Geet- A story of a girl who fought her family to stand up to what she believes was correct and fights the whole world to make the world believe that she is right.

The story started with the ISSUE OF NRI marriage in PUNJAB. It highlighted a social cause but the show lacked TRPs nd the show changed its story line OVERNIGHT. I am not gonna complain here over that coz the way the SHOW started even I was DISGUSTED.

GEET was beaten up coz she was not wearing a DUPPATTA.. I hated that scene. I have lived in Punjab all my life and I seriously detested that. Yes u are highlighting a social cause but to condescend a cast I am against that.

Detesting a secne didn't mean I dindt like the way the show was going. It was a relief from the SAAS BAHU dramas and the usual love triangles. The show brought in a fresh story, Yes a love story is what we wanted but the touch of social cause here was what made us stick to it.

But suddenly the focus was shifted from GEET's plight to showing Maan being the HERO, from GEET's justice to Maan being HOT.

I agreed that to keep a show alive u require all the factors from comedy, passion, drama , suspense romance everything but excess of everything is BAD, and in the past two months that's what has happened to the show.

I will want to go back. The time of the accident. The episodes of DEV confession and truth being out that should have been the turning point, was not highlighted well. The point where the audiences should have held on to their dear lives to know whats gonna happen next was wrapped up in a single epi.

It lead to the MAJOR downfall.

The next few lines highlight the points which lead to the show downfall

b)Arjun was introduced to take revenge

c) Maan and GEET are married not some run away teenagers

d)Maan is a business tycoon and is hard nut to crack not someone to be laughed at.

e)dev is a negative character and not positive one

Now the Thing that bothered me the most is the negligence of the Creative team to keep up the story they once started.

So here I am doing that hope we get the track back after this.

Geet a 18 year old small town girl who was married to a NRI guy by her family . The Guy sleeps with her and leaves her stranded at the airport taking away all her money. She is humiliated and taken to jail where her family comes and takes her back. Even on being constantly forced by her family to forget her SO CALLED HUSBAND, she decides to find him and on investigation she finds out she was dumped and duped for money. Meanwhile she finds out that she is pregnant. Her family tries to kill her when she refuses to abort the child. She exposes her family to the whole world after being saved by a stranger and on being advised by him to fight for herself.

She leaves her family behind and moves to Delhi where she starts working to help herself and her baby. She works for a ruthless man who is ARROGANT, RUDE AND IN SHORT "DUSHT DANAV" but he has a heart of gold that she without her knowledge falls for. Meanwhile the GUY falls for the girls CHILD LIKE INNOCENCE AND HER NATURE WHICH IS LIKE "MISHTI".

They can't confess to each other coz she has a past and the guy has a EGO and a certain disdainful behavior towards girls due to certain things which have happened in his past.

But ultimately the girl find courage to tell him all about her past. They guy accepts her and is ready to accept her in front of the whole world when the world turns upside down for both of them. The Girl finds out that the man she intended to marry is none other than the brother of the guy who had deceived her.

She couldn't gather her wits and by the time she did it was already too late . He had left in search for her and not finding any trace of her he reached back dejected only to head back to office to meet with an accident. The girl having no knowledge of her Man finally after a search found him and then she knew she had to tell him the truth about her brother.

The truth was revealed and the BROTHER, they guy who had dumped her suddenly turns god like coz he is like repentant was just sentenced to jail for few days and then let out.

The Guy and the Girl marry after a lot of Hassles and suddenly THE SAINT comes back to spoil their lives. The girl looses her child and she goes into depression and the presence of her ex-husnabd just irks the present one.The guy's over possessive nature makes him utter words that he didn't intend to and the girl leaves the house.

The guy repentant goes to bring her back only to realize how deeply he has hurt her, and her family to detest him. She forgives him over the time but the family refuses to. The saint falls in love with the GIRLs sister and the girl Is happy about that.

Now this is where the story takes a turn. The thing the audience expected was To GEET make sure that what happened with her doesn't happen with her sister. Yes she has forgiven him but does that men that he is good and she can forget all that has happened to her. Surely no, but this is what happen and then the DRaaag of Maan BEEJI TEJ nafrat is being dragged out of proportion for no reason.

