Here is my not so awesome response to your oh so awesome story:
Divorce? Oh my god, poor Geet. I thought they were having a financial problem, that's what he wanted to talk about.
The way he talks about Geet, it doesn't make me feel like he thinks of her as a stranger or that he pities her. It feels likes he resents her for every awakening moment he spends with her. He almost feels disgusting. He so easily throws her in the dumpster, saying she lost his heart. That was harsh.
And about her conditions. God, she was so sincere. She could care less about money and more about her child. And the last condition, I completely hate Maan for calling her crazy. She isn't crazy. She wants relive what he has forgotten and what she had cherished.
You expressed the child's happiness very well. As they say, everything is not as good as it seems to be. Carrying her in his arms was just as superficial as his love for her.
I don't know if Geet planned this but wow, the whole carrying thing is really affecting him. And my god, you had to bring in Samira. Lolz, that just ruined it for me. i literally wat to strangle this Samira. Hopefully it's not Mouni Roy, I love her.
Omg, yay! I was so happy when he cancelled the divorce. And she's growing thin, god. Is she sick? Or is it literally the pain. Geet is so vulnerable here, it makes me cry. Priya, I rly hate how well you are portraying her character deteriorating like this.
Wait, I don't get it. Isn't Jane the divorce lady? What right does she have to slap him? And thank god, she is out of his life.
Omg, I knew it! I knew she had cancer! Not that it's a happy thing. But it all made sense, the way she wished to cherish one money of him and her and her lovely child. I don't think the saddest part is that she had cancer. I think the saddest part is that he never got to tell her I love you. I think the saddest part is that he never got to her carry her to her death bed because that was what he had promise her, he would carry her every morning until dead do them apart.
Priya, you make me grateful to know such a beautiful writer. The story was as wonderful as you but a total paradox of what I have known you as, a happy loving person.
