Geet- A story of a girl who fought her family to stand up to what she believes was correct and fights the whole world to make the world believe that she is right.

The story started with the ISSUE OF NRI marriage in PUNJAB. It highlighted a social cause but the show lacked TRPs nd the show changed its story line OVERNIGHT. I am not gonna complain here over that coz the way the SHOW started even I was DISGUSTED.

GEET was beaten up coz she was not wearing a DUPPATTA.. I hated that scene. I have lived in Punjab all my life and I seriously detested that. Yes u are highlighting a social cause but to condescend a cast I am against that.

Detesting a secne didn't mean I dindt like the way the show was going. It was a relief from the SAAS BAHU dramas and the usual love triangles. The show brought in a fresh story, Yes a love story is what we wanted but the touch of social cause here was what made us stick to it.

But suddenly the focus was shifted from GEET's plight to showing Maan being the HERO, from GEET's justice to Maan being HOT.

I agreed that to keep a show alive u require all the factors from comedy, passion, drama , suspense romance everything but excess of everything is BAD, and in the past two months that's what has happened to the show.

I will want to go back. The time of the accident. The episodes of DEV confession and truth being out that should have been the turning point, was not highlighted well. The point where the audiences should have held on to their dear lives to know whats gonna happen next was wrapped up in a single epi.

It lead to the MAJOR downfall.

The next few lines highlight the points which lead to the show downfall

1)Introduction OF AA track

2)Stretching of pregnancy track which should have ended logically long back.

3)Introduction and exit of characters such as Meera and yash without any logic.

4)Introduction of Geet's unkown family in Amritsar track.

5)The stretch of Amritsar Track beyond a limit.

6)The constant negligence of the creative to keep their Character they etched in their beauty.

7)Dev becoming a Saint.

8)Constant Amnesia of Creative heads such as a)DEV IS MARRIED.

b)Arjun was introduced to take revenge

c) Maan and GEET are married not some run away teenagers

d)Maan is a business tycoon and is hard nut to crack not someone to be laughed at.

e)dev is a negative character and not positive one

Now the Thing that bothered me the most is the negligence of the Creative team to keep up the story they once started.

So here I am doing that hope we get the track back after this.

Geet a 18 year old small town girl who was married to a NRI guy by her family . The Guy sleeps with her and leaves her stranded at the airport taking away all her money. She is humiliated and taken to jail where her family comes and takes her back. Even on being constantly forced by her family to forget her SO CALLED HUSBAND, she decides to find him and on investigation she finds out she was dumped and duped for money. Meanwhile she finds out that she is pregnant. Her family tries to kill her when she refuses to abort the child. She exposes her family to the whole world after being saved by a stranger and on being advised by him to fight for herself.

She leaves her family behind and moves to Delhi where she starts working to help herself and her baby. She works for a ruthless man who is ARROGANT, RUDE AND IN SHORT "DUSHT DANAV" but he has a heart of gold that she without her knowledge falls for. Meanwhile the GUY falls for the girls CHILD LIKE INNOCENCE AND HER NATURE WHICH IS LIKE "MISHTI".

They can't confess to each other coz she has a past and the guy has a EGO and a certain disdainful behavior towards girls due to certain things which have happened in his past.

But ultimately the girl find courage to tell him all about her past. They guy accepts her and is ready to accept her in front of the whole world when the world turns upside down for both of them. The Girl finds out that the man she intended to marry is none other than the brother of the guy who had deceived her.

She couldn't gather her wits and by the time she did it was already too late . He had left in search for her and not finding any trace of her he reached back dejected only to head back to office to meet with an accident. The girl having no knowledge of her Man finally after a search found him and then she knew she had to tell him the truth about her brother.

The truth was revealed and the BROTHER, they guy who had dumped her suddenly turns god like coz he is like repentant was just sentenced to jail for few days and then let out.

The Guy and the Girl marry after a lot of Hassles and suddenly THE SAINT comes back to spoil their lives. The girl looses her child and she goes into depression and the presence of her ex-husnabd just irks the present one.The guy's over possessive nature makes him utter words that he didn't intend to and the girl leaves the house.

The guy repentant goes to bring her back only to realize how deeply he has hurt her, and her family to detest him. She forgives him over the time but the family refuses to. The saint falls in love with the GIRLs sister and the girl Is happy about that.

Now this is where the story takes a turn. The thing the audience expected was To GEET make sure that what happened with her doesn't happen with her sister. Yes she has forgiven him but does that men that he is good and she can forget all that has happened to her. Surely no, but this is what happen and then the DRaaag of Maan BEEJI TEJ nafrat is being dragged out of proportion for no reason.

Req: Pls focus on the Girl. Her education her justice, her struggle in the world or OFFICE to make a name for herself as GEET. Since the time she has been married we have lost GEET in MRS.GEET MAAN SINGH KHURANA. She is so absorbed in fulfilling her duties as a wife, as a daughter in law as a going to be mother as a sister in law that in midst of all this GEET is lost somewhere.And since the AMRITSAR track has started we have lost the charm of the show. The characters of the show were butchered, the story hay wire and from a simple story it turned into comedy circus without any logic or sense. We don't want to see a comedy show but a show which was once a perfect blend of every emotion .

Now lets come to the characters that have been spoiled.

Geet: A girl who fought her family for her unborn baby couldnt stand and fight her cousins for her husband. A man who protected her honor in all phases, she could do nothing to make sure that her husband is not humiliated. Yes she is 18 but she has gone through enough in life to realize the worth of her family and relations. The girl who would answer her own boss couldn't answer her own family for her husband. A girl who had declared in front of the whole world the truth about her past couldn't dare to stand up against 7 people of her family.

