😊😊GUD MORNING MANEETIANS😊😉⭐️
yesterday whn maan didnt know about rye infact even i was wndrng wht was it so did sm search on it so that all those lyk me n our cutie maan who dont know about rye can learn abit about it...

Rye (Secale cereale) is a grass grown extensively as a grain and as a forage crop. It is a member of the wheat tribe (Triticeae) and is closely related to barley and wheat. Rye grain is used for flour, rye bread, rye beer, some whiskeys, some vodkas, and animal fodder. It can also be eaten whole, either as boiled rye berries, or by being rolled, similar to rolled oats.

It is a cereal grain that looks like wheat but is longer and more slender and varies in color from yellowish brown to grayish green. It is generally available in its whole or cracked grain form or as flour or flakes that look similar to old-fashioned oats. Because it is difficult to separate the germ and bran from the endosperm of rye, rye flour usually retains a large quantity of nutrients, in contrast to refined wheat flour.
by reading sm replies i thnk i misunderstood raai as raai...so info on both..
Indian name and pronounciation:
Rai, Sarson, pronounced as raa-ee and sur-so
Appearance, taste and smell:
The mustard seeds used in Indian cooking, are tiny and black or dark brown in color. The seeds have a faint spicy smell much like curry leaves. They taste just like mustard in its paste form.
Mustard Seeds - Rai - Sarson - Raai

Good info, but just a small correction 😊

The item in Geet's list was 'rai'..hindi for mustard seeds! 😊 They are tiny, round black/gray/dark brown seeds.
Mustard seeds, cumin seeds and coriander seeds among others are common ingredients in almost every indian dish.

But yes, that scene was very cute 😳

Just thought I'd let you know 😳
