"Chote... poori baat bolo" said Maan.

"There was another page was in her wedding trunk and you and I were going through it a few years ago, and I saw it before you did and I took it" added Sameer.

Maan narrowed his eyes, " Chote why would you do that?"

" Bro, main aapko yeh nahin bata sakta par main aapko yeh bata sakta hoon kay Nitya bua is here to take revenge" replied Sameer.

Maan looked away frustratingly and Sameer calmly continued, " Bro... She wants to hurt Geet bhabhi because she is the daughter of Rajveer Singh Handa"

Maan looked to his brother again, " What?!"

"Because... Nitya bua loved Geet's father... and he rejected her many times saying that she was like a sister to him and nothing more. And she got angrier and angrier... but her final two blows were when Geet bhabhi's father had gotten married and when Geet bhabhi was born." added Sameer.

Maan could not believe it!

" And, the funny thing was that she didn't react as bad with Tej but the thing that made her even more angrier than all was your betrothal to Geet bhabhi when she was born" added Sameer.

" What?! Why?!" asked Maan.

" Bhai she couldn't stand it that you were getting something that you had not even asked for and she had gotten nothing in the end and only an unhappy marriage because of it" added Sameer.

" Thats why her marriage failed... because she never loved her husband who was a simple middle class man and only loved Rajveer uncle"

" But maa said that she was jealous of Geet?" asked Maan.

"Bro, she was jealous because she couldn't marry into the Handa family and Geet bhabhi was easily going to marry into the Khurana family" replied Sameer.

Maan understood now, " So if she didn't get what she wanted... then she is never going to let Geet marry into our family either"

Sameer nodded and Maan continued, " Is there anything that you know?"

" That's all of it bhai, I promise" said Sameer.

Maan nodded and he mentioned, " So shes going to repeat history through using Tej..."

Sameer nodded, " I guess so bhai, thats probably the best reason I could think of"

Maan looked away disgustingly, " This woman belongs in hell"

" Bhai... we all know that she does, par Geet bhabhi isn't safe at all..." said Sameer.

" I know she isn't but Im not letting that bloody dog get away with it" grumbled Maan.

Suddenly, Meera came walking in and she said, " Geet bohot critical hain..." Maan and Sameer shot out of their seats.

Meera kept her emotions back a little, " And don't worry, I handled the situation at home... aur usko abhi hosh nahin aaya"

" What did you say to daarji and her mother and sister in law?" asked Sameer. Meera looked at him intently, " I just did Sam... aur kuch mat poocho..."

Sameer nodded and Maan only swallowed hard, " Meera, please... usko theek kardo"

" Veerji hum sab koshish kar rahe hain... just relax... please" said Meera. " Is it life threatening?" asked Maan.

Meera sighed, " Veerji, I cannot say much but I can say one thing for sure"

" Kya?" asked Maan.

"No major brain injuries to be worried about, but her wrist and ankles are sprained badly..." said Meera. Maan's eyes were wide open and Sameer was shocked, " Meera yeh-"

" Due to the impact of everything, shes finding it hard to wake up due to small head injuries that are not life threatening" said Meera.

" But Thank God that they are not that deep" added Meera.

Maan closed his eyes tightly for a second and tried to let everything sink in. Sameer put his hand on Maan's shoulders, " Bro, Kuch nahin hoga bhabhi ko"

Maan's eyes flicked open and his expression hardened. His jaws tightened and he only managed to say, " I have a plan"

Sameer and Meera exchanged looks and Maan continued," Let's go into Meera's office"

They both nodded and Meera began walking along side Sameer and Maan towards her office. Meera knew that if she asked any questions then Maan would get mad.

They all entered Meera's office and Sameer closed the door behind them.

" First of all, I need a promise from both of you" said Maan. Sameer and Meera nodded, " Boliye..." said Meera.

" Promise Geet and myself that you two will NEVER tell anyone about your relationship, no matter how bad it gets for Geet and myself"

Sameer frowned, " Bro.. aap yeh-"

" Chote..." hissed Maan. Sameer went quiet

Meera's eyes went wide, " Veerji aap-"

Maan ignored her and said, " You two will reveal everything at the right time and give maa's diary to them if something happens to us..."

"And you two will only marry if you get the approval of the elders..." said Maan.

" And finally, DO NOT put your life on danger for us... agar kuch bhi ho jaye Sam, tum mere zimidaariyan lo ge..." finished Maan.

He put his hand out and Sameer could not believe what his brother had made him promise.

" Do you promise this?" asked Maan.

Meera and Sameer exchanged looks and Maan intently looked in their direction.

