Not enough hours in the day, we often say

We watch as the business of life allows time to slip away.

Before we know days turn into months and months into years,

Time is mapped with laughter and cheers,

The long road sometimes landmarked with sadness and tears.

Relations have been built, kids have graduated,

Has it been that long we ask, where did the time go?

A chance like now comes once in a lifetime it seems,

When the bright light of friendship is nurtured and it beams,

There will be laughter and time to reminisce

We will all be proud this is a chance we did not miss.

Wow its already an year!! My entry into the Den is not so dramatic to say the least!!😆 I knew Bugger from LNMDJ days. And one day changing channels saw MSK getting out of the water with Geet in his hands and from that moment I got hooked!!😍 Had been a stalker on IF for years, so didn't take me long to land at the Geet Forum. It was fun seeing people drooling over MSK.😉 I started commenting on Bugsy's thread and was always amazed at how she managed to reply to each and every post. I love you Bugsy and Miss you loads 🤗

I was out of town the week the Devils Den was named. Came back and was searching for Bugsy's thread when I saw the Den. I started stalking more. Everybody was so welcoming, nice and funny. I continued stalking. I find it hard to start a conversation with a newcomer and so enjoyed reading the posts. I used to work US timings, so always missed the Den at night when all the fun happened. After work, I religiously read all the 80-90 pages to catch up with what happened the earlier night. And all I used to read act was Jyo's tukkas😉, Shonuu, Caco, Ayeshu, Pallu, Pallo's jokes😆 and monitors warning against making dabba posts😆 and of course lots and lots of ROFL icons.🤣

Mornings were the time I was in the Den and thats when Sonia, Gouri, me and Lana used to discuss the show. It was nice to dissect each and every word, every nuance, every action of the show. And we used to give lamba chauda bhashans to the CVs on how to take the story forward. 😆 I must be the most missing Devil of the Den going missing for days together. But I always come back to catch up with what's happening with all of you Devils. I might not chat with everyone much, but I always acknowledge all of your presence in my life. The last year has been worth living for the few minutes or hours I get to spend with one or all of you. So Thank You Devils🤗.

I am sure most of the married Devils might agree with me when I say that MSK and the Den took precedence over my hubby for sometime…… Oh, those were the days!!🤣

Once again Thank You All for being a part of my life. You all are very precious.🤗

A Horse's Neck is an American cocktail recognized by the IBA. It is made with brandy (or sometimes bourbon) and ginger ale, with a long spiral of lemon peel (zest) draped over the edge of an old fashioned or highball glass. When made with Ale-8-One and Maker's Mark this drink is commonly referred to as a Kentucky Gentleman.

A similar Canadian drink, the Rye & Ginger, is made with Canadian whisky and ginger ale.

Dating back to the 1890s, it was a non-alcoholic mixture of ginger ale, ice and lemon peel. By the 1910s, brandy, sometimes bourbon would be added for a 'Horse's Neck with a Kick' or '~ Stiff'. The non-alcoholic version was still served in upstate New York in the late fifties or early sixties, but eventually it was phased out.

Horse's Neck became popular in the wardrooms of the Royal Navy in the 1960s, displacing Pink Gin as the officers' signature drink. (An early reference to this is made in the 1957 film Yangtse Incident, in which a naval officer is shown drinking a 'Horse's Neck' in 1949). At naval Cocktail Parties (CTPs), it is sometimes served by the mess stewards ready-mixed in glass jugs, alongside similar jugs of mixed gin and tonic, with the request "H-N or G&T, Sir?"

We were beside ourselves. Husbands were woken up to be quizzed on the authenticity of the horse and Jiju actually used Autocad to separate Maaneet from the horse to study it 🤣. I was convinced it was a real horse because of its tail. Don't ask

Even after the promo aired to this day Daaku refuses to admit it was a real horse. 🤣🤣

I have met a lot of wonderful people in the den but there is one person I have to acknowledge. 😃

This one person kept the den running when all of us dropped out for reasons personal and professional. That person is Jyo. She is the life force of the den now. 😃 I think we see her more than Jiju does and I am not complaining. 😆 😆 😆

forum with Jyo from uttaran Forum as her Dahej (dowry) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣and she encouraged me to come to Gf as den wasn't den at that time , it was Bugger's post which she used to write after episode, I still remember Jyo introduced me to many of her friends on this forum..And then one day I came to the forum and found a post named Devils's Den and dared to enter only because Jyo was there ( lub u jyo) 🤗

I made so many friends and few very good friends,

loads of fluids connected us two forever🤣🤣🤣🤣 And I shared everything with her from tents to chocolates to strawberries to what NOT?

Our den has completed i year. How quickly the days pass...😳 Each day in the den has been memorable and these memories i will cherish forever...😳😳

I had tailed Arpita to this forum. I wasn't watching the show then but only following the written updates. Finally i happened to see the episode where Geet arrives in Delhi and got hooked to the show...😆 One day i chanced upon Bugsy's post and the rest as they say is history...😛 There's been no looking back since then. I have never spammed this much in my entire IF history as much as i have in the den...😆😆

I can shamelessly say that i am addicted to the den. The day i don't login i get withdrawal symptoms...😆😳 All the people i've met here...none of whom i've met personally but each one is special for me. I have formed some friendships which i will cherish for life. For this i am eternally grateful to this den...😃

This den is a special place because of all the devils who reside here. Each one of them...old, new, not so regular, regular has made this den what it is. A home away from home...😃😃

I want to specially thank Bugsy for laying the foundation to this wonderful virtual home...🤗...thanks to all the rest of the founding members for taking it further and giving it a name...🤗...thanks to all the devils for bringing life to this home...🤗 A special thank you to Jyo for never giving up on the den. Many of us at some point due to our dwindling interest in the show or some other reason has lost interest in the den but she never gave up. Its because of her that the den is alive and kicking even now...🤗
