Watching the episodes for the past few days I feel the makers are probably (fingers crossed) getting serious with the show. I'm not sure about Devini but Lucky Preeto definitely seem to be on a serious track now and not a comedy circus anymore. Atleast the last two days are giving that impression...

We've always maintained that Samir Sharma is a good actor... and frankly i prefer Melaine anyday over Nikunj (my personal opinion though). Besides I have someone putting sense to me that every actor is playing their part so why hatred for them? 😉 So I wonder then when I actors and the crew putting in so much effort why are we still hating the track... ONE thing for sure is lesser screen space for Maaneet and the wardrobe for the leads... however I feel these are still petty things that are highlighted just because we don't want Dev or Nandini or Preeto or Lucky on screen hence we try to observe everything but them.

But the main reason I feel is the emotional connection to these characters... We as viewers have never been able to emotionally connect with DEV because of past misdoings and not repenting enough... (And for that i feel maybe Nandini is suffering too 😉) Ofcourse every person deserves that second chance in life but only if truely realizes his mistake and repents for it with all true heart... which we never found Dev doing...

Personally I was in awe of the old team when I had started following the show... for i thought the creatives then had the vision and far sightedness and thus had left options from the beginning itself for them and created a foundation for the tracks to be explored logically later... like Vicky and sameera and maan's past too... but as the creatives changed probably no one tried to carry foward the work of the previous teams... Every one tried to mould the story the way they wanted to... thus the series suffered...

The series that could have been a trendsetter ... could have got star one an increasd viewership... since geet was the only show that got it high trps... the story that could have been unique and classic got butchered and butchered and butchered... Alas ...However, the PH should be greatful to GurTi for had it not been for them i don't what would have been the fate of this show now...

Anyways not cribbing any my question for you today is? Had Samir Sharma been selected to play Vicky would you have enjoyed the track being shown now? Did the team (PH or Channel) make that one mistake of wrongly introducing Dev when they could have easily explored the option for Vicky and let the Dev chapter remain closed then? And probably brought him later with a more thoughtful track?

My answer is a definite YES 😊 Cause so many things could have been taken care of ... Geet not forgiving Dev... Besides I wouldn't even have had prblems with the pyara devar bhabhi relationship too nor the absurd marriage of Nano with Geet's devar... So Let me know what you think?

They showed Maan a ruthless and stone hearted man in the begining, he used to hate women to the core but we still don't know what made him that way? Sameera's name was mentioned couple of times but then what?

Also Maan hates lies and expects100% truth from everybody especially from Geet ( about her past) but he himself never said anything about his own past...whaich seems weird since it doesn't suit with his character.

Yes definitely! I like SS, cause he is an excellent actor...and all the negativity is only because everybody hates Dev;s character.

so had he been Vicky and fallen in love with nandu, we would all have liked their pairing 😆

i think it did azi...i started watching the show from the KH epi...and only recently have i gone back to watch the amritsar track from when GHSP started...and that too with subtitles...and what i see is as clear as day...the emmotional connect that the firt epis made with people is what has lasted...and today it all looks like a blurr of the past...

I agree and wonder if we could ever get a glimpse to Maan's past? Can't understand this though... The PH can bring in 10 different characters but never the ones that the viewers are so desperate to see... All of a sudden we had Maan's sister aanie... NT's bro arjun... Geets entire Amritsar family... Imagine the amount they could have saved bringing in just one solid female character Samira... I mean what do they even think? Even in terms of bussiness why would they not want to bring that one character?... Wonder if they doubt their own abilities to handle a good track 😊

They could have utilized all that money to Give Geet a classy makeover after marrying Maan... Even Maan for that matter could have had good decent casuals.. I really don't understand the team at times 😕

Also I think they never had backup plan when the leads where sick and not enough parallel actors to fill the space.They just ruined everything from the engagement episode.

Thanks... Indeed SS is an excellent actor for that matter even MP , Awhaan, the actress who plays Preeto and the actor who plays mamaji... But then i guess team just failed to utilize them... for that matter i feel even Adi, Pinky, Teji and Pammi were underutilized... Somehow the team always persued the wrong track and side lined the right ones and never utilized the actors to their potential except for GurTi.. Sometimes even we feel that and for that reason i guess GurTi end up being over utilized.

yes...my answer too is yes...me too had this thought before...but then it ws tooo late...

but yes if SS ws vicky I would have thoroughly enjoyed the amritsar track where he is confused and Maan and then Nano ki engagement and Vicky falling for her...which Geet had referred 'Khichadi bababji Khichadi"...then Geet playing cupid for her devar and their sweet devar bhabhi relation...everything would have fallen in perfect place...

its only because we in any situation cannot have any soft corner for DEV for what he had done...the hatred is built up by the earlier CV of the show only

u right that the very first team of CVs who gave birth and existence to GHSP were having a vision in having tracks that could be explored logically and interestingly...but no one from the later once were capable enough to notice their superlative work...I really doubt when CVs are changed...do they really take pain of knowing what has happened earlier in the show...only god knows😕 ...I wish they could have understand that even if they are new to the show, viewers are not...

completely agree with each word of yours dear...sometimes I feel like the original storyline ws something else and not the one we got and loved...may be

Agree Syl... The only thing i cannot fathom is if everything so crystal clear and visible to the viewers how is it tha makers can hardly see that? And that raises 1000s of questions in my mind. I don't beleive its not visible to them...