This is where one of my fav heroines of TV industry was butchered. From being a strong girl she was made into those daily SOAP kind heroines. So first req : Pls keep the characters in their act.

This is why I started watching the show coz here I wanted to see a girl who lived life on HER DECISIONS.

Dev: Dev was etched out to be one of the DIRTIEST villain's in the television industry but over the time due to actors demands the character of DEV was just lost. Dev was a man who would work and think only of his own benefits, a man who would support the stronger of the parties and where he would benefit more, a man who was dumb enough to get to any levels to get money, a man who loved to be ruled without protesting, a man who was after money and girls. This is what DEV was not a saint, not a man who would LOVE his brother and bhabhi, a man who couldn't love his wife would love his bother..ahhh u want me to believe that. So seriously We want a DEVIL DEV DASTARD DEV a man who was selfish and unwise a man who would go any lengths to fulfill his needs and desires and now u have a actor who is awesome at NEGATIVE roles get him to work on tht.

MAAN: Oh yes maan is butchered too. Maan a man of few words, maan a man who was arrogant and rude, a man who would kill with his gaze a man who was serious and he kept his private and professional life separate, a man who would barely smile, a man who would be angry at the flick of wand a man who was Jealous and possesive about the one he loved, a man who only knew how to win and never knew what failure was a man who would break but would not bend in front of anyone. This was maan. And today Maan is NOT The possessive lover we saw during KURBAAN HUA, not an angry boss we fell in love with in the initail epi of the series not a man who would keep his private and professional life separate post engagement. We want that. Yes maan smiles but that should be limited to HIS WIFE not every aira gaira nattu gaira, maan should hve the smoldering look to his employees and all else and the love only for HIS FAMILY speacilly his wife. Yes he has all right to be angry with her but there are somethings that should be kept bw two not with the whole world involved. Their lives are private keep it that way.

I loved it when Maan and GEET didn't tell anyone wht had gone wrong bw them but dragging everyone to sort out their issues is too kiddish.

Maan was a man who believed in his priciples. He coulnt forgive them and now he is ready to Break a Marriage to GET his BROTHER his love that is so not Maan. Pls rectify that and make sure the DEV and Nandini track is scraped off asap.

DIALOGUES:

I have this huge issue with the dialogues now a days. Mr.Dhillion gave me one of my most fav dialgues till date, " Ghar chalein geet," To me those three letters were more beautiful than all their ILU's.

And now in the past few days we have dialogues like " I have to chose bw wife and daughter," Hola whats that. Seriously each girl lives both her roles every day , from the day she gets married why this. Yes she needed to make her duties as a daughter her priorities but u cant say SHE CHOOSES..thst an insult.. For god sake rectify that. Its twice I have heard that. Yes she has a husband who supports her decision of taking up her duties as a daughter, but she cannot let her duties as a wife take a back seat yes u are not showing that but I would request MR. DHILLION to take special care of that next time.

And whats with the COMEDY CIRCUS happening on the show. Yes till one point JUGNU MAMA being drunk made me laugh but now it only irks me so please stop repeating the same jokes or make some use of him. Yes yes the only thing he has done till date is GET a video done at the wrong time. Yes he is drunk but give us a reason and story behind that.

EDITING: Can I know what DUSHMANI does the editing team have us with GHSP viewers, Why cant they scrap of DEV NANDINI BEEJI TEJI LUCKY PREETO JUGNU MAMA SCENES,99.99% of the time its MANEET scenes scraped off and that too its so damn obvious..so pls do the needful weather it's the channel or show pls take necessary steps to make amends.

FUTURE TRACKS

Get them back to DELHI ASAP, with a logical end to the track and w/0 DEV NANDINI happening.

get Sam into the picture, she is supposed to be Maans blast from the past

Get GEET going to college/office

Get GEET JUSTICE with dev being negative.

Get NT back thst gonna be fun.

GHSP /GURTI

GHSP to me has been a journey that is perhaps new, cos I have really traversed into the
world of TV soaps, But 2 people changed that for me
Gurmeet and Drashti - GURTI for so many of us ! two people who have now become so
emotionally connected to me that I want to see them in every single frame
GHSP = GURTI for me and I know it is the same feeling for so many of my friends
I dont want to get into the issues we have had to so far ! Many specialists who have been here for long have done that
Iam new to this den and I want o just write what I want to see

1. A stronger GEET standing up to her Maan and making him proud
2. More MANEET screenspace ! they light up the screen and we want to see them all the time ! we understand your limitatons
but please FOCUS on MANEET and their romance post marraige has been a DUD
3. Wonder which sadoo character wanted a DEVINI track ! I read GUL khans logic that dev went scot free cos there were
emotions involved as he was maans brother and so dadi will be upset ! We accept that , but to us he is still a criminal and
he can redeem hmself , but please we are not interested in a love angle - LESS DEVINI
4. Lucky is a supercute character - please use him effectively
5. GEET and MAAN shd wear color coordinated dresses ! u shd give her clothes she wears in the Kaafa kaafa sequence
that brings a glow to her face
6. A strong story line with focus on Maneet
7. Sensous passionate scenes along with any parallel track ! U guys need to show us 1 day a week full on Maneet !
8. Romantic spoilers by the GEET admin in FB - those create mass hysteria
9 Romantic build up to Promos - this will surely bring you TRPs
10. Editing :This is a pain area ! we wait in anticipation from SBS/SBB segments and we are disgusted to see the maneet
scenes being chopped when the wait is to see them together ! We have not seen scenes which were posted as spoilers
11. camera angles - Please dont focus on maneet/GURTI face, sometime long shots are necessary to show the intensity
Mahi mahi was shot beautifully with camera focusing completely on them
12.DP change based on the maneet romancee theme in the FP page and more interaction from admin makes us feel wanted !
13. Last, once again I watched this show for GURTI and will watch only for them ! I respect all the actors who play their part
but please FOCUS ON MANEET ! GURTI SCREEN TIME SHD BE MAX !

