Arwenish, that is a good point. Yes, Geet was insulted then and Maan was insulted now. The difference is Maan stepped up for her but Geet did not speak up for him. Cant blame her too much though for unlike a stranger like Rasika whom Maan could blast without a thought, here it was Maasi and Geet did not want to disturb the delicate balance of their relationship. There Maan may have lost a business deal but his action made Geet realise her love for him and his growing feelings for her and she decided to move away from him although she could not. Here the stakes were high as it had to do with emotions and not money. Geet decides to stay and restore her man's honour in her own way.
