maan's anger is like the beast's...and he lives in a dark castle (before geet came to his life)...and the way the beast tried to woo belle...was very similar to the way maan tried...and he also couldn't accept that belle wanted to go away from him...

and geet is like belle...in that she is sweet and smart...and stands up to the beast at times...and that she is brave...and pretty...
