I wonder whether this is Nandu's twisted way of paying Dev by his own coin. Does she know what he had done to her sister by way of fooling her with a clandestine fake wedding and is now doing the same to him? Would she turn around tomorrow and say she never got married to him? If that is the case, then why are Geet and Adi into this convoluted plan? And pray can anyone give me one valid reason as to why they have to get married on the sly? Dev had his reasons because what he was doing was against law. Now we already know the skeletons in Dev's cupboard. Does Nandu also have some skeletons in her cupboard. Is she carrying another man's child and is planning to make Dev the father of that baby? If all this is not true and they just showed us whatever they did yesterday in order to give us a few laughs, I'm sorry to say that I wasn't amused at the immorality of it all. If this is how they can take the story forward, I hope they just wind up the show than torture us in the name of a reincarnation track or a season 2 for clearly this bunch of creatives do not know how to create but only destroy.

I cannot agree with you more here. Yes, the show has to end only because Maaneet's story has seen it all. At the present juncture has it seen it all? Clearly no. We still have unclosed loops. We have no clue as to who Sam is and what relationship she shared with Maan. We are yet to see Vicky. We have no clue of Maan's childhood which had a profound impact on his adult life. If Maaneet are planning to have kids in future this will surely play a big part in what sort of father Maan will be. But for us to see all this the show in its current form has to continue post revamp too. Now is that an option? If it is I would wholeheartedly support it. But then we are told that post revamp the current show cannot continue. It would either be a reincarnation track where Maaneet will be reborn so exploring their full potential would only have to be in that new story and not in their current birth or a season two where again the current story is left untouched. So your claim that you want to see their married life falls flat when you also say in the same breath you are supporting the reincarnation track. By the time they get to the point of marriage in the RC track, the show could well be wound up if they do not get the necessary trps and believe me if they take that track the way they are taking the current one, it will meet its doom sooner than later.

I dont wnat show to end with a lame excuse of revamp or PH not interested or fans r too demanding ..blablabla ...those kiddish excuses and unfair on the part of such a huge fan grp . ..

I dont think it is a lame excuse if the PH and channel are not on the same wavelength. If one wants continuance and the other doesn't, you can be sure of more disasters like yesterday's episode as one will be undermining the other all the time. I have seen it happening in other shows. So it is not all blabla. If it is give me one instance when it was otherwise.

So I want them to not only keep the show but bring a overall change in its plot and CV team post revamp ..

I will support this but then all the demands that fans seem to be making is 'we are willing to put up with anything. Just give us Maaneet and we'll take anything'. Any criticism of the show is considered negative as they fear that channel will close down the show using viewer distaste as an excuse. So many fans are living in fear of expressing their true opinions lest their show be chopped off. Whoever said 'consumer is the king' has not watched Indian T.V.shows.

One reason why I was in favour of RC track was because of this ..to get rid of this old CV heads like Mahesh Pandey ..because I knew a fresh new start will always bring in fresh new CVs and we will get rid of Devini too ...

Jyo, I dont buy that reasoning. How can you be sure that with a fresh new start the CVs will change? As long as the PH and channel are fine with the current bunch that is not going to happen. Did we n ot shout over our roof tops to change Mahesh after the Amritsar fiasco and the ruin it brought to Maaneet's character? Did they listen? As RC was originally an idea floated by Mahesh, they may well keep him to execute it.

Am a silent reader posting for the first time.

I had been following Geet from almost the begining, have gone thru all the ups and downs with the serial...but what they are showing now leaves such a bad taste in my mouth that I just sat back to think why they are doing so. Here's my reasoning :

The channel wants to shut down Geet so the best way to do so is start showing crap, once the viewers start feeling very very disgusted then it will be very easy for them to take it off air.

Till date when ever there has been a rumour about the show ending, we fans start calling the channel and pour out our heart requesting them not to end the show. So they give us assurance that the show will not end, but then the crap that they dish out becomes very hard to digest. Its their way of getting back at us fans.

I have always felt the the current writters do not hold any respect for women. They are giving a wrong message that women are use and throw items, they dont have feelings, dont have any rights, can always be used as a doormat.

The story line of Geet in the starting was so good that I used to tell my friends and cousins to watch it, now I am scared about the message that the serial is dishing out.

Watergirl, welcome to the club of lamentors for the show. Yes, they are deliberately showing crap so that they will have a perfectly good excuse to wind it up. So one is damned either way. If you keep quiet, they will wind up the show. If you demand it should be continued then they will give us more such crap with a vengeance that we would be wondering why the hell did we get hooked to this show in the first place. So we have to decide how much damage can we tolerate.

Opti, the thought about Nandini paying back Dev in his own coin was a thought that flitted through my mind too, not that this thought had any leg to stand on. That's what I posted yesterday too.

With this set of those responsible for the story, screenplay, et al being around for so long with no imminent sign of change, I am inclined to think that they are taking the story forward with a goal in mind.

They will definitely show the *victim* being strong and rallying around to the cause of other similarly situated *victims*. The only difference would be that the *victim* will most likely be Dev Singh Khurana, a man, not Geet Handa, a woman.

And, guess what! They will find misogynists flocking to their TV sets, fighting for the remote and tuning in to Star One at 0930 pm, every week day, and contributing to their TRPs. They are not marketing the show to the audience that will provide them the TRPs.

PS: Are there excuses of actors' illness floating around this time around too?

Saj, I have been quite hesitant to voice this. But, I must do it at least once.

In my opinion (and I reiterate that it's *my* opinion), the lead actors should have put their foot down and demanded that the script be changed. Those in the GHSP team who cannot envisage a 25-minutes show without a parallel track of a Dev-Nandini love story can very well have it, but without any interactions and inputs from Maan and Geet. If those folks want to run a parallel show for Dev and Nandini, situate them elsewhere -- Gurgaon, Canada, Pluto (apologies to An) -- and run their parallel track. As to linking the two parallel tracks, remember that they are supposed to be parallel. And, as per the last classes on Geometry I attended, parallels do not meet.

Usha, so we have the tremors before the earthquake, the earthquake itself and the tremors after the earthquake.😆 I am inclined to demand that they release the script of the episode on their facebook page at least half an hour before the episode. Then, we can make an informed choice on whether or not to seat ourselves in front of a television set that is tuned into Star One.