Wish List

1. Immediate rain dance for maneet
2. MAHA EPISODE can be a ultra romantic one becos last maha episode sadly was a DUD
3. GEET behaving mature, but contiues to be her playful self to maan, afterall she is Mrs MSK
4. Normal bedroom scenes - cuddles , hugs and cute somethings whispered at night ! I have to
keep reminding myself that they are married
5. MSK pampering geet as in taking her for long drive, talking abt their future
7. A PROPER SUHAAG RAAT IN DELHI WITH THAT SADOO BLUE BEDSHEET CHANGED ! U GUYS GAVE IT TO TEJI, DONT U TAKE THAT BACK
8. Geet pampering MAAN , fussing over him and he enjoying it

Hpefully most of the suggestions and wish list is heard and we will get to see a REVAMPED, REJUVENATED AND A GHSP
with the FOCUS on MANEET /GURTI

LOVED:

1, ADI MAAN GEET scene..Adi was hilarious.. Geet too cute and maan was haiii..he recognised Pasta in a bite..tht was tooo cute..😳

though his taunt...was just to make her J..but lved it..he knew its her and he knew she will never be satisfied though i am wondering wht will happned once they have reconciled..I bet Maan will have to be on the couch for few days for TEZ NAMAK..😉

2. Geet: ahhh she was The LADY i fell in love with..she was cute bubbly acting instinctively not thinkng twice..Tht was GEET and the most beautiful thing SHE WAS A WIFE..yes a wife who needed only her husbands attention in any way possible..She mde it claer she didnt need food only but HIM too survive..JUST LOVED it..

3. BEEJI LUCKY: loved the scene it was total emotional..😭 but like seriously i am hating BEEJI now..😡 for her all that matters is her false pride and not her children's happiness. She doenst care abt Geet nor abt luckys repentance.. Loved ahwaan..he convinced me as a comic actor and today at the emotional scene his expresions were to the DOT..👏

4. DEV NANDINI:🥱 The actor is good at neagtive make use of that..

5.Nadni DAMAN: I am also😕...if somene gets it..pls clear it..

6.Jugnu mama: He is being repetative now..Pls give him something to do..

epi rating: 9.5/10.. i wouldnt mind 10...the epi was filler but entertaining..and i loved The WIFEY GEET..so this is just for her and MAANS EXPRESSIONS..

Ab full th only when no DEV NANDINI BEEJI ETC IN EPI..SO even if no dance and only ruthna manana tom pkaka 10 even if the song seq has no dance who wants that..😉

You see da prem of adi, inspite of his undying love for Maan he still supports Maan Babaji aisa Premi maine Kahin Nahi DekhaHe even sings hiding all his dukh dard to show that he is happy bcoz his maan is happy😳Yeh Adi Bachi ko rula degaa...😭

And Maan knws sumfin is wrong so he asks him khaana kha loon ya gaana sunoo he wants to knw da dard behind his sangeet

Today before Episode Analysis would like to say few things to the CVs/PH/Channel with a hope that these issues will b fixed up in the show soon now that we can see CVs r taking our feedbacks seriously😳

We watch the show for Maaneet but end up seeing almost every character's rasleela from Lucky to Dev and our Maaneet r left high and dry and even their bacha-kucha scenes too r edited out,...Dunno who is at fault here...PH or channel for editing out Maaneet scenes and for this comedy circus😕...all I can say is there is still time for the CVs to fix it...viewers r still watching the show for their loyalty towards Maaneet...so plsss fix it asap...

We r very happy with last friday's episode and also this hot scorching song sequence on Maaneet after a long time but we r hoping for some consistency in Maaneet track and romance on a regular basis now😳😳

Things CVs need to do right now to fix up the ongoing mess

1)Bring the old Geet back who was not childish...who never used to hit and slap her MSK at the drop of a hat...But who used to stand up for her MSK and his love ...😊...Also Bring that old MSK back who never used to take permission of Geet to come close to her but used to show his full authority over Geet with dialogues like "Pehen lo warna pehna doonga"😈...We hv seen in last few episodes that old Geet is slowly coming back and even MSK is back with his attitude but this should b consistent😊

2)Bring the passion in Maaneet back...they r a young newly married couple and not dada-dadi for gods sake...are the makers trying to say post-marriage all romance and passion vanishes this way and all that the wife does is hit and slap her hubby and even the hubby needs permission of his wife to come close to her or hug or kiss her ??😕...CVs plss watch few old episodes of Pee loo or kehna hee kya or wheres the party tonight or Roop tera mastana or even the recent Karwa chauth undressing moments...Thats our Maaneet and we want that passion back😊..Hving said that would like to thank u for last friday's episode and also this hot song sequence on Maaneet😳...Hoping to see this on regular basis with proper track and screentime given to Maaneet😳

3)Side characters like Lucky-Preeto or Jugnu or Teji...Biji...Pammi...Devini should remain side-characters only instead of becoming leads😊 ;But right now it seems they all hv become the leads while our Maaneet r reduced to side-kicks where their scenes r edited out left-right-center...Plss rectify this...Maaneet r leads.,..give them more scenes ...Can we not get a tent-date style episode where both Maan and Geet can sit and talk in a matured way ??...Is it so difficult to hv one such episode😕...

