I too love Geet's strong characterization from the beginning of the show...she's always a fighter...

& Maan fell in love with her for this trait of hers...but post wedding I think she's more dependent on Maan...may be she feels that this's the way to show her love & respect for her hubby...

But the evil should be paid back on her own coin...come on Geet ..fight out for ur love ...we r with u..

I love this one particularly...Maan told Geet once in HP-

"tumhare yeh kabhi na harne wale baat tumhe sabse alaag karti hai Geet'...

I think geet will answer her but thing may go like KBM sequence... at that time also she tried to fight back but NT taunted & insulted her but her words were true ... this time as well ... Geet may say that she is khurana bahu which is a fact but NT's saying that Maan doesn't recognise her as his wife is also a fact which can affect her like previous incident...
And in the promo itself NT says that why she is calling herself as khurana bahu which means that Geet has asserted her authority but NT gave her a big blow by saying the other truth which she cannot deny...

yes i totally agree with u.. I can't bear to watch the silent and weak Geet. I want to see her fighting for her rights and ignoring Maan. She should just stay away from him and I want him to yearn for her.. to look for her and feel the importance of her in his life.. all he goes now is the angry mode and thinking how can he be married to her? can't he feel her love? or him falling for her.. they have shared so many good moments and how come he can't feel it? even if he can't remember , he can actually feel for her right.. I just dont know what are they planning and hope they don't ruin or give us false hope as I always see news saying that we are going to see him changing and feeling the love..BUT NO he is CHANGING for the worst... He Just goes on HUMILIATING her every chance he gets...Looking Back at the office tracks, though he was dusht dhanav , we can still see him falling for her and needing her all the time.. but now we dont get to see that.. we only see him humiliating and ignoring her.. I wonder how Geet can remain silent hearing all this? She has to do something seriously!! Like just ignore him for once and just keep a distance from him..

Oh this kind of reminds me of the blood-sindoor promo back in November I think. Where NT is insulting Geet, and Maan applies his blood as sindoor...

I feel the same way about the first video. I want to see something like that from Geet, not more tears. I don't understand why she is taking NT so seriously anyway.

As for the KBM, her and Maan's relationship was kind of up in the air at that time. They were engaged but it was only the next day that he actually proposed marriage to her, so you can understand why NT's accusations and words got to her. Plus, NT was talking about her being an unmarried mother. Now what could she say that would hit such a sensitive nerve with Geet?

I am curious to know...

I too felt that she took a bit of a backseat after marriage, but I justified that at first as her needing to salvage her delicate pregnancy, so not going to office, depending on Maan etc. She did try to assert her independence again in Amritsar. It was just masked as comedy.

But she was just brilliant when they were living in Dadaji's house! That was Geet Singh Khurana at her strongest for me, both taking the initiative to support them and the way she handled Maan. I need to see more of that Geet here, fighting for her man! Like you said, we are with her! 😃

Skg... Geet is very much capable of handling NT... but this is not about NT...but about showing NTs true face to MSK... also another way to prove that MSK has started developing feelings for her... that he cant bear to hear her insult by others..!! Geet has used her brains here n i m proud of her...!!

If u see the promo carefully she has justified her stand already.. she has looked at MSK n her self thot is... SAY SOMETHING MAAN our RELATION is being QUESTIONED!!

Wow thanks for this perspective! The secret behind this post was that I was hoping someone would give me a great possible justification for why the promo was shot as it is. I hope what you say is true, as it is a very viable and characterisation-friendly explanation for the promo! Great logic!

I am looking forward to the potential for a previous incident that leads up to this.

I am excited to see what they are planning too! I don't think he us humiliating her for for the sake of it. Each time, he is influenced by circumstances (NT) and has every reason to believe she is sabotaging his life. I want to be clear that I don't question her behaviour towards Maan at all, just the way she acted against NT in the promo. I am looking forward to seeing the back-story here!

Thanx for agreeing with me... Infact I also liked tanu's point that Geet is very much capable of answering her but that's not the point here ... the point is that their relationship is being questioned... earlier in KBM sequenced she questioned her self-respect & her character... It's not that she cannot give it back to NT... after all she has the authority which maan himself cannot deny...

Like I told misty85, I really wanted to hear some possible justifications for this promo being the way it was, as I couldn't think of any myself. Your explanation is wonderful! I like the idea of Geet forcing NT to abuse her in front of MSK to reveal her true colours! I was just wondering what the CVs could be thinking, since at face-value the promo seemed so out of character.

Thanks to you guys the promo is starting to have the potential to make sense!
