Dr: Dhekiye, from what I can see she hasn't eaten anything for more then 24 hours. She is also very weak...her heart rate shouldn't be that slow...from tests I can see she has iron deficiency and glucose deficiency...I mean this is not good...especially when she is pregnant...
Maan: :0
Geet: :0 :)
Geet: kyaaa she said weakly with a happy voice

Maan: what!!! Mein!! Ye!!! Kya!! Impossible!! Noo!! Doctor how can you say that? I mean you haven't done any tests and its just not... Just because she fainted it doesn't mean you can just say she is pregnant! I want her fully checked up at the hospital...it can't be!

Dr: Mr Khurana please calm down. I thought you would know? She is nearly on her third month? I thought you would have known as she is so far out on her pregnancy.

Maan was happy and sad? He wasn't ready? He left the room as soon as he could not realising he had to face the whole family outside.

Dr: I shall take a leave geet; you look after yourself and come to meet me soon. I will tell your family outside. She left in a hesitant way...

Outside:

Dm: maan bete kuch boliye? What took so long... is geet ok? Maan! Maan

Maan: wo dadi ma, mein...wo

In the mean time the doctor came out of the room. Dadima and everyone started asking her if geet was ok.

Dr: Mrs khurana apko bidai ho aap bari dadi banewali ho!!!!!

Everyone was really happy but on the other hand stressed and shocked. (maan gave that constipated look that he always does to the sky) they weren't sure on maan's reaction. From what the could see it was just plain..no emotion. On one hand they were all so happy but then maan.

Dm: bete aap...

Maan just left from there..got into his Bentley and left...(speeeddinggg)

Geets room:

Geet lay silent on the bed, thinking about her kismat...(st. jab ham baby kaliye tyar they tho baby hamse chin a gaya. Aur jab maan is halat mein hain tab aap itne bari khushi... kyu baba ji...geet was ofcourse really happy but maan, will he even except their baby? Anyway where was he? Where did he go and leave her? Shouldn't he be happy? During these thought of her unanswerable questions everyone came in. she wiped her tears quickly and put on a smily face that came out painful to everyone else.

It defiantly wasn't the right time and now all this?

Dadima st: yeh kya insaf hai? Iss bechari neh tho...

She congratulated geet and the rest of the family. Geet aaj apne ham eek bahut bri khushi di hai. She caressed her hair gently... with smiling tears in her eyes

Geet: is khushi ka kya fida dadi..jaab...maan..

She started to cry silently along with nandini and dadi. Naintara just left from there being the woman she is and dev left the room thinking away..hmmm...

Dadima and nandini stayed in the room for a few hours just trying to comfort her and ofcourse waiting for maan to come.

3 hours later:

Everybody was worried sick. Geet kept on crying thinking he has run away! They were all consoling geet on the bed,they saw maan walk past her room.

Geet: maan...dadima maan agaye waapas...wo hame chorkar nahi gaye...she start crying again but they were happy tears. Whilst maan was standing at the door. He then realised how insecure geet was feeling without him. Although he may have forgotten everything that's not fair on geet or 'their' baby.

Dadima: maan.. aap kaha hai..geet ki halath dhekho zara..maan!!

He slowly entered the room trying to gaze away from everybody's faces. They all looked at him in a disturbingly manner.

Maan: mujhe geet se akale me baat karni hai...

They all left the room quickly and quietly hoping 'aal iz welll'

Maan: geet mein...kya...tum...hum...yeh bacha...yeh...he rubbed his temple trying to get things straight in his mind..he was flying his arms in the air trying to talk..

Mein yeh nahi...geet look at him straight away with tears brimming in her eyes. Maan saw that...mere wo matlab nahi tha...ye zimadari...meri shaadi kaaab kaise..mein kya karu...how do I accept this child. I don't even know when, I mean I don't think im re...UGHH I just don't know geet. He hit his hand against the wall. A little blood start coming out of his hand..geet saw this and quickly got up to see if he was ok..

Geet: maan apke hatho se khoon arehai...she held his hand and started to clean the blood away. He pulled his hand back roughly which gave geets body a little bit of a shock. She stumbled a bit but held onto the desk chair...thinking how mean he has gotten since the accident. He never used to behave like this with me?

Maan: wo..im sorry...mein theek hu

She sat down back on the bad...waiting for maan to respond to her ...looking glum...

Geet: maan aapko is bacha se koy problem to nahi h...

Maan: hai mujhe problem hai! He said in kinda loud voice...geet mujhe kuch yaad nahi hai to mein kyu accept karu ise..he said looking a bit down on her stomach. She put her hand over her stomach protectively and the other over her mouth..she couldn't believe what he had just said. the old maan would have never said such a thing..

Maan: tum mujhe galat mat samaj na...im not saying you get an abortion or anything..you can keep the child...but I don't know geet. If I would be able to give her the love that she deserves...i mean it. Just for one second geet had some hope in what he said. her head was spinning...but she couldnt stop thinking about what he said to her.He called her baby her...meaning he must be thinking boy or girl...does this mean. She happily cried thinking that maybe there was some hope for her and their child...

Maan could see she was holding her head and was very pale. he guessed she had probably been crying since he left.

Maan: tum aram karlo...

geet: maan aap plz maat j...

maan: mein dadima ko bhej ta hu

Did he care? Or did he not want to talk about it and stay with her? He left the room promptly with his thinking face..geet wasn't very sure...she didn't like maans reaction...i mean this baby was her world...but it wouldn't be right without him...