Req: Pls focus on the Girl. Her education her justice, her struggle in the world or OFFICE to make a name for herself as GEET. Since the time she has been married we have lost GEET in MRS.GEET MAAN SINGH KHURANA. She is so absorbed in fulfilling her duties as a wife, as a daughter in law as a going to be mother as a sister in law that in midst of all this GEET is lost somewhere.And since the AMRITSAR track has started we have lost the charm of the show. The characters of the show were butchered, the story hay wire and from a simple story it turned into comedy circus without any logic or sense. We don't want to see a comedy show but a show which was once a perfect blend of every emotion .

Now lets come to the characters that have been spoiled.

Geet: A girl who fought her family for her unborn baby couldnt stand and fight her cousins for her husband. A man who protected her honor in all phases, she could do nothing to make sure that her husband is not humiliated. Yes she is 18 but she has gone through enough in life to realize the worth of her family and relations. The girl who would answer her own boss couldn't answer her own family for her husband. A girl who had declared in front of the whole world the truth about her past couldn't dare to stand up against 7 people of her family.

This is where one of my fav heroines of TV industry was butchered. From being a strong girl she was made into those daily SOAP kind heroines. So first req : Pls keep the characters in their act.

This is why I started watching the show coz here I wanted to see a girl who lived life on HER DECISIONS.

Dev: Dev was etched out to be one of the DIRTIEST villain's in the television industry but over the time due to actors demands the character of DEV was just lost. Dev was a man who would work and think only of his own benefits, a man who would support the stronger of the parties and where he would benefit more, a man who was dumb enough to get to any levels to get money, a man who loved to be ruled without protesting, a man who was after money and girls. This is what DEV was not a saint, not a man who would LOVE his brother and bhabhi, a man who couldn't love his wife would love his bother..ahhh u want me to believe that. So seriously We want a DEVIL DEV DASTARD DEV a man who was selfish and unwise a man who would go any lengths to fulfill his needs and desires and now u have a actor who is awesome at NEGATIVE roles get him to work on tht.

MAAN: Oh yes maan is butchered too. Maan a man of few words, maan a man who was arrogant and rude, a man who would kill with his gaze a man who was serious and he kept his private and professional life separate, a man who would barely smile, a man who would be angry at the flick of wand a man who was Jealous and possesive about the one he loved, a man who only knew how to win and never knew what failure was a man who would break but would not bend in front of anyone. This was maan. And today Maan is NOT The possessive lover we saw during KURBAAN HUA, not an angry boss we fell in love with in the initail epi of the series not a man who would keep his private and professional life separate post engagement. We want that. Yes maan smiles but that should be limited to HIS WIFE not every aira gaira nattu gaira, maan should hve the smoldering look to his employees and all else and the love only for HIS FAMILY speacilly his wife. Yes he has all right to be angry with her but there are somethings that should be kept bw two not with the whole world involved. Their lives are private keep it that way.

I loved it when Maan and GEET didn't tell anyone wht had gone wrong bw them but dragging everyone to sort out their issues is too kiddish.

Maan was a man who believed in his priciples. He coulnt forgive them and now he is ready to Break a Marriage to GET his BROTHER his love that is so not Maan. Pls rectify that and make sure the DEV and Nandini track is scraped off asap.

DIALOGUES:

I have this huge issue with the dialogues now a days. Mr.Dhillion gave me one of my most fav dialgues till date, " Ghar chalein geet," To me those three letters were more beautiful than all their ILU's.

And now in the past few days we have dialogues like " I have to chose bw wife and daughter," Hola whats that. Seriously each girl lives both her roles every day , from the day she gets married why this. Yes she needed to make her duties as a daughter her priorities but u cant say SHE CHOOSES..thst an insult.. For god sake rectify that. Its twice I have heard that. Yes she has a husband who supports her decision of taking up her duties as a daughter, but she cannot let her duties as a wife take a back seat yes u are not showing that but I would request MR. DHILLION to take special care of that next time.

And whats with the COMEDY CIRCUS happening on the show. Yes till one point JUGNU MAMA being drunk made me laugh but now it only irks me so please stop repeating the same jokes or make some use of him. Yes yes the only thing he has done till date is GET a video done at the wrong time. Yes he is drunk but give us a reason and story behind that.

EDITING: Can I know what DUSHMANI does the editing team have us with GHSP viewers, Why cant they scrap of DEV NANDINI BEEJI TEJI LUCKY PREETO JUGNU MAMA SCENES,99.99% of the time its MANEET scenes scraped off and that too its so damn obvious..so pls do the needful weather it's the channel or show pls take necessary steps to make amends.
