No Gurti-Masti

I'm writing this because of all those out there who I think are going a bit far…
I'm just sick of reading about how Gurmeet Choudhry shouldn't be with his wife Debina Bonnerjee and instead be with Drashti Dhami….WHY?
Who are we to determine this?
There is not one website(Forum) where such kinds of things are not written, which I find too much…Give GC, DB and DD a break!
Yes they are actors and yes they work on television, but that doesn't mean that we can determine their life's important decisions. And even though they are playing some characters it doesn't mean that they are like the characters in real life or that their real life is a screenplay too, where the fans are the CVs.
They are living their lives as they want to, which we all do. As we don't want anyone to tell us what is right or wrong about our personal decisions, I'm sure they don't want it either.
Do any of us want our mom to tell us who we should fall in love with? No, right? So why are everyone trying to tell GC and DD who they should be with in real life.
GC has been with DB for about 7 years and is now married to her…7 years is a long time and he has probably made this decision because DB makes him happy. Not only that she has been there for him and supported him for 7 years and his fans should appreciate her, because it takes a hard journey to stand where GC stands today and without any support. I can only imagine how frustrating it can be to handle all the ups and downs one has to handle on the journey.
Besides even though I'm not the fan-type of a person, I know one thing if you are a fan or you simply just like someone, you are happy with their happiness, no matter what.

I didn't use to watch Geet but after knowing that GC and DD were the leads I began to watch it daily because I like the way they act. The more I watched, the more I liked their acting and today after so many years of not having any particular favorite actors, I can say that the two of them have become my favorites. I will still not call myself a fan because I don't believe in things like that or simply because I don't go mad and start daydreaming, when I like some actors.
Maybe it has something to do with me being born and brought up in Denmark, where the celebrities/TV-stars are allowed to walk on the street, sit in cafes and shop in the supermarkets without any disturbance, but of course when they don't seem to be busy, fans do walk up to them and talk, click a picture or ask for an autograph. In Denmark we just see them as normal people who also work, just on the TV.
E.g I live in the center of the capital and some of Denmark's most known TV-stars (actors, comics etc.) lives only a block away or around my block, but I have never experienced paparazzi around our blocks or crazy stalker fans.
GC and DD do a great job, the way they involve themselves in the character and their performances are fantastic.
And the fact that they appreciate their fans, both their gifts, letters and how they greet their fans when they turn up (on the sets), shows how good and down to earth human beings they are…so why don't treat them like human beings with feelings?
Stop hurting them by hurting their love ones and creating silly rumors.

Feww…this became a long one….I didn't mean to hurt anyone or to point fingers, it's just frustrating to read all that about what GC and DD should do in real life instead of things about their acting, the show and other things related to their work.
And especially now after the silly rumors created since the Gold Awards, which has led to no ofscreen Gurti-masti and I have even read that it is the channels decision that they are interviewed separately…why, we don't know. But maybe because of the rumors created….I just think that these silly rumors starts because of people who think GC should be with DD and that it kind of stuff ruins their friendship.

i agree ...they r just like SRK n kajol...who share good chemistry onscreen n r very good friends ...how can anyone say ur chemistry onscreen is good so u shud marry in real life n u shud lov each other ...if u like someone else locking good with DD then u will say to marry him ...wat a joke yaar

understand yaar dont do this stop this ...
sometime it will appear problems between the actors in real life...if they hav not so good understanding

take the example of filmstars yaar

I totally agree that personal lives should be just that...personal.

Some fans are the same everywhere, I guess...

However, I think those who live in the dream world that you've described live mainly in the virtual world and make a small minority.

I don't think any of the rumours were started by fans per se..of course, some silly people wrote nonsense about Gc's wife in their blog sometime ago...and GC got pretty upset over it...naturally.

The Indian Media does go overboard and look for stories that aren't there...and Bollywood and Tellywood can be a dirty place...jealousies abound and success can make the best among us envious. It could be a nexus between the media and rivals using these silly fans and their sillier comments as the scapegoats.

I agree we should only be concerned with Gurti and not their personal lives

no fans have the right to make complaints on the actors personal life,,,i am sure DB and GC are made 4 eachother😊,,its really sad to see bad things written about DB becoz fans feel GC is too good 4 her..

but i really miss gurti interviews becoz it was soo fun to see their friendship and the way they used to compliment each other😉😉😉
