Well, itna slow episode tha. And filler ke bhi naam pe dhabba jaisa. But there were some good punch dialogues. Now I am beginning to build my new castle in the air around these dialogues. Here are some that I found interesting -
1. Dev - Maine toh aisa kuch bhi nahi kiya jo yeh itna badke
Did you need any more clarity to know that this was the second season of Geet. Although it was highly contextual and Dev meant it in reference to Nandini and did not know Geet was a part of this family when he uttered these words, it was still a very ironical one. In today's episode this was used as a fun element but it is dialogues such as these which make a normal audience like me seethe in anger. These kind of dialogues being back bad memories of Dev's past for me.
2. Dev - Yeh toh aise baat kar rahe hai jaise maine Nandini ko patha nahi kaise torture kiya hai
Another example of ironical dialogues. Nandini ke saath nahi toh kya hua, what about the other girls whose life's u have destroyed. Geet, Naintara? Kabhi na kabhi toh hisaab dena padega na apni karmon ka. I really hope he pays.
3. Lucky - Chup hi rehta hu. Aur waise bhi, mere iss ghar mein sunta kaun hai?
This gives me hope that at some stage in this track Lucky might move sides and join Maan and Geet. As it is, since no one believes him or listens to him he refrains from telling them everything. So, once he finds out the truth, he might be one to fight with Maan and Geet. I like this kid.
4. Lucky - Saade ghar mein bait ke tu hame hi galat bata raha hai
I loved this dialogue. Gives me hope that the entire family won't listen to anything Dev has to say and will blindly be against him. Although this track is intended to be total fun, makes me feel happy if anyone is being rude to Dev.
5. Biji - Meri Phool si bachchi jo hamesha khilkhilati rehti thi, muskurati rehti thi, teri wajhe se muskurana bhool gayi hai
If not in this specific context, Dev is the one because of whom Geet's life changed drastically. He made her aware of the harsh realities of the world and left her alone to battle them all. May not be relevant at this particular juncture, but he deserved this one.
6. Teji - Hamari behan ko jo taklif diya hai na aapne, uska hisaab hum le ke rahange
Well, Teji is my new favorite in the family. Do char haat chala hi de bete. U have no idea how many of us will support you. Meri taraf se bhi 4 laga de usko.
7. Biji - Aapas mein sulja le toh hi theek hai. Aakhir phaisla toh Geet ne hi karna hai na
I was glad to know that even Biji realizes that it may not be the most intelligent thing to interfere between a husband and wife. So eventually when they find out about the real Maan, they will support Geet's judgement and will accept him.
8. Geet - Aa ha ha ha, ab patha nahi tha meri maasi ka ghar hai, to tum yaha aaye kyon the
Made me feel happy that Geet still may not trust dev's intentions as much as we think she does. She did not believe him when he told her that he did not know this was her maasi's house. Even if in humor, she chided him.
9. Nandini - Kahi aap bhag ne ki koshish toh nahi kar rahe hai
Even if she does not know it at the moment, he has run away before. I am glad she sees him for who he is. Yeh ladki thuje marwake maanegi Dev baabu
10. Nandini - Jo insaan apni biwi ko dhoka de sakta hai, usko itna chot pohancha sakta hai, woh ek ladki ka kitaab kyon nahi chira sakta
Again, Nandini was just refering to a book, but Dev has stolen worse things. I wish one day they all get to know who he really is, and punish him for who he is, and not because they mistake him to be Maan. he needs to be punished for being Dev. And I hope he will be.
Other general pointers
1. Loved how Dev looked at Maan seeking his permission before doing anything.
2. The Sharabhi BG is the best I think. I almost like it as much as Mahi.
3. Dev and Maan looked good in today's episode. So did Lucky and Tej. And maamaji
4. Geet is back to acting comical. Although I like this Geet better than the crying one, I rather she act like this just with Maan and not with Dev.