4)Again I m repeating for the Nth time an episode should hv a proper balance of drama ,comedy and romance...overdose of any one of these will kill it...In majority of the episodes all we r seeing is Jugnu mama's repitative comedy circus and Lucky's ILU fiasco which is not looking funny anymore🥱...Maan-Geet r reduced to extras now who r standing in side and watching Lucky-Preeto romance or guiding them about life😕...It should hv been the other way around with Geet trying to seduce MSK and others watching it...then viewers would hv loved it😃...and see the result today..one such number of Geet seducing MSK comes and all r going bonkers because this is what we want😳...but we want it on regular basis and not just once in a week because Maaneet romance is the USP of this show😊

5)Editing department plsss hv mercy on us😭...Maaneet r the asset of this show...Even if scenes r repitative,Viewers still love watching it ...so why edit out the scenes ??😕...Neck-Nuzzling which was shown in "I dunno what to do" precap was edited out ;Few spoiler pics of trip and fall were edited out ...Why ??😕...Are they more vulger than the Lucky-Preeto "I dunno what to do" rasleela kya ??😕..So why this emotional atyaachar on the viewers by editing out Maaneet scenes ??...Plss edit out Jugnu scenes if u'll want but Maaneet pe rehem karo😭...For gods sake don't edit out this breathtaking "Woh hai zara khafa khafa" number now because whatever we saw on SBS was scorching hot and we want it fully unedited

6)Since Devini romantic track is on cards...plsss hv mercy on us and try to finish that nonsense asap without further stretching it and make sure Maaneet r noway involved in Devini track😊

Mistakes which GHSP CVs/PH/Channel made because of which trps went down...

1)Dragging Arjun-Annie track too far despite the rejection they got from viewers

2)Dragging the pregnency track to absurd limits(MC should hv come in IP track only)

3)Turning Dev into a saint when majority were expecting a justice track or at least Dev as negative and Maaneet fighting against Dev but instead we get to see Dev ka rasleela with different woman😕..As per Gul khan in her latest interview,she said they turned Dev positive because negativity was not worknig for the show🤔 ;My question to the PH is by turning Dev positive and letting him go all scot-free after such a big sin that he has committed and now he is being shown falling for the victim's sister without even bothering to tell the family about his past deeds ,is this what u call positivity where truth and justice has zero importance ??😕...Well I guess this is worst than any negativity...no wonder the trps affected because noone could digest this saint Dev and then Maaneet all normal with him

4)High points of the show were not dealt properly like the whole Dev revelation track was finished in just one episode...IP track which had so much potential was scrapped abruptly without a proper climax ...Maaneet dream wedding was good but somewhat got spoilt with whole Arjun-Annie CON nonsense..and now current Amritsar track might hv same result if they don't scrap the Devini nonsense and rectify Geet ka character...Even Maaneet CON moment and whole build up was disappointing

5)Geet's character has many times gone to the dumps to elevate MSK's character but show is about Maaneet and not Maan or Geet..😊

Things which can b done to get the trps high..

1)Scrap Devini track right now and make Dev negative because the show needs strong villian to spice up the Maaneet track

2)Instead of introducing new tracks,try to get one of the old tracks back like mayb MSK's past Sameera to spice up the Maaneet storyline..even a cliched track like MSK's memory loss will do now where at least we can get our old Maaneet back😳...in short a track should revolve around Maaneet both😃

3)Cash on Gurti ka chemistry by showing some good hot dance numbers like kurban hua or tip tip barsa on a more regular basis😳

4)Maan-Geet matured husband-wife conversation is needed ...Post-Marriage bickerings look silly now..

5)A balance should b maintained in every episode between drama,comedy and romance...overdose of any one of these might result in low trps

This year I have met awesome new friends and have come across so many new and interesting perspectives.
I have also been introduced to all of you through GHSP'and become a lover of the show..like all here..hehe
Cheers to GHSP team. They have given us so many awesome episodes and raised a lot of issues.
Let's talk about the protagonist of the show and try to figure her out ;)
The show is about her..this is her story,isn't it?
Let's talk about her today- her trials and her triumphs both big and small;
what we love about her and what annoys us;
her lovely eyes full of life and her voice as soft as a breeze,
coupled with a will of iron,
she's none other than GEET

Before I write something- I'd like to ask everyone to give one fave dialogue and scene of Geet at least- the character :D as well as what they'd like to see in the new year!
She has a beautiful name- Geet 'Song
She is a bubbly and cheerful girl who faces life head on. Her name actually gives the key to her character traits-well,at least some of them.
I feel that Song is one of the most flexible entities in this world- it is beautiful, has the capacity to give both pleasure as well as pain, it allows us to feel a myriad emotions in continuation. Moreover, in perfect harmony it introduces us to differences that make us appreciate a point of view, even if we don't endorse it.
Doesn't that beautifully resonate with Geet- her character as well as her life? This woman has made us connect with her in ways big and small, and yet she's different like each song is a different.
Why?
Is it because she transgressed against society? Or is it because she refused to be bound against her will?

