I think I have had enough! Now I know how Geet must have felt when she was going through the push and pull phase. But luckily for her push pull were with MSK and unfortunately for us we are stuck with Star One/Desh whatever! Aise nahi jiya jaata yaar - we gotta ask ourselves whether we want this show to stay or whether we should accept reality and say bye bye to it on a happy note.

I read on this forum that apparently Geet is not to be cancelled. I read on this forum that apparently a meeting will take place in August to discuss the future of this show. And then I read on this forum that Geet will stay until August next year. Now this article pops up. I wonder if Chugalkhor Aunty and SBS got cancelled coz they released this info prematurely. Maybe Star One was going to break this news gently to the fans but before they could CA and SBS did. I wanna know what is the truth and what is not.

If we want this show to stay then we should create a team.

Someone should write a standard email to Star One, requesting proper answers and petitioning to keep the show. This email should be sent to Star One every hour, until someone provides some information.

Someone should write a standard email written to the Creative Supervisor Puja Sharma, who went on to say on the official Star One website that Geet is not ending, asking her what is going on with Geet and petitioning to keep the show. This email should be sent every hour until proper information is given.

Someone should write an email sent to the production house of GHSP, who confirmed in their article that Geet is not ending and talked about the livelihood of the entire production and how the programme is close to their hearts as well, asking them what is happening.

There should be frequent calls made, using the correct telephone numbers and speaking to the correct department, until proper information is presented to us fans.

If between now and the weekend we are still in this position, where we know nothing, then a couple of us should go to the Star One office with a big long banner petitioning for the show to stay, outside their offices.

I think if we continue to show interest and effort then there is a chance for this programme to stay and get picked up by another channel. It has been known to happen (see US TV show Damages).

or if you guys think am talking rubbish then I am sorry to have waste your time.

I am not in India either but I am majorly annoyed by the constant "are we?" "are we not?"!

Really think if we make a team which will pester Star One for some proper information and then do something with the information for the show then we can come to some sort of conclusion rather than just bash them sitting on our arses!

DUNO WHY THEY R DOING THIS WHEN THE SHOW IS GETTING BETTER.THESE NEWS MAY AFFECT GEET TEAM BADLY IF THEY R NOT INFORMED PRIOR.

Thank you - exactly! It effects the GHSP team more than the fans coz they are the ones who are putting the show out there. Nowadays there are problems with production houses all over the channels, problems with actors, directors, producers. But GHSP seems like one team who has one focus and that is to put a good show on for us, that we fans will see their vision and support them. I feel now is our time to show that support.

Our main focus should be right now is how do we get some proper information from them...
