Oh Guys😆😆😆😆 I just said all that because I am neither indivisual GC fan or DD fan...I am GurTi / Maaneet fan...

I felt DD could have been a little diplomatic here in answering that..

it is a known fact that one cannot just act with singe co-star for entire career...we all know that GC DD will look for other options...but she would have just said " if a good project comes I will surely concider working with him...but also would love to have expirence working with other actors too"

All i said was with name and fame actors should get used to a lot of things...

and being GurTi fan i was taken back and hurt when i read that blunt comment from DD...

but i am neither offending her nor defending GC and myself...just like DD said what she felt...being a fan i just say my POV😳

Anu, to be fair, Gurti put up with a lot of muck their 'fans' threw at them for a fairly long time without letting it affect their work or their interactions with each other. We've seen their camaraderie on the sets during interviews even when all the gossips were doing their rounds. So it is not a knee jerk reaction by either of them when they decided enough was enough and refused to give joint interviews. Maybe DD wants to spare herself in future from unwanted gossips which were turning vicious. Maybe her family also has a say in this.

All said and done, the girl is still unmarried and just because she is in this field it is not necessary that she has to eternally put up with all the crap that is being written about her. If the fans had not gone overboard, I guess Gurti would have still been open to offers to work with each other. I understand that they dont want to get caught in the extreme reactions of some crazed fans. It is easy to say ignore them but if it goes on and on, it does distrub one's peace of mind. I would say the fans brought this on themselves by not having any restraints and thinking that they know better what is good for the actors in their personal lives when no one can really claim to know them.

Some fans did go overboard with they craizness to link these two...

which has finally resulted in no interview and no future projects... but this field is very cruel one Opti...

When a actor gets negative or positive responce he is alive...the day actors fans stops makig buzz they are over...it is cruel to them but true in the profession they are in

Somewhere I feel in showbiz its very important that actors need to b a bit diplomatic in their interviews ...

See if a SRK or Kajol is asked about this question or if a Kareena and Abhishek is asked about this question or if a Deepika and Rabir is asked about this question or if Askhay and Priyanka is asked about this question ..tell me honestly ..what will b their answer ??Majority will say "It depends on the script...if script is good then why not" 😉😆...but we all know that except for SRK-Kajol or mayb Ranbir-Deepiks none of the other couples will work together as Abhishek ditched Karishma who is Kareena's sister and Akshay-Priyanka had a huge circus in Goa where Twinkle slapped Priyanka as per reports 😆😆...but still in media they all maintain a diplomatic stand in interviews of working together if a good script comes by 😆😆

Just like GC-DD even other actors from SRK to Akshay to ABCD hv gone through lots of accusations in huge numbers ...on SRK's twitter people r ripping him apart and accusing him of sleeping around with Priyanka ...Just imagine his state of condition ?? Was he really guilty of something like this ...We dunno...but its a part and parcel of showbiz and that SRK knows 😆...so best option is press the ignore button and continue with your PDA with Priyanka further 😆

My point is in showbiz any actor will get different types of fans ..some will praise them ..some will worship them...some will b so obsessed that they will go to extreme limits to protect their favourites even if it means sending hate mails to the later party ..some will hv sane mind like most of us who will only appreciate their acting 😆😆...so different fans will react differently ...As a true professional actors GC and DD should learn to give diplomatic stands in newspapers or to the media I feel 😊...

And if fans hv given them the honour of best couple ,then they both need to appreciate that fact in their interviews irrespective of what they do in future ...Somehow I feel the actions of both GC and DD in last few months hv been over conscious and over defensive for obvious reasons and thats not really a good sign of a true professional ...

Mayb they need some coaching classes from SRK or Salman or Priyanka or from TV they need coaching classes from the likes of Harsh Chaaya or Raajeev Khandelwal or Shveta Salve on how to handle controvertial scenarios without sounding over defensive 😃

Anu, I have not seen any other T.V. female actor subjected to as much of vicious rumours as DD was. It is a serious thing to be linked up with an actor who has just been married after 7 years of courtship. People labelled her a s**t and a homebreaker when the poor girl did nothing but act in a show with a guy with whom she shared amazing chemistry. Fans may not give as much support to her pairing with another actor but at the end of the day it depends on what her priorities in life are. Does she want a peaceful life or does she want manic fan following? There is a cost to everything and if one is clear about where to draw the line and decide how much one is willing to lose in order to gain, who are we to question it?

@Opti :I dunno if u r aware or not but her fans are doing no good to her by linking her up with any other random co-actor just to make sure she is not linked up with GC ..😕..My point is why both fan grps of GC and DD need to defend thier favourite actors with justifications and clarifications after their respective interviews 😕

this itself proves that something is not right and so every fan grp is defending

when a GC interview comes ,the first job of DD fans is to prove he is unprofessional..blabla and GC fans go on justifying saying the poor kid was worked up with hate mails for his wife blabla 😆 ...then when a DD interview comes I see GC fans going ahead to prove how she is unprofessional and not diplomatic and then DD fans come to prove how she gave slap to the so called GC's gold award fiasco..blabla 😕😆...Are these fan grps doing any good to either of their careers ...and are GC-DD doing any good giving such interviews which further instigates these fans ??..so the day actors need their fans protection to justify their acts or interviews ,it goes to prove none of them r professional and knows the norms of showbiz 🤔

Jyo, you cant compare the T.V. world with the movie world. Many families still have reservations about allowing their wards to work in the movies but do not have as much reservations about T.V. for all said and done, T.V. is still considered a relatively tamer world than movie although there are extreme cases everywhere. If GC and DD are willing to sacrifice some of their fan following for a more peaceful life, who are we to question it? I feel it is better to be straightforward than give false hopes, even if your fans may not like what you say.

Sometimes over defensive stuff can harm their careers and in this case if GC-DD hv future plans in showbiz ,then diplomacy is always the key I feel 🤔

coming to TV ,take the case of Rajeev-Aamna only ...they hv more psychotic fans than Gurti 😆..when Rajeev got hitched with a girl and then Aamna got hitched with Aftab ,respective fans ripped them apart from both sides but in interviews both maintained a diplomatic stand of how they would love to work together in future as they know how much fans like them 😆...its another story they never worked together but even a false hope makes the fan love these actors and their career remains stable too

if GC-DD hv no plans for a long term career ,then mayb such honest replies wont affect them but if they hv plans for a long term career in showbiz ,then such direct replies will affect them because the general viewers who r giving fame to these actors and might watch their new shows in future will not see their back history but will judge them on their interviews in media ...The respective 1000 fans of each actors cannot really save their careers or take decisions on their behalf na 🤔

Jyo, that is why I appreciate GC and DD's frankness in their replies. Clearly they dont care what innuendoes the fan groups will find in their comments. They can well do without such manic fans. I dont see how they are taking protection of their fan groups who seem to have a mind of their own and act independently. The actors have no control over their fans. So why should they be circumspect in what they say when they know these so called fan groups will end up seeing what they want to see? As to how this will affect their careers it is too early to say that.