And then suddenly, Meera and Sameer stepped forward and Sameer took his brothers hands and Meera put hers on top of Sameer's.

" Thankyou" added Maan.

Sameer hugged his brother and said, " Bro I promise kay aisa kuch nahin hoga... "

" Sam theek keh rahe hain veerji, hum dono aapse vaada karte hain" said Meera.

Maan and Sameer broke off of their hug and Maan only said, " Now here is my plan..."

He looked at them with a triumphant look, " We will let history repeat... but with a fresh new twist..."

Sameer smirked, "Let the games begin bro..."

And Maan told them about the grand plan... That was going for a fresh new twist...

Later that day, Meera walked into the ICU and saw that Geet was responding a little bit more to the medicines.

" Dr... Geet kaisi hain?" asked Meera. Dr.Noor smiled, " Dr.Geet is responding to the medicines given to her!"

A small smile appeared on Meera's face, " Thankyou Noor...and is she going to regain consciousness?"

Dr.Noor sighed, " She is responding and let's hope she gains consciousness soon"

"I trust you Noor..." smiled Meera. Dr. Noor smiled, " Thankyou Meera..."

Meera discussed about Geet's case and Dr. Noor only mentioned that it would take time for Geet's ankles and wrists to heal.

" And nothing will happen to her memory... but she will be sensitive for a couple of weeks" finished Noor.

Meera understood but she only worried about how she will handle the situation at home after a week.

Maan sat in the waiting room along with Sameer praying that Geet would be okay and back to herself...

He received many calls from dadimaa and Sameer picked up her call, " Ji dadimaa... abhi hum thore se busy hain... aur bhai ko Shimla jaana hain kisi meeting kay liye..."

Sameer heard the scolding by dadimaa and only said, " Dadimaa main ghar aaraha hoon ek ya do ghante main... but don't worry about bhai"

He talked some more with dadimaa and Maan looked over and signalled him to give the phone to him.

" Hello dadimaa?" said Maan. " Maan bete! Yeh kya hain! Aapko kya ho gaya hain!" scolded Dadimaa.

" Haan dadimaa sorry, urgent meeting hain with the new Shimla clients" lied Maan. He hated lying to Dadimaa and she just paused for a second.

She spoke again and said, " Acha bete, take care of everything"

Maan said, " Ji dadimaa... take care agar kuch bhi chahiye to aap mujhe ya Sameer ko boldijiye ga"

He said his goodbyes and gave the phone back to Sameer. Sameer said his goodbye and shut his cellphone off.

" Bhai are you hungry? Main kuch laa doon?" asked Sameer.

" Not to worry you two! Main hoon naa?" said Meera as she entered with two tiffins. Sameer looked up at her and frowned, " Meera yeh kab?"

" Ghar gayi thi..." said Meera. " Aur kisi ne poocha nahin?" asked Sameer.

" Of course not... maa aur papa are in London and bhabhi veerji just left to the airport to Dubai, since bhabhi's parents live there now"said Meera.

Sameer raised an eyebrow, " Tum akeli ho ghar main?"

Meera sighed, " Oh ho... relax, papa would never leave me alone without me protected..."

Sameer looked away and rolled his eyes...

" Sam stop being a drama queen aur aap dono kuch kao okay? I brought tons of food" replied Meera.

She bent down and said, " Veerji chaliye... eat something"

Maan looked away and said, " I can't eat.. you two eat"

Meera sighed, " Veerji agar Geet hoti to itna ghussa hoti kay aapne kuch nahin kaahya..."

Maan looked up and said, " Meera don't force me"

" Kyun ji? Main kyun force naa karoon? Aap dono ne apni sehat dekhi hain?" replied Meera

Meera didn't listen to Maan nor did she listen to Sameer. Meera forced Maan and Sameer to go to the cafeteria.

"Sit!" hissed Meera. Maan only missed Geet more... Meera's attitude reminded him of Geet's... Meera was right, Geet would have forced him to eat.

Meera opened up the contents of the tiffin and Sameer looked at the food with a big look of hunger.

" Oh God..." whispered Sameer.

He rolled up his sleeves and started to eat and Meera said, " Veerji please... eat naa?"

Maan began eating and Meera brought them a water bottles. " Kaisa hain??" asked Meera.

Maan liked the food and he said, " Its good Meera... tumne banaya hain?"

Meera smiled and nodded, " Ji"

" Wow Meer yaar' its so good! Kis se seekha?" asked Sameer. Meera smiled a little, " Khud se' maa ne sikhaya hain'"

She bit her lip' Sameer noticed it while Maan didn't' Sameer understood when she bit her lip. It usually meant that she had lied'

The truth was that Geet taught her how to make bengan and alloo' Meera only knew simple Rajasthani dishes and not any punjabi dishes.

