Ok so I just thought of this and had to share it. I know we all LOVED the album scene yesterday with Geet remembering all the moments and Maan feeling restless because of their totally unscientific, unmedical soul-connection but I just realised that the album is also so deeply symbolic! The cover photo falls out when the servant takes it from the cupboard and Maan almost sees it but doesn't. The cover-photo represents Maan's memory which he can't access but which would connect him to the many memories inside the album. This shows that even holding the truth in his hand, the old khadus MSK chooses to ignore his instincts which willing him to look at the picture, ie, remember his past.

On the other hand, Geet embraces the album, even with the cover photo missing. This shows that even though the cover photo, Maan's memory, has fallen out and he hasn't been able to find it, the memories are still there in the album, just below the blank cover. Geet can access all of them easily and enjoy the photos and the love they imply despite the loss of the cover photo, but the album, which represents the history of their relationship is incomplete without Maan's memory of it. So maybe once Maan sees the cover photo and it goes back into its rightful place, on the front of the album, his memory will start to come back?

Just a thought, which I hadn't seen expressed yet today. What say?

oh nice post!! love the scene when she was thinking and touching his pic, maan was feeling restless!! he was feeling the pain in his heart... his love life soul was crying... hmmm while seeing the scene i felt the pain also but at the same time was hoping to get the ablum for myself!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
