Since the day Geet was told 'Congratulation you are pregnant' she was sure she don't want to see the reaction of first person she is will tell about her pregnancy. She thought it's going to be tacky that's why she closed her eyes before hinting and had to open her eyes when Dev couldn't understand what she implied.

But! Good Lord! She never expected This Reaction from anyone, not from even Maan. Dev was baffled, looking around, sweating and blushing like she told him 'Dev you are pregnant'.

This guy is limit.

"Geez Geet! What's the need of yelling? The way you yelled and behaved before coming into my office, people would have heard 'I'm Pregnant with your child Dev.'"

"WHAT?"

"Thank God you've made your relationship public with Maan. Don't you know how office gossip works" Dev was shaking his head now; apparently he shook Geet's WHAT too from his head too.

"You are a nutcase Malhotra, in case you haven't noticed your office has sound proof office-partition and nobody can see what is happening in your office with these blinds closed." She pointed.

"Oh! Yes," Dev smiled sheepishly "Pregnancy hormones always confuse me."

"Haan?" Geet jaw hung open.

"I meant pregnant women confuse me. And when you said Morning Sickness you made my head spin. You know about my Sister In Law and my elder Sister? They both had two kids each and with their pregnancy more than their beloved husbands I bore their hormones as I was adorable Devar and sweet lil bro."

"Awww Dev you are shooo sweet my cutie pie." Geet actually felt sweet with Dev explanation.

"Sweet? Cutie pie? Ok now you are again challenging my masculinity with these girly endearments." He scowled while Geet was still grinning.

Irritated with her grin he continued'.

"And point here actually is what was the need of that dramatized announcement of your pregnancy? And resignation? Is it Maan who does not want his pregnant wife to work out? I mean seriously? Geet pregnancy don't make a girl china doll. Ask me." He flinched when he realized what he was saying.

But this time Geet seemed not to notice his babbling, she was lost in her own thoughts. Dev cleared his throat to say something when Geet said;

"No, it has nothing to do with Maan."

Dev raised his eyebrow at her statement.

"Can I trust you Dev?" Her unexpected question made Dev serious.

"I don't know, Geet what do u think!"

"Actually'''"

"If you are uncomfortable talking about it now" Dev interrupted Geet, "we can have a personal chat outside the office, how about lunch?"

"We can't go for lunch, we have a Lunch Meeting with a client." Geet reminded him.

"Ok! Dinner then?"

"Sure!"

"Good, then pick you up around about...emm... 7 o'clock?"

"7 o'clock sounds great ! you just chose a place and sms me." Geet said while standing up from her chair when Dev nodded in agreement.

She was opening Dev's office door when she heard Dev saying.

"You can trust me Geet, we were friends for 5 long years, maybe not best of best friends but I was your Friend."

She turned back'

"and Geet in my point of view is best friend thing is way over-rated." Dev said whilst he was still being serious but still he brought a smile on Geet's face. Dev and his point of views have this kind of effect on people.

As Geet exited his office leaving Dev alone, he picked up a top English Daily from corner of his table, only to open Page 3 to read a story second time this day.

We wonder what Mahesh Irani has to say about her daughter's relationship with reportedly married man. But just like Sameera Irani and Maan Singh Khurrana, Mahesh Irani also refused to talk about their personal life. But he did congratulate his daughter on film's success saying he is very happy, and he must say his daughter is a true artist to make such a beautiful film."

Dev read the story once again. He knew the social class he is part of is full of sh**. Couples in name of open relationships live lowest life on moral grounds. Wives fight their husband's infidelity with having affairs and drugs. People in greed can go to any level. Money is the biggest reality and has highest regard. But Geet was never part of this crowd, she was daughter of famous Landlord of Punjab and now her brother had his hands full as emerging name in fertilizer industry. But still she had her values intact. He knew these values because his father a self-made person always emphasized on clean living. So were as all his group members at Architecture School, everyone was with decent monetary background but with values instilled, that was one reason why they became friends at first place.

He looked at the picture of Sameera and Maan hiding themselves from Paparazzi and wondered what Pandora Box Geet is going to open tonight.