Maan finished a little and drank down the whole water bottle' Meera packed it up and Sameer said,

" Yaar Meera' make this again will you?"

Meera chuckled, " Acha ji' aur koi farmaish?"

"Nahin' but this is a good start Meera Rathod" smiled Sameer. Maan stood up out of his seat and walked out of the cafeteria.

Meera and Sameer watched as he left and Meera only sighed, "He's completely lost without Geet'"

" I know' par Meera' Maa was right, there was something about Geet bhabhi and Maan bhai' it seems like they were always meant to be" added Sameer.

Meera smiled, "Of course maa was right Sam' but right now we need to give him support and hope that she will be fine"

Sameer nodded, "I know' but never forget Meera, he is Maan Singh Khurana' my elder brother, he would never let anything out of his control"

Meera loved the faith and love he had for his brother' " Im proud of you Sameer Singh Khurana' kaash sab bhai tum dono kay jaisay ho"

Sameer smirked, " Bohot makhan laga rahi ho Meera ji' kya hua?"

Meera rolled her eyes, " Zyada khush mat ho Sameer'" She packed up the tiffin and Sameer grabbed her hand, " I haven't hugged you in the longest time"

Meera blushed, " Stop it' chalo let's go!"

She struggled out of his grasp and quickly stood up. "Chaliye, let me put this into the kitchen area" said Meera.

She walked over to a door over to her left side and called, " Dev'can you please take this over there?"

"Ji madam" said Dev as he took the tiffin from her and Meera brushed off her hands. She walked with Sameer down to the waiting room.

She saw Dr. Noor coming out with a small smile. Meera rushed up, " Noor kya hua?"

Noor smiled, " Meera good news' she has definitely responded to the medicines and koi khatra nahin hain!"

Meera hugged her and Maan rushed up, " Dr' is she going to wake up soon?"

Noor looked to Meera then to Maan, and smiled, " To yeh hain Maan Singh Khurana'"

Maan frowned and Meera chuckled, " Yeh Noor hain' Geet ki achi dost' Delhi se"

" Nice to meet you'" said Maan very formally. Noor chuckled, " Geet ne mujhe bohot kuch bataya hain aapke baray main Mr. Khurana'"

" Please call me Maan'" added Maan. Noor smiled, " Geet ne bohot sahi kahaa tha aapke baray main"

Maan probably could tell what Geet had said about him.

" Acha Maan' Geet theek hai aur aapko koi fikar karni ki zaroorat nahin hain" added Noor.

" Thankyou Dr. Noor'" said Maan with a much more relieved expression.

" She should be regaining consciousness soon" said Noor.

Maan took out his hand for a handshake, " Thankyou for saving my Geet'"

Noor shook his hand and smiled, " Mujhe shukriya mat karein' Upar wale se shukriya karein kay unho ne Geet ko bachaya"

Maan knew that she was right and said, " Unse bhi aaur aapse bhi Dr. Noor'"

" Acha main chalti hoon' agar aur koi questions ho to mujhse pooch lijiye ga" said Noor. They all nodded and she walked off towards another room.

Meera smiled, " Geet aur Noor ne dono ek saath interning ki hain' aur woh achi saheliyaan hain'"

" She is a nice girl'" said Maan as he sat down on the benches.

Sameer smirked, " Is she single?"

Meera shot a look at Sameer and said, " Kya kaha?" Sameer wanted to tease her further, " What grace' aur naam' Dr.Noor'"

Meera narrowed her eyes, " You are going to get killed Sameer Singh Khurana if you mention any other girl besides me"

"Possessive are we?" smirked Sameer.

" Sameer!" hissed Meera.

" Kya?" asked Sameer innocently.

" For your kind information Sameer Singh Khurana' Dr. Noor that you've been hitting on is married!" snapped Meera.

Sameer pretended to look devastated, " Nahin yaar!"

" Shutup Sam' tumhe mazaak soojh raha hain?" asked Meera. Sameer laughed it off and said, " Acha Im joking Meer' relax'"

" You better or else I'll tell veerji to straighten you' right veerji?" asked Meera. Maan didn't reply and Meera frowned, " Veerji kya hua?"

Maan snapped out of his thoughts, " Haan'"

Meera sat down beside him and said, " Veerji, Geet theek ho jayegi'"

Maan only slightly nodded. Meera frowned and was about to say something until her phone started to buzz.

She picked it up, " Hello?"
