If "smoulder" means "to show suppressed anger, hate, jealousy, etc" [Courtesy Merriam Webster online] or "to have strong repressed or half repressed feelings, esp anger" [courtesy The Free Dictionary], then I'd have to demand a "None of the above" option. For, the Billionaire has come bearing a white standard and would not be emitting smouldering looks.

Now, if "smoulder" means "to burn without flame or to burn internally" [courtesy Oxford], I'd have to demand an "Others" option. For, the Billionaire gave the most smouldering look to his laptop. Didn't we see serenity burning in his eyes, with naught a flicker of a flame, whilst he was staring at his laptop?

It was still quite light out of doors, but inside with the curtains drawn and the smouldering fire sending out a dim, uncertain glow, the room was full of deep shadows... where all things are on fire...the eye is on fire; forms are on fire; eye consciousness is on fire; impressions received by the eye are on fire...

It's getting hot in here!
