If they were asking about REAL chemistry then I totally understand his reaction. That question was totally out of line.

But then if they weren't...and this might be pushing it, but sometimes actors get really caught up in the scene they are doing because they have to immerse themselves in it completely. At the time of this interview they were shooting a really intense scene where Maan has to go get Geet for Daadima's sake, but is extremely resentful of that. In the scene, Maan hates Geet so maybe a bit of that rubbed off on him. I mean, if you consider the context of the current tracl, it wasn't really the most valid question to ask in any case.

Or maybe he was just indulging in a diva moment!

Whatever it is, he is clearly a committed and professional actor, in terms of what he gives us everyday on the screen and the ongoing quality of his work really shouldn't be pitted against one careless, or possibly edited, statement.

sm people here r conveniently leaving out the word real, i see! he was not asked about his onscreen chem, but about his real chem with dd, so obviously he gave the most appropriate answer regarding that!

As long as it's not an offensive question , an actor should have no qualms answering no matter how many times it has been asked : more so when you know avoiding the answer or saying something unpredictable will only create unwanted controversies .
An actor owes this to his/her fans .
