I cannot analyse today's episode. Just busy with some stuff. But wanted to jot down some random thoughts.
Daarji's presence for just one episode
I think I figured out why daarji visited Amritsar just for a couple of episodes. When a girl is depressed after her wedding and needs a place to go to, the first and the only place she thinks of is her maiyka. But Geet is unfortunate to not have that opportunity. Even if she forgave everyone and they have a cordial relationship, for purposes of shooting etc they would not have been able to show HP or her household and characters from earlier. And hence a new storyline was essential.
However, when they introduced new characters and they started deciding things for Geet, the audience did not accept it and started questioning Geet's character. So, as a fix, daarji was introduced in 2 episodes with his emphasis on the fact that Geet should treat her maasi as her mother. Now, it is for us to understand that even if biji is Geet's maasi, she is like her mother and hence has the rights to take a decision for her daughter.
Ofcourse, this is just my theory, but I caould not think of any other reason for daarji's presence.
Pammi - Bhabhi ya maa
I don't know what the purpose of Pammi's character is, but she is doing everything that biji as Geet's mother should have done for her. She has the right advise, right thoughts, right feelings. In this track I feel like Pammi is being a true mother to Geet and not Biji. I simply love this girl. I wish there is nothing nice coming her way too.
The pre-cap
We recently read an article that Maan will go away from Geet and Geet will miss him a lot. I was wondering if there was a way we can connect the pre-cap with this article. We saw in the precap that Geet asks Maan to go away in 24 hours, else she would tell biji the entire truth about Ballu. And Maan challenged her back telling her that in the same 24 hours, she would come to him and tell him that she cannot live without him. I think the CV's have played this out very well.
At this stage and phase in their relationship, it won;t be intelligent of Maan to challenge Geet and play against her. Because she is already mad, and it is good to let her win. So, it worked as a win-win situation for Maan. So, he will do exactly as she wants. Just go away from her, because he knows now that she cannot live without him. The minute he agrees to her and goes away, Geet knows he did what she wanted, and that she won the challenge, but that she did not want to win this one. She wants him back because she loves him. And then, she goes to him, letting him win too.
So, Maan lets Geet win, and Geet does the same, lets Maan win. What better way to make up.
