So i just saw the episode... got late in office 😡😡 @#$#$#@$!!! But chuck that...
*Silence*

I know... i know... it was one of those episodes... one of those which just held us all together with this invisible connection... one of those where each one knows what the rest experienced cos she herself experienced it...
An incredibly poignant feeling of Nostalgia... a reliving of that Maaneet wonder not just in those flashbacks but also in the current scenes... something that our VM makers are often able to do brilliantly... 😆😆
A LOT of old things relived
1. FINALLY after a LOOONG time... a COMPLETE utilization of the immense talent of DD & GC... to the extent that after a long time i saw ONLY Maan Singh Khurana and Geet Handa... the comic timing, the characterization, the drama, the pathos, the chemistry, the 'on-cue' emotions which flowed seamlessly without any jerks... everything was just perfect👏👏
2. The Return of Maan Singh Khurana & Geet Handa - The former, not an arrogant man, simply an impatient, perfectionist loner who doesnt want to be meddled around with... the latter, a bubbly but self-respecting girl who aint going to take no shit from any person, even if it is the great Maan SIngh Khurana...😳😳
Some memorable ones- Brandy vs. Kaadha 🤣🤣!!! The droll & dry look of resignation vs. the complete abandon... the impotent seething vs. the fearless bhadaas, aided by the 'kaadha'... the sudden, arrested look as something stirred at the story vs. the look of pathos... the trying to change the subject vs. rubbing it in!!! 😳😳
3. Beautifully written dialogues - Evoking everything with just a few well chosen words and visuals... showing their shared knowledge as to what had made GHSP such a phenomenon
Sapne... Chalti phirti disaster... Aashiyana... Toofan...aur uske baad sab kucch In a nutshell what exactly happened... and the choice of scenes was brilliant... each of those which were instrumental in taking the story to the next level
4. A playing out of the original emotions evoked - Beyond mere conjugal bliss, comedy, drama, MU... the biggest things that had seemed lacking in recent times - the intensity, the beautiful poignancy, the hint of a strange connection, a 'kashish' which transcended all else, a sense of 2 similar lonely souls, their private worlds - all that seemed to come rushing back right from the HP and first Delhi days...
The person who directed it today truly showed that he knew what the stuff of yore was made of!!!
5. The Music...ah! the music 😍 they had tweaked around a lot with the music in between,,, but now they came back with EACH and every of even those tiny little bits which added so much depth to each scene played out and brought about a sub-concsious 'ringing of the bell' for us
Yet, there were some nice new additions...
1. MSK's new takiakalam - From 'Ye Ladki' to 'Badtameez ladki'😆😆
2. This one newer (but still not jarring with the older bits) bit of music, a kind of tinkle which somehow gives a tug to the heart-strings... i cant describe it but it is a new bit of music😳😳
All in all, can only describe it thus...
