Okay okay okay... before you guys kill me... 😳😳... these are the reasons why i am saying this...
1. More masala... and a greater pleasure in the eventual reunion of the two... thus giving time for the TRPs to build up and come back
2. In case, Geet is meant to have some competition, dont you think a 'Blast from the Past' is a better option than seeing Maan, before our eyes, getting attracted to another woman ( 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺)
So basically as Sameera comes as someone who caused problems in Maan's life but was the woman in his life... so he pays attention to her and lets her be around... while he is cynical abut her since she was the one who made him dislike women, he tolerates her in professional capacity... yet he is more attracted to Geet and sub-consciously starts falling in love with her all over again...
This will make it EXACTLY like the first time we liked it... when there was another woman (Sasha) who kept trying for his attention ... and while Maan wasnt really attracted to her, he tolerated her... and that is how she caused problems for Geet... in the processs inadvertently giving Geet THAT much more of an opportunity to prove herself to him, attracting him to her even more...
