Since last few months there have been lots of speculations surrounding the popular Star one show Geet Hui Sabse Parayi with reports coming out about its End post Star One's revamp .

So far even though no channel or production house sources have confirmed this news (but rather denied it) but all we can say is there is no smoke without fire and this is not the first time the news about this show's end in October have come out .

Star one post its revamp have decided to go for all new shows and ending all their existing shows among which Geet Hui sabse Parayi is one of them and since Articles about the show's end have started coming out again ,we in spamdomain thought of voicing our viewer's opinions directly to the channel regarding why their favourite and the most popular show on star one should continue to run even after the channel's revamp post October .

Here is what some of the viewers of the show have to say regarding this sudden news and rumours about show's end..

Sinister Handa poured out her emotions to us and Said " For many of us, Star ONE and 4 Lions is now synonymous with Geet. You guys have given us so many heartaches and headaches over a mere show that needs/needed nothing but some good romantic writing and direction that we shall be prompted to think twice over anything you guys produce/showcase again.Long story short, we are grateful for the show and we hope you guys shall have the business acumen to make more hay while the Gurti sun shines to our advantage! Keep the show on, guys! We are with the show no matter what! Star Desh and Gurti on GHSP... they belong together!We Geet fans look forward to the new revamped Star Desh with Geet- Hui Sabse Parayi!"

Deepika a married woman too echoed similar sentiments and told us "I am so disappointed to see the show ending rumors again...Just when the show is gripping and the story telling is more or less flawless...We are seeing Maan struggling to come in terms with his life and a wife to the boot...Geet the silent supportive wife taking all the frustrations and verbal lashings thrown at her by her love...I am so rooted and hooked to the show. GC-DD are giving their best to portray the pathos and guilt of their characters with aplomb..It would be a shame to lose such an asset , if the show shuts shop .They are capable of giving even a cliched track like Reincarnation an extra kick...I just want GHSP to stay on air ... I cannot imagine my day without it :( "

Another married woman Anuja too poured her heart out and told us "Well regarding the show ending news i'm completely gutted...I cannot imagine how i'll pass my day without watching and discussing the show...With the current track the show has once again generated interest among the viewers. Just shows that with little creativity, the makers can do wonders. Memory loss idea is cliched and has been shown to death in other shows but here it looks different because of the way its executed. Similarly, a reincarnation track although cliche can be treated differently too. The creative team and the actors are capable of making ordinary look extraordinary...Also GHSP has never been an out & out youth show so its much easier to fit it into the revamp which is going to target a different set of audience.

Sajani who is die hard fan of the show told us "GHSP is one show which does have a potential to run for another 6 months and more given a direction,script and plot...they have an ensemble of good cast and all they need is writers who can rack their brains and come up with good story line...how hard is that...ending news has been doing rounds from the time the show started...and we have yet another round of articles and more articles...ending GHSP is not the only option...we hears stories abt a reincarnation track and if that is what it takes to keep the show on air ..then fine we will go for a fresh story and fresh romance with the same leads...for the past month the story ,plot and acting and direction all has become gripping and it has become interesting then why this ending news doing the rounds when the show is becoming gripping again...i hope you come out with a official statement regarding the future of the show post revamp and really wish GHSP is part of your revamp...it has all the flavors from romance to drama to family to twist s and tales which will cater all sections of the audience not just youths ..."

A furious girl Jhan lashes out on the ending news and tells us "I am appalled. Frankly my dear this is beyond pathetic.It is extremely clear that this show has a loyal fan following. It would be foolhardy to lose these fans at this juncture when you are trying to change your image. No matter what you do you should always have a fall back. The channel would do well to keep Geet on the air as long as it can. Their biggest problem is not the quality of the programming, it is the reach of the channel. So they need to fix that before they can start dreaming of high TRPs.There is no guarantee that the kinds of shows they are introducing are going to rake in the TRPs unless the reach factor is fixed. There is no evidence of that being done so far. Geet is a good show that has a loyal audience which has stuck with it through thick and thin. They are willing to even watch a reincarnation track and go through the pain of their favorite couple dying to keep the show alive. The TRPs are also climbing because they have a good plot, awesome actors and superb execution. If I were the channel I would keep this show on the air.The beauty of Geet is that it can be adapted to suit the needs of any segment of the population. They say "Do not put all eggs in the same basket". So star one needs to realize that it needs to have a broader selection of programming for people to watch - something for everybody.. It has a primarily young audience but also is looking to attract families. So keeping Geet on the air would be a good compromise because young and old alike watch it. "

Show's popularity can be judged with the kind of age-group fans it has from teen girls to girls in mid 20s and 30s to even housewives and mothers since we got a furious message from a 55 year old mother Jaya who says "This is a show I really enjoy because they show a girl who is strong and will stand up for her rights. The show is never boring. I had stopped watching towards the end of theAmritsar track but started watching again and am loving it so far. Excellent blend of drama, romance, comedy and suspense."

A young student Shreya Chopra very sincerely tells us "Sir/Mam,I am here to adress a issue a very important one to me but might not hold that much value to u. Mam this reagarding the SHUT DOWN of the show GEET-HUI SABSE PARAYI..Mam its heart wrenching to know that STAR ONE in its face for revamp wants to end one of the most loved show on their channel.Not only this but a view at the officail GEET pg on FB will show u the way the fans have reacted to this news all across the world. So mam on behalf of all the viewers i would like u to reconsider ur decision of ending the show and if the PH has a problem with the track then we viewers would love to see maan geet even in a Reincarnation Track..Hope this small gesture counts and To be on practical side mam i would not hesitate to Get Star one off my channel list if the show ends..so Pls look into the decision once again and we hope that u revert ur decision and GEET is here to stay..Thanking You,.A Loyal Geet Fan..