She defines her own essence and refuses to be defined by anyone else.
A girl is supposed to be like this, that and the other, she has been told by the society, her family, Maan as well. But she rebels against those definitions. However she isn't only a rebel. Her story is different in its similarity- because she simply keeps growing'and hence never fits into a stereotyped position- either a daughter, a mother, a secretary, a fianc and a wife as well. She is a WOMAN and she defines the essence of womanhood.
She risked her life to seek justice..for herself and for the child growing within her.
She sought to save her child by risking her own life'that is the amount of will that she has. She affirmed life in a very unique way- because she risked her own to show us the importance of the life within her.
She is therefore as much a part of nature as she defines it. Creativity,fertility, love and Life is what Geet is all about. The comparison between the woman and Nature is as old as..well..I guess Creation- because BOTH create ?
Both destroy and create, sometimes both at the same time, but the end message is one of Life and not of Death In Fact..like Geet , Nature also affirms Life through death. Don't we appreciate life more then?
We say Death, sadness, gloom and destruction is a part of- NATURE. All encompassing and eternal- that is what Geet stands for.
She always bounces back stronger after her experiences'back to her bubbly self after many episodes which we see as character inconsistency sometimes whereas it is simply who she is. She refuses to be taken over by sadness for a long time. And yet, she never escapes into jhoothi happiness..Her eyes- that MSk thinks are as clear as a mirror- they never are able to lie.

We always say- Life is what it is. So is Geet.
She met Maan as she was about to drown. He lifted her up and saved her..and continued to do so.
Not merely while she was in danger- but also helped her stand her ground.
His bitter words were lessons that helped her to move on resolutely in life for love.
She stumbles and falls'she's clumsy literally and otherwise..but she finds her way. She struggles, she bears pain and makes it beautiful for us to watch..and yet unbearable.
These episodes came to my mind-

1. Geet being almost chopped by Brij
2. Geet standing up against her family, injured with a talwar stained with her own blood
3. Geet when she realized in JA seq that she feels for Maan
4. Geet post Kurbaan Hua
5. Geet in HP when she remembers her family
6. Geet in confession
7. Geet whenever Maan takes her to the hospi
8. Geet when she stood up for herself when Maan was ill
Keep adding'

She refuses to be defined by anyone else..A fluid identity and yet she herself defines her essence. Yes, her character seems extremely inconsistent at times- but it always is one making an affirming gesture- She doesn't fit any mould but seeks to fly in the open air- arms wide open to Life and its magic.
Rain and flowers make her happy. She collects small moments and feels each one so intensely that they transcend time. She is sad, angry, happy- all equally intensely and therefore has a lot to teach to everyone.
"zindagi ki chhoti chhoti khushiyaan"

She told Maan, "aap meri Zindagi ho"
She is now creating a new life through him, with him.

She tells Maan that being hurt and betrayed doesn't mean she has given up on Humanity. Just because Arjun is NT's bro doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a chance.

Through her experience with Maan- who won her trust and was with her at every point..there to catch her if she fell, but mostly letting her live by her own, she learnt to have faith in humanity. Being hurt and betrayed doesn't mean giving up in life. "zindagi mein hamesha aage badhna chahiye"

When Maan and Geet had that temporary separation- she still took those flowers at the signal- a sign that she will move on in life come what may.

She defines Womanhood in her own unique way and yet one which is familiar to all women. She is the essence of womanhood because she links herself to Life and not society. She is a soul who is involved deeply with Life and Love..rather than society and structures.
She is familiar because she's a part of Common Nature, and she's different because she is Herself and none other.

Now- for something more

Some things for 2011.

1.Geet hasn't gotten justice yet.

I hope that IS in the CV's minds still.

2. Geet's EDUCATION.

3. Geet being Maan's strength, not his weakness.

4. Geet's growth...a relationship of mutuality with maan shown in a greater degree with her involvement more with business projects as well as Maan's family.

5. Geet- Maan going for another honey-moon;

6. would love to see Nok jhoks-but not unreasonable ones

Nothing more coming to mind yet- But as for a conclusion- all I'd like to say is that Geet has to be shown as growing and learning from her experiences😊

Drashti has been doing a great job- I loved her TT interview but didn't understand one thing-

She said she's opposite to Geet because she is full of life...but then..so is Geet,isn't she?😉

anyway- it was just an observation- I may be wrong

but this was my interpretation of Geet

She is not breaking boundaries of society simply because they are patriarchal.

Her struggle is one of the Liberty of LIFE against Limitation.

Episode Analysis😎

It was a complete laugh riot episode where Geet was at her nautanki best😆😳;

Now this is the kind of Geet we all like where she might come out as nautanki queen or mayb a bit silly but her innocence is what we love about her and that we saw today😳😳;I don't mind if Geet does a bit of nautanki act to manaofy her hubby😳 but sometimes when such things go over the top and starts looking repitative ,thats when I think we all start cribbing😆😳..So here its necessary to maintain a proper balance in her character which I thought was maintained today because tomorrow Geet will b all set to seduce her hubby in style😎

Starting Pasta scene was awesome😳..loved how MSK instantly realised that its made by Geet😳 and as usual Adi rocked today👏..poor fellow ...he is stuck up between his boss and boss ka wife🤣🤣🤣..

Also liked how CVs via Geet was taunting at us viewers by dedicating the full episode on Geet cribbing about her tent style clothes and indirectly complaining to MSK about how she is planning to become a sanyasini now thanks to her lack of good clothes🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣...Lets hope MSK does not do anymore kanjoosi and make sure he buys whole lot of good clothes for our abla naari nautanki queen Geet🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😳..But I liked this whole scene because CVs hv indirectly given us a hint that once Geet goes back to Delhi with MSK,we will see her in new set of clothes😳😳...Hope CVs remember this now...Haan😡😆

And now I want symbolisms from my symbolism queens out here in that scene where MSK is eating that banana and giving that fruti basket to Geet😈😉😆...Geet wanted MSK to himself come and give her the new dresses and thats when MSK deliberately starts eating the banana in style😎...He indirectly wanted to say something to Geet😈..So question is what does that banana stand for and what MSK is trying to tell Geet here ??😛...MSK then gives the fruit basket hving apple and banana to Geet...Why ??..What does apple and banana stand for here ??😛...I m asking this because we saw same apple making an appearance even in the song where MSK feeds her the apple lovingly😉😳 and instead of banana we see Geet feeding him milk😈😛...in short all these ingriedents r somewhere related to extra energy and ehem ehem...do I need to say more here☺️☺️☺️😆...CVs r quite smart in this department and hv used the exact props to show the whole build up of the seduction act...So well done👍🏼

Coming to Devini track,I m trying my best to ignore it all and still praying that Daman does not turn out to b a fraud😕;It makes no sense to turn a sinner Dev into a saint and then a good boy like Daman into a fraud😕...

