The awkward moment when ...

I had another burst of boredom/hyperventilating and procrastinating session for my exam (by counting the bricks on my wall) and thus I decided to go on the VERY first page of this forum. Numero 3180! I basically wanted to see how members reacted when they first saw Maan's coke entry.

But what I saw was so downright hilarious that I actually had to bite my pillow to prevent myself from laughing out loud! Humanity actually petitioned to allow Dev to remain as the main lead!!!!? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 There were people actually BEGGING the creatives to not make Dev a cameo but the M A I N LEAD!

If you are one of those members - please step forward. I just simply do not see how anyone could have viewed Geet and Dev as a potential couple. Didn't you wonder that the possibility of him romancing with the rim of his glasses was more high then him actually looking OVER the rim of his precious glasses?

It makes no sense! Some members were IN LOVE with the so called 'cute' couple. LMAOOO actually made a petition. I can't get over it. I need to breathe! 🤣

For once in my life, I would like to savour a moment of silence to the creatives for NOT listening nor paying heed to those demands. I can just kiss their heads for this!

P.S. If you were once a fan - don't be scared to come forward. I actually want to know what you saw in them before. 😊 *hides chuckle with a polite smile*

Oh ohh...i'm not the one...the day i had heard abt Gurmeet doing this show...i always wanted him to be in the lead...though that time i never thought that we will get to see Ramji in a totally different avatar...

I can never ever think of Dev as the lead...lol...

Yeah boredom leads me to certain places. I do recall blindly going through a random forum for no apparent reason. I did not even know the storyline. I was just ... Bored.

Well basically I felt that an entire thread should have been dedicated to that infamous coke scene. One of the most coolest and unhealthiest introduction ever to be portrayed! Right after I went and got myself a can of coke and re-watched the scene.

Had there been an ocean, I might have also jumped in that too for the sake of jumping in shallow waters.

I was so inspired that I was compelled to grow my beard and allow the man within me to emerge. LMAO KIDDING!

OMG you did that too!?!!? Considering how I only came to know of the show in Sept 2010 (Pee Loon to be exact) and joined IF in Nov 2010 I had missed out on a hell load of activity here.. and one day I actually did the same and saw people loving the jodi :O I was like .. no way .. ahahhh .. can't blame them though .. Maan hadn't entered .. but then I saw people wanting DevEeet even after Maan entered and I was like 😳 ..

You are right, even Guru pointed that out. He was not main lead . It is due to the popularity of his onscreen space with Geet in first few shots that they had to change the story line.

When the show started, I recall walking past it with no interest whatsoever. I simply saw a beautiful girl standing with a mole who wore glasses. 🤣 Then randomly I came across the pre-cap on youtube whereby Maan saves Geet from the water. I was like WHO IS THIS BEAUTIFUL HUMAN that has escaped the lusty eyes of Samira! 😳

I watched the episode. Fainted. Stalked Geet forums and almost jumped through the screen in anger when people still petitioned for Dev after the most beautiful man alive just entered the blooday screen! How dare they! I'm offended ONE YEAR LATER!

Even i want to check that thread now...maybe i'll find someone whom i know...though even i was also not a member at that time...but use to stalk the forum...n i use to see many Dev fans here...who use to praise him n all...

Thank god to that! I almost shiver at the thought of what the show would be like now had the storyline remained initially the same.
