Jyo, you were right. Drashti admitted that she is putting more of herself in Geet rather than the other way around. She also mentioned that the directors virtually let her do as she sees Geet. Now that is worrisome. It is clear the guys at the helm do not have a vision as they are there only for a short while. Someone does need to tell her to get back into the Geet mode and not remain in the Drashti mode now that we have a serious track on. GC has by and large maintained his Maan image but this track will scale new heights only if DD too plays Geet as she is meant to be and not thrust her own persona into her.

Okay Jyo. Lets hope he listens. I read your post and it was to the point. 😊 This track has started off quite well so keeping Dev at distance is what all want. I guess after the precap, he might try to bring back Maan and maybe even help Maan in resurrecting his business.

One thing I love about DD is she is so honest. Like Opti mentioned she admits that she sometimes put's DD in Geet, without direction the greatest of actors can't shine. Also most actors say I love the attention but she admits she likes to be left alone when she's goes out to enjoy her self. I get it, fans can get irritating at times. One more thing I love about her is her masti and humour, she's always smiling. Whenever I see her interviews they make me smile. She truly is a gem.

I think they were informed that they were winning an award.😉 Bcuz usually DD dresses up casually.. this one looks like a gown and both are color-co-ordinated. She has even styled her usually curly hair with tongs. 😳

I love her too Faria. She is absolutely down to earth without any starry airs and speaks from her heart. She candidly admitted to being bored with the oft repeated Maahi... scenes and waits for them to get over. She also said that she will do a scene even if she is not fully convinced by it as she treats it as a one day match, does it and takes the money. Her comment that celebrities will have to accept the entire package including pestering fans was also good. She pretty much said that if one goes into this field one has to accept the consequences even if one may not always like it. It is hard not to like this girl. It is good that GC is a well grounded guy too the reason these two have a fab equation.

Yep, it's rare to see such down to earth celebrities any more. Everybody is just too fake. DD knows her flaws and her pros. She also treats acting like a normal day job, do the work and take the salary. Others brag about how well their show is doing and how big their fan base is, she could do the same if she wished to, after all she is currently the number one female actress on I-F, but she doesn't instead she admits she doesn't enjoy 'mahi' scenes and sometimes disagrees with the director. She knows with the fame will come a price and she fully embraces it. I made one of my friends watch her interviews and even she enjoyed her humour and honest answers.

Hopefully what I just said makes sense, I'm hungry so I can't think straight.

Yep not everybody can do that. No matter how much I love GC, handling the media is one thing he can't do too well. But it is one heck of a job considering they don't stop pestering you.

Zee, one needn't worry about handling the media if one is honest and sincere. People will automatically appreciate that even if one's answers may not be the most popular ones. DD I feel is just being herself and that is what works for her.