Jugnu Mama's one dialogue about MA PH.D "Matric passed with high difficulty" was hilarious🤣🤣🤣🤣...But CVs like I said the show is about Maaneet and not Jugnu mama's comedy circus...so plss keep it limited and don't overdo it😊

Lucky and Biji scene was touching and good👍🏼...but I fail to understand why Biji is not even ready to bless his son here when he wants to do something good and hv realised his responsibilities finally ?😕...

About the hot hot precap all I can say is

A lot has happened with Geet's character in the last 6 months. Since her marriage to Maan her character has been through a metamorphosis, a lot of which can be attributed to the change in her status of a young girl fighting for her survival in a foreign city to a married woman, secure and content basking in the immense love her husband showers on her and therefore carefree. The child inside her that was suppressed came to the fore and she started behaving in a manner which we were not used to seeing. We were used to a mature, sensible Geet who always thought things through. Although impulsive by nature, when it came to important decisions this Geet always took the practical route. But after marriage Geet did not need to be practical or always sensible and rightly so. So from marriage till the miscarriage we saw a different side to Geet which although not familiar to us, we could still connect with her. We could still understand why she behaved the way she did. We could still empathize with her thoughts. But after the miscarriage and since this Amritsar track has started Geet's character has taken a complete 180 degree turn. Most viewers are completely at a loss to understand her behavior or her actions. Lack of her self thoughts during crucial times has added to this confusion. Time and again many viewers have conveyed to the CV's about this but in vain. Its high time the CV's give this a serious thought since Geet is the central character in this show, the person on whom the story was based.

A few things that the CV's should look into is

Geet's behavior with Maan

I know we have been repeatedly told that Maan likes Geet to be carefree & happy. But there's a thin line in being cute & sweet and being a brat. Geet of late has been behaving like a petulant 4 year old. Maneet bickering may have been the USP at one point but too much of something gets irksome. Also the way Geet keeps hitting and smacking Maan is highly annoying.

Geet as a wife

Geet has an identity of her own and rightly so. No way should she behave subservient to Maan but as a wife she does have some responsibilities towards her husband. She keeps talking about her responsibilities as a daughter of the house but why should those take precedence over her duties of a wife. Can she not balance the two? Since this Amritsar track has started not once has she been shown doing something for Maan. It could have been something as simple as making food for him but that would have brought in some romance into their interaction.

Geet's interaction with Dev

The CVs need to seriously look into this. They have clearly forgotten the past but we viewers cannot forget what role Dev played in Geet's past. They cannot have a normal devar-bhabhi relationship. Geet may have forgiven her culprit but forgiveness does not equate to forgetting and behaving as if nothing transpired between the two. Dev is her culprit, her tormentor and although now she's moved past that phase in her life can she really share a normal equation with him? Shouldn't there be some kind of hesitancy and wariness in their interaction? And the most important of all...how on earth can she accept or allow her own sister to have a relationship with Dev? Since she has come to know about Dev's feelings for Nandini not even once has she thought of the repercussions of such an alliance let alone be repulsed by it. Instead she was shown concerned for Dev's heartbreak!!! As entertainers you may not want to go into these social issues but the least you can do is treat this a little sensitively. Please do not gloss over it in the name of cinematic liberties.

Geet's costumes

We have been crying out loud to give Geet a makeover. She's the lead of the show and its shameful the kind of clothes you are making her wear. Even the side characters are better styled than her.

Maan & Geet's character balance

To a large extent Maan's character consistency has been maintained...👍🏼 But this has happened at the cost of Geet's character... To make his character look superior, Geet has been made to look immature & insensitive. Please maintain the balance between these two characters since both are equally important in the story.

The current track is soon coming to an end so these are a few thoughts on what you can show in the upcoming track.

This show is about Maan & Geet and they are the only ones who can get you TRP's. So please focus on these two characters. The rest of the characters can contribute to their story but the emphasis should be on Maneet. So please no Dev-Nandini love saga or some other character's random story.

1) Once back in Delhi you can show Geet joining the office or wanting to pursue her education. You can bring in a new male character and show a jealousy track for MSK...😛

2) You can show something about Maan's past. There has to be a reason why he hated women in the initial days. Maybe his mother or another woman (Sameera) had betrayed him which led to his complete disdain for women till he met & fell in love with Geet. Here Geet can be shown to support him emotionally and standing firmly with him while he deals with his past demons. If Sameera makes an appearance she can be shown to be a business rival coming back with an agenda to get MSK back. Geet can be shown helping Maan in saving their business and maturely handling the other woman in Maan's life...😃

In this video its evident that something big had happened in Maan's past to make him so bitter. It would be a great idea to explore this track.

3) Make Dev negative. A hero needs a strong anti-hero to challenge him. Only then can he show his heroism... 😆 They can be shown fighting over property. Dev after having been rejected by Nandini..😛...can be shown to realize that being a saint is not going to get him anywhere so decides to fight for his so called rights...😛 You can bring back Naintara & together both can challenge Maan & Geet.

See this scene. Its obvious that Dev bore some resentment towards his brother. This can once again come to the fore.

