I think it has to be something more than her being late for him to wait for her to come and then drive off. And the way she said, "Maan sir", it was almost like she knew he was going to be angry for some reason. I hope what you said happens and he stops the car for her, though I would prefer her not to faint all the time. She is no longer a damsel in distress as she once was!
