak.

In a few minutes she felt dizzy and was surrounded by darkness and her eyes closed.

Dadi came to the room around 1 and saw that her medicine had worked. She was walking back into the room when she heard the sound of the car.

She walked down and sat down on the sofa pretending to be immersed in a magazine.

Maan walked in and saw her sitting alone and suhana trotted along. She held on to his hand tightly seeing her he nodded to her.

They walked in and she greeted them both.

Suhana..aap kaisi hain..

Main theek hoon dadi..she said in a meek voice though her eyes kept looking around. She tugged at his hand and pointed to dadi.

Dadi..geet nazar nahi aa rahi..

Haan bte who thak gayi thi toh so rahi hain..aap unse baad mein mil lena abhi thodi der pehle he leti hain..

Maan nodded his head and carried suhana to her room.

Papa..mujhe mamma se milna hai..whined suhana once they were in her room.

Accha aap change karo main dekh ke aata hoon..

He walked into the room to see beads of sweat covering her forehead and her one hand clutched a sheet and other her suit on her belly.

He got worried and immediately walked to her gently patting her.

Geet.. she remained motionless. He tried again but no response.

He sprinkled some water on her but still she did not move.

He panicked seeing her like that. He didn't know what to do so he lifted her up and carried her down shouting for dadi.

He put her on the sofa and asked dadi to look at her.

Beta inhe..

Mujhe nahi pata..ab..

Beta aap shant ho jaaye..

Before she could finish he had lifted her again and walked out and put her into the car.

He shouted seeing dadi trailing behind..

Main geet ko hospital le jaa raha hoon..

And he drove off..

Part 61

Maan stood outside of the emergency room pacing back and forth..he felt so incomplete and alone...he had a huge fear in his heart..he just hoped that everything was okay with the baby and Geet..he can't imagine his life without the two of them...

He felt guilty for leaving Geet alone knowing how fragile she is in this state...his heart felt so heavy with guilt...as each minute passed by...Dadima sat in one seat smirking...and just waiting for doctor to come outside to tell her the good news.

Suhana sat with Dadima with tears. She gets off from her seat and nudges Maan's pant...he stops and looks down on her...he bends down a little to come to her height..

Suhana: Is Geet aunty going to be okay?

Maan (looks at her not knowing how to answer her question...it was an innocent question but too hard for him to answer..he didn't know what to say...he controlled his emotions and took a deep breath trying to hold his tears in) I don't know...I wish I knew but I don't

Suhana: Don't worry...I know Geet aunty will be okay...

Maan (smiles at her) I hope so too...

Just then the doctor came out with a sad face. Maan holds Suhana's hand and goes toward the doctor. Dadima smirks and slowly gets up.

Maan; Doctor how are they doing? What had happened?

Doctor: Am sorry Mr.Khruana but we couldn't save the baby. (Maan lets go of Suhana's hand in shock...Dadima smirked congratulating herself for a successful plan...) It seems like she had taken a wrong pill...Am sorry...you can see Mrs.Khruana if you want..she is inside

Dadima; Does Geet know that she lost the baby?

Doctor: yes she does..she is awake...

Maan walks to the window of the room with tears. He saw Geet sitting on her bed like a statue...she was dazed, staring out into the space...Maan couldn't move...he felt so guilty for not being there..its his fault..he shouldn't have left Geet alone like that...he slowly moves toward the door knowing how much support she needs...she didn't move or look at who was coming in...like nothing mattered...

Maan sat next to Geet holding her hand..he puts her palm against his face as he cried...she still didn't move...she just looked at him and removed her hand, staring into space...Maan sits on the bed..looking at her..he makes her face him...

Maan: Geet...

Geet: Its over...what is the need for me to be alive now?

Maan: Geet don't say that..you have me...our love

Geet: The baby is gone...

Maan: We still have our love Geet...we have to be strong...Geet...(She just looks at him with a blank expression.)

Dadima watched the whole thing from outside of the room...smiling to herself..

Now that i have taken care of one problem..won't be for long until I kick you out of Maan's life forever...you will think twice before stepping into his life again. Mark my words. I will take everything away from you

Suhana comes inside and sits on the chair next to Geet and Maan. She touches Geet's hand...Geet looks at her...Suhana gives her a teddy bear

Suhana: This is for the baby...baby is sick right? This will make the baby happy...

Geet looks at her with tears...and holds the teddy bear...she looks at the teddy bear with tears...and hugs it crying...Suhana then comes and hugs Geet...trying to comfort her not knowing what had happened around her...

Maan goes outside unable to see her cry in pain like this. He sits on the waiting room chair holding his head looking down while crying. Dadima comes and sits next to him

Dadima; Its okay Maan...I guess it wasn't meant to be

Maan (looks at her) My baby is gone Dadima..why did it had to happen to me? When I thought that I will finally complete what is missing in my life...it got snatched anyway from me...

Dadima: you still have me and Suhana

Maan: but my baby...he is not here with me...we had so many high hopes and dreams..I even thought about the name of the baby...the baby room, toys everything..its all gone (he cries hugging her...Dadima looks ahead in Geet's room with anger...)
