Awesome Episode -- Geet HSP with Eva (08/25/2011)

Here is my little take on the episode ... 25th Aug 2011

First of all the episode was just too wonderful... Superb performance by Gurmeet and Drashti.. I am just speechless with their talents and the dialogues and the way story is moving...

Maan is in his room not sitting straight as he usually does in full command mode but he is reclining... his body just going limp.. As if first time in his life he lost the control of the situation and just does not know what to do? He is in total turmoil and anguish... deep in thoughts...

Knock on the door brings him out from his deep abyss of thoughts... he turns his face to look at Geet holding the puja tray with burning lamp and pot of water. She does not barge in the room as she usually does with her blabber... no she is at the door seeking the permission to enter... He is not expecting her at all... the surprise shown on his face... she is still standing there.. and he slowly pushes the chair and gets up his gaze fix on her..

She walks in slowly her eyes void of any life... she comes and stands in front of him.. he is watching her movements.. She comes and tells him not to be afraid of any manipulation, as she has no intention of doing that. She is totally serious and no more that bubbly Geet. She very softly puts her proposal telling him to listen her out and only if he wishes he can do it otherwise there is not need..

Without a word Maan keeps on looking at her tear filled eyes.. His heart is in more turmoil as he knows that he is causing her all these tears and sorrow for which she has nothing to do. Geet tells him that he must be aware that Dadima has taken oath not to eat anything and as she just came out of sickness they need to take care of her health. She says for her they both need to come to some understanding.. She adds please feed me the water and break my fast that way they can take care of dadima. He looks at her still not ready to do. She pleads just feed me the water. It is not going to bind you to me. Just feed me as two drops of water you would give to any stranger but it will be my blessings.. He keeps on looking at her teary eyes.. she is in control of her emotions. She does not break down in front of him to make him feel guiltier. The tears are glistening in her eyes but she does not let them roll down. She keeps on giving him steady gaze and looks in to his eyes so that he can read the genuineness of her request. She stands there and lets him decide what to do..

Here comes dadima and nando on the door looking hopefully at Maan. Maan looks at that and tries to understand what Geet is trying to say.. He is still hesitant ... his heart still not in the act. Once again he looks at dadima's pleading eyes and just gives in as he knows that he has to do this. For Geet he is her husband and she has a right to ask that of him. But she did not come to ask his favor for herself but for the sake of dadima.. his dadima whom she loves as much as he does.. He then lifts his hand takes the pot of water and feeds her the water. She takes the few sips and looks at him.. he puts the glass back on the tray and walks out..

Geet stands there. She knows that he has not done this for her but for the sake of dadima.. She has no joy of getting her oath fulfilled. She simply kneels down and touches the place he stood and reverently touches the ground and takes the dust of his feet and touches to her forehead,. She may jest around and be bubbly but when it comes to honor and revere her husband she does it with all her being. While he was there she did not bow down and ask for his blessings, as she would do normally. As she knows that if she did he would feel trapped and would not like it... So when he leaves the room, she touches the ground where he stood. She simply worships the ground he walks on... Dadima and nando were the two witness to see the devotion of Geet for her husband.

I am not going to elaborate too much on the scene of Nando and NT.. Well Nando has already started feeling for Dev but she has not realized it but when she emptied her anguish on his chest and he comforted her she felt more familiar with him. She still does not believe that she is in love with him as her prudent mind will totally reject that idea. But NT knows better. She has keen eyes to look for all this. She has manipulated her way in the Khurana's household by claiming to be a wife of Dev but she knows she can never get that rights from Dev so she is going after a person whom Dev loves.. so the scene with Nandini to make Dev come after her in open and she can go cry it over to Maan Veerji..

But when Nando entered the scene she was shown as really witty and independent girl who went after Dev thinking he is Maan who made her sister suffer so much and now Nando is falling in a trap of NT and is turning in to a crying pathetic person.. Where is that witty person who used to take care of the problems?

Now it is Maan's turn to respect her privacy. He returns the same courtesy. They are now total strangers to each other.

