Just a month into watching her first Hindi soap, thus says the Archivist,

I'm surprised that you dug up this piece about my sordid past. Yes, I made this comment in jest about an actor who was nick named frog in a show where he was a side character but was applauded for his charming looks when he became the lead of another show. I was curious to see whether he carried out his threat and was soon hooked to the show. She offered not much resistance, for the Bear was but a likable Brute,

Yes, I was truly bitten by the Maaneet bug although I kept telling myself I will never get addicted to another TV couple after what I went through with my earlier addiction. Her first topic on them was the role reversal of the Damsel and the Knight.

I did make some mixes on Maaneet but the passion was gone. My writing is also fairly rusted. I made an attempt in writing something fresh in Maaneet scenes but am struggling to find my flow again. The fic has been in the back burner for months now.
From the earliest days of Bugger's thread, she let some words flow from her pen,
And, then with increasing frequency, she started to share her views at the Den.
I used to find the Den imposing since it used to fill up in a matter of hours. I could not keep pace with the discussions there. Finally decided to just jump in whenever I felt the need to air my views, not really bothering to try reading all the pages before posting.
Oh, with the Deer, an even more special relation can she claim to share,
For, with a perfect blood match, him from the clutches of death she did snare.
Yeah, I did save his life. So am tied to Maan by blood. Whilst, at the drop of a hat, with literary ease, does she decipher every symbolism,
Yet, she wishes that the tale of the Doe and her Deer is garnished with some realism.
Sadly I cant dichotomise my thoughts and tend to wish that the story does add a dash of realism from time to time although it is unrealistic of me to even expect them to do so.
Well, the standard by which she judges tales is, for the characters, her empathy,
So, beware if the Optimist ever voices for the Doe or her Deer a new-found sympathy.
I've always been able to be attached to my favourite couples and yet be detached when I have to judge their behaviour. Dont know whether it is for the good or not.
Belying her id, she claims that, in truth, she is actually more of a pessimist,
Yet, most of us here can attest that, inside her, still lurks the Eternal Optimist.
I am a pessimist at heart although I clothe it often with some brash optimism. ---