Premi Handa says "Its unfair to end a show which has such a great fan following. Our day starts with Geet and Ends with Geet. If not a continuation, Give a Fresh track after Reincarenation. I dont have a problem untill Gurmeet and Drashti play Maan and Geet..."

Asma Ismail says "CV's, Directors, Producers... who ever will read this kindly keep in mind that by ending this serial you will not only only lose, fans, viewers infact you will lose the whole of Maaneetian and Gurtian's. If you have run out of ideas then you could check the India Forums website where you will find lots of Fan Fictions, Short Stories, One Shot etc.. where you could pick up some story line. Infact this is not the 1st time we are coming across this particular news. We feel that whenever you guys run out of ideas you tend to end the serial or come up with vague, dumb ideas of reincarnation track just like you did some time back. I mean how could you even think of reincarnation while the current track itself is not over. Also to increase the TRP's you had added a dance track of Maan n Geet which was nowhere near our expectations. And now since you folks are running out of ideas you wish to end this show. The most touching comments comes from a 20yr old girl Ishpreet Kaur who says "Ish Gurti Geet Hui Sabse Parayi for me is not just the portrayal of characters,reciting of a story on screen,it is a whole journey that I m living through the medium of the show. The show came to my life last yr and I consider 2010 as the most cherishable and memorable yr of my entire life of 20 yrs.The show which speaks about the struggle of a girl and the most purest and heavenly love saga of Maan-Geet. The story with which I move ahead happily in my life.This may seem stupid to people but I complete my college assignments and all my work before 9:30 p.m. at night, I never eat during the airing of the show fearing the fact that I will miss an emotion on Maaneet's face, I never take phone calls during the show so that I don't miss the precious moments in the show.
I just don't love Maaneet, I adore them, I look upto these two.Moreover I told my parents to get me a guy like Maan Singh Khurana to marry. The show, the characters have made a deep engraving on my and millions of hearts.I want the show to run for many yrs ahead and frankly speaking I always dreamt of a "Reincarnation Track" for Maaneet because their Love is par Birth and Death.Don't axe my and millions of hearts by axing the show.This comes straight from the core of heart of a 20 years old girl who breathes,lives becomes happy and sad with Maan-Geet.

Another young girl Shona Malik echoes similar sentiments in anger and tells us emotionally "I am still under the shock of the news of GHSP ending in October, whereas we all were very much positive after a confirmation by the channel that GHSP is here to stay , my views are as follows
1, Revamping a channel doesn't mean that all the existing shows should be axed, either they are doing good. as revamps are experiments which might not give the expected results, so in that case the channel should keep the already running shows as a back up .. 2, A channel should have a balanced mixture of all the elements, a good channel should focus on all type of viewers , so it should have shows like, family shows, youth oriented shows, period plays, reality shows, comedy shows etc, i dont think a channel consisting same type of shows can work well. 3, Why should GHSP should be continued? because millions of people are attached to the show, and this show has given them the most amazing pair of Maan and Geet , people want to see more and more of them, and they have a huge fan base who can do anything to see them on TV, so closing such show is not a smart move also miffing so many fans on the ,launch of a new channel will be no less then a bad omen for the channel, the curses of GHSP fans will never let the new channel flourish... 4,If its difficult to continue GHSP with the new shows, they can come up with its season -2 or the reincarnation track, its a smart move to continue the old hot shows as these shows will make sure that viewers will tune into the new channel to watch the old shows and with this they can knw about new shows as well,, like we watch are favorite show on a channel and the promo of some other show grabs our attention and we watch the other show too.. also few people watch a show only because it comes before or after their favorite show. so GHSP will help to hook the audience of start one to the new channel "

Another fan Anshu too is shocked and tells us " is indeed shocking to read about the show ending!!!! Geet has a beautiful story, the current track is doing extremely well so why does the channel want to end the show? Revamp does not mean all old shows should go. A better strategy is to make the new channel a mix of old and new so old viewers are retained. Geet is a family drama which provides good entertainment with Maaneet as it's USP. SO must keep this show even after the revamp. it will actually help it's other shows as well. I am hopeful the channel will take viewers' feedback seriously and not end the show. It will be big loss not just for the audience but more so for the channel and the PH."

This is not all ..There are several such comments still doing the rounds on facebook walls and other social networking sites echoeing similar sentiments after hearing the news of their favourite show's possible ending .We dunno whether to call it maas hysteria or madness or just plain unconditional love for their show but this is the first time we have witnessed such emotional outburst coming out from the fans of all age groups .

We are extremely sorry that we are not able to put each and every comment here in our article as then this article might never end but all we can say is there is real mass hysteria going on every social networking site where fans r not only demanding answers from the production house and channel but are also hoping to see their favourite show Geet Hui sabse parayi and their Maaneet and Gurti on air post channel's revamp too in whichever form they come ..

We hope that this small attempt by us of trying to voice out the opinions of the common viewers could reach to the channel and production house and they give its viewers a proper clarification and hopefully a good news soon ...
