Is it so easy to forgive a man who rapes a woman, who broke her trust and was a reason for her possible death?

Even if she decides to forgive and move on, is it possible to have that person around and not feel uncomfortable and haunted with her horrible past?

Hi Drashtisfriend,

I miss the good ol' days of Geet. Their romance before marriage was much more passionate and bold. I like your article, it was a good read and you made some strong remarks and so has everybody else. I guess everyone feels different about the current track and what they like or what they like to see happen. After all, we are all entitled to our own opinion.

I do not feel comfortable with the fact that Geet forgave Dev and the way they correspond seems so frank. I need time to absorb that. Maybe the creators want to prove that Geet's love triumphs her hate for Dev OR -- and some might dislike what I have to say: Forgiving requires a big heart. [Geet] Someone who makes a mistakes, realizes, repents and tries to rectify requires an even bigger heart. [Dev] I do not think it has to do with Geet one day running into Dev's arm and falling in love. Also, I do not think there are any negative motives in Dev's mind in response to Geet's friendliness. Do I forgive Dev? No. However, Geet has forgiven Dev.

One thing I'd like to mention and I have so before is that the initial episodes brought light onto a sensitive yet strong issue that still occurs in today's time But, somewhere it got lost in romance. Not that I do not like the romance, it is pleasant. I must admit, I do not feel the same way about romance in Geet as I did when I initially started watching it. Lately, it has lost that "oomph" or "spark" you can say. However, it would be a shame to loose the main cause of this show; that innocent and brave girl who was fighting for her rights. . . a woman's rights. People like Dev and his accomplices cannot simply be ignored and pardoned. My love grows for Geet Hui Sabse Parayi each episode, and I have faith in the creators that they will maintain this extraordinary story and bring awareness to this plight that effects such innocent and unfortunate girls and their families out there. Nonetheless, time will say where the creators take this story to.

Forgive me, if I ventured off the primal means of your article. I just had to say this.
