I don't think it is a problem retaining the basic qualities of Maan and Geet in a new season. It is not necessary that only two people in the whole wide world will have that characteristics. After all it would be about another pair who are like Maan and Geet but in a different setting.

Opti...God knows why the CV's did not pursue Sam angle...It may be because GCM's could not bear to see MSK anything other than Pavitra...Infact he never even mentioned to Geet he had a past love 😕 Well DEva forgiveness...like I said..It may have been deliberate move by PH for what ever reason...either to end GHSP by unfair means for the new shows or Creative liberties...They just may not have expected viewers to stick with the show inspite of everything 🤔

Who is Samaan? Why should there be any connection when they have not bothered to connect them in the earlier birth only?

SaMaan is the out of wedlock baggage MSK sired before he left for Jungles in Geet 1 ..Since post RC track is a fresh track and fresh birth...They can have rebith Geet questioning why MSK in Geet 1 lied or kept the truth from her 😛

I will find it difficult to digest Maaneet's gory death, a pre-requisite for the fascinating story you are painting.

Unless there is death how will audience feel the triumph of Maneet post birth when they take revenge on Kamini-NT in new birth

PPS: Personally, I wouldn't mind the show ending on a tragic note either. The dialogues post-marriage -- where Geet prayed that she should draw her last breath in her husband's arms and where Maan prayed that her prayer be granted -- were really powerful. Of course, perhaps, the present creatives are not aware of that which transpired then.
