Shali, I guess Geet is letting Naintara say all that because Geet may have told MSK that she will now not force him to accept their relationship or her and that she will wait until until he admits it himself. So, that's probably why she does not answer, but looks at MSK. That's only a guess!

Yes I agree he decided to go ahead with Teej festival and so now its his duty to break her fast but here once again the turn of events were such that it made him move away from Geet once again ;Why Geet needed to tell Dadi about MSK starting to feel for her so soon?? ;She could hv waited for some more time na 😳 ;Its when MSK hears those words from Geet's mouth ,he feels better not to give her false hopes by breaking her fast

Jyo, when Geet talked to Grandma about MSK starting to feel for her, that was a daughter talking to her mother, not a wife talking about her husband's feelings in the presence of her mother. Was she wrong? No. Put together everything that happened since MSK got Geet back into the house from Geet's perspective -- the shirt, him calling out for her in the night, MSK admiring her, the sindoor scene in the bedroom and then the wound-apology-balm.

I agree that MSK doesn't like being forced to accept things. Geet, in fact, voiced this herself when Grandma hatched a plan with Mr Tandon to manipulate MSK into letting Geet work on the project. In the beginning, no one told him about his marriage. They only spoke out when, due to lack of knowledge, he lashed out at Geet and accused her of being a golddigger with no morals. Then, subsequently too, they spoke out when events unfolded too fast in which to remain silent would have been further detrimental -- Geet decided to leave KM (which most of us don't fault this time around) and MSK lashed out at Geet publicly during the Teej festival. Have there been other instances that I may have missed where Grandma and Dev have spoken to him about Geet?

But, again, MSK cannot be blamed. He is reacting to situations that are unfolding with dizzying speed. Had he not overheard that particular conversation, things would probably have been different.

And, his introspection and his public rejection of his relationship was based not merely on his dislike of being forced to do something, but also on a more fundamental dislike for falsehoods and deception and, unknown to him, an underlying concern of not hurting Geet. If ever we had the Hoshiarpur Maan introspect about the situation, he would have listed only two reasons -- the dislike of being forced to do anything and the dislike for falsehoods and deception. He was not bothered much by how events and his actions would affect Geet. But, this MSK, amnesiac though he is, has unknowingly brought in a third factor for consideration during introspection -- how his actions affect Geet.