4) A memory loss track. A sure shot way to get the TRP's soaring...😆😆 Maan can be shown getting amnesia and going back to his Dusht Daanav avtaar...😍 How Geet makes him remember the love they share can make an interesting track. Alternatively Geet can have amnesia and MSK can be shown wooing her back. This will bring back the passion & charm back into their equation

Whatever tracks you choose please give equal footage to both Geet & Maan. Bring back the passion into their equation. GC & DD share awesome on-screen chemistry and it needs to be capitalized on. Also a little bit of nok jhoks is fine but don't overdo it. Maneet are a married couple...please make them behave like one and not like kindergarten kids... 😆

Geet is one of the bold , rare female protagonist ever seen on Indian small screen. Her character sketch is unlike any other leads seen in today's soaps. She has been a beacon of positivity and an inspiration to many from the moment she appeared in GHSP. It has been a pleasure to watch her metamorphose from a timid girl to a go getter with an iron-will. She is bubbly, optimistic, stubborn, and always lives her life with the utmost passion. She is never bogged down by the adversities life throws down at her. In my opinion she embodies the essence of womanhood. Her capacity to forgive and forget her abuser just for the sake of her love shows her magnanimity, which reflects her maturity belying her age.

Having said that, why in the recent times has her character been so inconsistent? She keeps fluctuating between bouts of childishness, OTT tantrums and sudden spurts of wisdom. This has made the viewers disconnect with her character.😡

1. Maneet is the USP of GHSP. Viewers watch mainly to see then together on screen. Recently the focus has been more on peripheral characters than the leads. Their screen time has drastically reduced to couple of minutes on screen. Bring Maneet passion back..They are only passionate couple who changed to compassionate couple after marriage.😕

2. Focus on a gripping, dramatic track on the central characters Maan and Geet. Right now all they do is play cupid for couples around them.😭

3. You have two very gifted actors who scorch the screen with their chemistry. They are brilliant in comedy, dramatic, emotional and passionate scenes. Please give them some challenging track exclusively centered on them to sink their teeth into.👍🏼

4. GHSP was touted to be an intense, passionate story…of late it has been more a sit-com or rom-com. Please have a moderation when a track clicks with audience…like Jugnu mama scenes…They became too repetitive in a week.🥱

5. Dhrasti Dhami is a beautiful actress, capable of pulling off any ensemble with elan. Please give her better clothes. Compared to other soaps leads, why is she given very substandard, garish clothes? She does not look like a millionaire's wife.

6. Coming to Dev….We cannot accept Dev-Nandini romance … because he is not yet redeemed in the audience mind. Just because we accepted Geet's decision to forgive Dev does not mean we accept Maneet play cupid for Devini. It is absolutely disgusting track.

GHSP tracks we would like to see:

a. Would it be possible to keep the Amritsar crowd around for a parallel track even after Maaneet go back to Delhi. This could be the parallel track you are looking for. Dev stays in Amritsar as a ghar jamai and so the rest of the cast is still there. Maybe they can put him on probation because of his past and can torture him. You can show Amritsar family testing Dev to make sure that he is fit for Nandini …Fans wiill love this. Meantime you can show Maaneet back in Delhi and their track can continue there.

b. Please show us more of Teji & Pammi's relations. Why is he rude to his wife and the reason why he doesn't love her? A back story would be appreciated. We love their acting and would prefer to see more of them as a parallel track.

c. Where are MSK's parents? Who was maan exactly searching in HP? Please tell how MSK landed in HP and why he was interested in that piece of land which he bought? Why did he hate women?
Why Geet has never enquired MSK about her inlaws ?

d. Geet needs to go back to college ,complete her education and become independent Sending her to college will be a good social message too. Some guy falling for her in college or her friends include a few boys….resulting in Jealous passionate Maan…Some scenes showing Geet trying to studyfor exams ..Maan brings her food/ coffee, helps her with difficult subject. …Some nok-jhoks, seduction attempts ….So many possibilities.

e. Geet joining office and a business rival falls for her. MSK angry n jealous. Similar to Rahul at Mr.Chopra's party. Let the Rival stay and drive Maan nuts for a few weeks.

f. Can't Geet wear capris or skinny jeans to impress MSK for a couple of episodes...May be his college friend (girl) visits him...Geet competes for attention. A closure to Red dress scene loop.

g. GHSP sorely lacks a strong Antagonist. The stature of a hero is elevated only when you have a strong villian who is a force to reckon with leading to high voltage drama. Even Naintara with her cunning brain and screen presence stole the show, she was such a worthy opponent. Bring NT back. We love her.Her ability to torture Dev drives us fans crazy.

h. Dev, an awesome negative character, was spoilt by the silliest idea of converting him into a saint. Now we lack a negative force in the show .The possiblilty of a calculative Arjun who sinks to the depth of immorality, stuck between his love for his manipulative sister and Annie also was killed too soon. The elusive Sameera needs to make her appearance ASAP to add spice to the show.

i. Could we please have Sameera as a business rival, an Aitraaz movie type track…Geet saves her hubby or they can fight her together.

j. For a change if u run out of ideas….Maan ka amnesia track is a sure bet...getting back the passion, the angst between Maaneet n also old MSK back, who cannot figure out his lust and attraction towards Geet, who is back to being his secretary.

k. Daman is killed/disappears before his wedding to Nandini. Dev marries her. After marriage Geet comes to know Dev was the person who killed Daman…This can be a shocking twist and a sure fire TRP garner . Geet tries to prove the Satan behind the saintly avatar …MSK, Nandini all do not believe her initially…Geet fights against the odds to bring the perpetrator to justice.MSK and Geet join forces to defeat Dev..