Geet is seated at her dressing table and her heart full of pain while undressing... she is pulling her bangles and putting them on the dressing table.. Maan softly walks and stands at the door. He watches her and her sad countenance... she is in so deep sorrow that he does not feel anything for her. He has sucked the life out of her and he knows that and for that he is suffering too. He draws her attention and knocks on the door... she does not listen at the first knock and then softly she lifts her eyes.. Her body language so life less.. her eyes full of sorrow and empty of any emotions.. He says from the door that he wants to talk to her.. She softly nods her head. He takes couple of steps to come in the room. She does not look at him. She is still seated on the table with bow head hiding her face behind the curtain of her hair.. He looks at her dejected form.. It pierces his heart too but he just cannot connect with her pain. He knows that he has caused it and he is so sorry for that but it just does not feel her being in his being.. He tells her his voice heavy and full of pain that he is so sorry to cause all this pain to her and he really did not mean to do it or that it was not intentional. He says that he knows he is married to her as he has been told but he cannot feel it.. He says for you their relation and their marriage is real but for him it is a story sometime narrated by dadima or Dev or sometime he could read that in her silence but for which he cannot feel being a part of. He requests her to understand his pov and was about to walk out seeing no response from her. As Geet was sitting there listening to him with bowed head and without a single response..

But Geet did take all what he said she understood his pov perfectly... before he walks out he heard the soft words .. It felt good.. he stops at the door and turns his face to look at her. She softly gets up and stands where she was now facing him. He now totally turns to look at her his eyes full of pain and brows knitted. Though it almost killed her to listen him to say that he does not feel anything for her and that he cannot accept her as his wife though he tried hard ... with a tearful smile she also had to tell him what he meant to her. She says for you our relation may be like a story told but for me your name is like a second name of God. I may forget to say the name of God when I get up in the morning but the name Maan is always on my lips and in my every breath and in my being. The tears are streaming down from her cheeks. That disturbs him a lot seeing her pain but he just feels helpless. She sees that and says I only told you this casue like you I also wanted to tell you what I felt. When Maan heard the declaration of her love and devotion he had tears in his eyes... He just looks at this woman standing in front him listening to him say that he does not feel for her but still telling him that he is God for her. Maan was in total anguish.. He understands her love but feels so sad that he simply cannot return her love at all. He simply cannot go and take her in his arms and wipe those big tears rolling from her eyes... He just cannot go and comfort this lady whose whole universe has shattered because he forgot his ties with her.

Maan listens to her and knows somehow that she has made sincere promise. He stands there looking at her. She wipes her tear and gives him soft smile.. he turns to leave the room without a word but at the door he just stops... and turns his head to look at this lady who is suppose to be his wife. He keeps on looking at her soft teary face... his heart is too heavy but he walks out.. Geet stands in her room with a teary smile.. she mumbles softly I will wait... I will wait even up to my last breath..

Maan had all this misconception of Geet being stubborn and childish and manipulative taking advantage of Dadima but he has never seen Geet so matured... so serious... so considerate. He had always assumed her to be a total spoil brat and he always had insulted her thinking her as a silly and worthless and irresponsible girl but this Geet just blew his mind away.

A determined woman who would not break her fast without him though she was too weak to walk

A considerate woman who came to him for the sake of dadima to plead him to break her fast

And a woman with a deep understanding who being his legally married wife takes the oath of not forcing her rights unless he gives it to her.

He was amazed at the strength of this woman whom he thought had no decent values of anything.

The admiration already came in his heart without his knowledge. Gradually he will be able to see the good nature of this woman, which was hidden from his eyes by the manipulation of NT. Without his realization he will start to appreciate and like what she does to make him comfortable and take care of his every need.

OMG this two talented actors have made me sobbing with their performance.. Watching the Geet's bedroom scene makes me cry over and over again.. my tears just flows on their own accord...

Such a beautiful tender and emotional episode.. Gurmeet and Drashti were just fantastic with their body language with their expressions of grief and sorrow and anguish and their perfect dialogue delivery with perfect modulation of speech.. Gosh when Maan says Geet I want to talk to you how heavy and sad his voice was... hearing that makes you cry... Right amount of regret and and hurt and anguish... I always wonder how these two could be this perfect in their portrayal... phenomenal...

Even Nando and NT were great with their expressions.. NT was great with her accusing speech trapping Nando...

Super fine episode...

Precap is also interesting... NT still wants the Khurana's money what is she going to do?? Let's see how Geet deals with that...

Promo of ME was great too.. so this week end we have 1 hour of Geet. Let's see how good is that...

In the last scene today ,MSK before leaving turns back and looks at Geet 😳..Its an indication that even though he told Geet that he is not feeling anything for her ,somewhere down the line ,he does hv a soft corner in his heart for her which he is not ready to accept at present or else he would not hv turned back to watch her reaction before leaving 😉..A man only turns back to see a girl ,if he feels something for her in his heart ,otherwise not ...