Geet's character : The Geet that was shown to us at the beginning of the show was a girl who was strong when she went through tht trauma, who went against her own family , sent her own brother to jail only to PUNISH the guy who had cheated her, who had duped her.What happened to that GEET? Why did she forgive Dev so easily? And the reason she gave was to move on right? That means, he shouln't matter to her.But we see a GEET who is happily talking to her cheater, and now we see her playing cupid for Dev's romance🤢.Cv's, please look into this aspect, We dont want MANEET to play cupid.👎🏼

The other side of Geet these days, all the bickering she does, not being serious, and hitting MSK gets onto my nerves😳.She acts like she's allergic to romance.Plz, Geet wasn like this earlier.We are more used to the mature Geet we have seen in Delhi.😊

Screen Space : Well, I really have problem with it. Why cant we have more of maneet, now that the show is back to 5 days.😕 Why so many parallel tracks? Maneet are sidelined many a times.Sometimes, we dont get to see them together itself in the epi.Cvs, Maneet are the USP of the show.👍🏼

Im being very open about this. Why cant we have a KISS in the show?😕 Im not buying any explanation , because its just a simple CHEEK kiss which we haven got as of now and it happens in Indian Tv.So no big deal about it.😕 Gurti have done really bold scenes, so i dont think Kiss should be a problem.😊

About the track, really loved the Amritsar track, lovely characters-pammi,lucky😳.But Plz no Dev-nandini track🤢.I have nothing to do with nandini.But the fact is Dev is the one who cheated geet, and noone can forget this.Its highly painfull to see dev getting another girl.Any loyal viewer of this show was hooked more or less to see how geet gets justice, how MSK supports geet in getting justice.But we never saw that.Can we atleast expect no dev-nandini?

I hope we get a better and our GHSP flavour when the show heads to Delhi...😊

1. First and foremost is DEV n his sins for which he has not been punished, he was forgiven without a true resentment'and the reason given by geet to forgive him seemed so sensless. She fought with the whole world and even with Maan in the media fiasco times...DEV shud be A NEGATIVE CHARACTER that's it! The guy raped her in the name of fake marriage and robbed her and left her abandoned on the airport, how can she forget this, how can she even stand that guy close to her?? The crime he did is something that we viewers cant forgive then how can the girl who suffered herself forgive him???DEV ISNT A SAINT.

2. Dev 's lovestory shud b shut before start coz it will bring another downfall to the show. He is married still'..and his love scene with GEET'S sister is the biggest bakwaas that will b shown.

3. The build up of the Amritsar track was itself wrong,MAAN was made guilty without a solid reason. That seemed really heart thrashing as geet herself was wrong and maan was shown to b wrong all thru.

4. The loop holes in the show, namely characters mentioned in the beginning like VICKY(Maan's brother), Sameera (Maan's past),unfinished charcters like MEERA, YASH,KAMYA,the lady who played DEV's mother?? All these have to b shown to take the show to another level

5. GEET shud be given justice by putting DEV into jail.

6. The genre of the show as mentioned on the official GEET page is ROMANCE/DRAMA'it shud not b forgotten '..the show has turned into a comedy circus.

7. As the show is again 5 days a week major portion of the episodes shud contain MAANEET not the other parallel tracks in which nobody is interested.

8. The passion which is missing shud return. GEET is a passionate love saga'.its shud never b forgotten

9. Geet shud behave like a mature wife now, NOK JHOKS are fyn but till a certain level.MAANEET themselves shud portray a mature relationship now.

10. GEET 's education is an important point as she said in the earlier episodes that she wanted to study. Maan encouraging her to pursue a course like ARCHITECTURE , she going to college and Maan helping her in the studies will get a nice track. After that she can join KC with Maan.

11. Extra characters have spoiled the show badly like this whole AMRITSAR FAMILY landed without a background, moreover ARJUN ANNIE..the biggest blunders again.

12. The occasions that had to b the best in the history of the show were spoiled badly like the HONEYMOON PART'it seemed so lifeless without even the required ROMANCE.

13. The most awaited CONSUMMATION NITE was given as a slap on the face of the viewers. Wen the show has given sequences like ROOP TERA MASTANA, PEELOON etc 'obviously the hopes had to b high for the SR. what was the necessity of showing it in a rush'left a bad mark on the fans.

14. Mature romance and passion between MAANEET'..shud b shown'.with perfectly carved scenes'.

15. GEET'S WARDROBE CHANGE is requied asap now,she is MAAN SINGH KHUARANA'S wife ,lives in DELHI'.she shud b wearing nice stuff like shiffon sarees,and some western outfits to match the persona.

16. BUSINESS PARTIES like before and some rivals scenes where MSK is all angry and a passionate dance happens.

17. RAIN SONG SEQUENCE in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai STYLE is something we crave for since ages now''it shud be veryyy passionate. And geet shud b in RED SHIFFON SARREE plain..and MAAN in black

18. Business trip together wud b gr888''.with some outdoor shoots.

19. Again the Main leads of the show are MAANEET not others so that shud never b forgotten and atleast 12 to 15 min of the episode shud contain MAANEET in a single frame plzz.

20. Most importantly a full fledged MAANEET/GURTI MAHA EPISODE as the first one was total disaster.A PROPER SUHAAG RAAT IN DELHI that can take place in FARM HOUSE or somehwhere with proper build up.

21. Change of the interior of MAANEET's room with walls adorned with Maan Geet's journey together till date.

22. A shower scene of MAANET...in the bathroom...which can b shown sensually without much exposure...like scens are shown in SOAP ADDS...IT WILL ADD A NEW FOUND PASSION...
