Yeah it does seem that way doesn't it. We kept screaming on top of our lungs about our displeasure of the AA track. Actually not even the AA track, just the fact that it was soooo disconnected from the Maaneet track, which was so painful! But they needed a parallel track to make up for the date issues with the leads so they didn't have a choice.

THE MAANEET CONVERSATION:

Maan kisses her hands softly, looks up at her, and speaks. "Aaj mein hamare saare gile shikwe door kar dena chahta hoon. Hamare beech ki yeh dooriyan mita dena chahta hoon. Meri aur tumhari is nayi zindgi ki, ek nayi shuruaat karna chahta hoon. Kya tum mera saath dogi?"

Geet, who was lost in his eyes till now snaps out and responds to him ' "Maan, aap jaante ho ki mein aisa nahi kar sakti. Aap ne jo shabd bole the wohh'"

"Kya bola tha meine Geet?" Maan interrupts her. "Tum ne to apne dil ki baat bata di mujhe Geet, aur maine tumhari baat maan bhi li. Mein gunehgaar hoon. Aur mujhe sazaa mil bhi rahi hai. Pal pal tadapne ki sazaa, tumhare itne paas hote hue bhi tumse door rehne ki sazaa, duniya ke saamne tumhe apni biwi na keh pane ki sazaa! Sazaa to mein bhugat raha hoon! Haan Geet!!! Sazaa mein us din se bhugat raha hoon, jis din humne apne bachche ko kho diya tha. Toota hua tha mein. Lekin is aas ne sambhale rakha ki bas, tumhare udaas chehre pe ek halki si muskurahat ki surkhi nazar aa jaaye. Koshish pe koshish karta gaya, par shayad wohh kafi nahi thi. Mein jo kuch bhi karta tha, us se tum naaraz ho jati thi. Tumne baat tak karna bandh kar diya tha mujh se. Apna dard baatna bandh kar diya tha mujh se. Is dard mein main aur toot raha tha. Man hi man jal raha tha. Apne dil ki baat, ki mein hamari zindgi ki nayee shuruaat karna chahta hoon, bata nahi paa raha tha tumko. Meri beqarari badh rahi thi. Mein tumhare kehne pe samajh chukka tha ki Dev ke hamari zindgi mein rehne se mujhe koi problem nahi honi chahiye, aur uska asar hamari zindgi pe nahi padna chahiye. Mujhe is baat se koi problem nahi thi. Lekin mujhe uske irado par hamesha se hi shak rehta tha. Tumhare babaji ki kasam Geet, mujhe khud tabhi laga tha ki shayad dev ko tumne, meri vajah se maaf kiya ho. Par tumne bhi to mujhe kuch bataya nahi. Itni badi baat tumne mujh se chupai? Kyon? Tumne uske gunaaho ke liye use maaf kiya, chalo koi baat nahi. Lekin wohh tumhare saath holi khel sakta hai, apne gande haatho se tumhe choone ki zurrat kar sakta hai, yeh mujhe manzoor nahi tha. Aur mein dar bhi raha tha, ki is maafi ki aad mein Dev tumhe koi aur chot naa pohacha de. Mujhe sirf aur sirf tumhara khayaal tha. Tumhari chinta thi. Mujhe laga mere kadve labzo ko sunkar shayad tum dev se door rahogi, lekin tum to mujhse hi door chali gayi. Kya karoon mein Geet? Kahaan jaun? Toot raha hoon mein. Doob raha hoon. Mujhe thaam lo. Varna pata nahi mein'" The precious tear pearls are now gushing from his aching eyes.

"Maan!" Geet who has been listening to him in shock till now stops him from saying anything worse. "Aap mujh se wohh maang rahe ho, jo ab mumkin nahi hai!" Her remorse now evident on her face. "Aap ne abhi jo kaha usse'" Maan gets up, turns around and walks away from her before she could finish her sentence.

Geet lets him leave. She stands there looking at him walking away, and continues thinking to herself. It is at this very epidemic moment where she realizes how unfair she has been to her man. May be she has failed in understanding him. May be she also didn't try hard enough to make things right. May be she misunderstood what he had blamed her for. May be what she thought was his dil ki baat, wasn't. May be he didn't articulate it the way he wanted to. She knows he has a habit of giving facts masks of senselessness just to hide his weaknesses. Was this another one of Maan Singh Khurana's underlying guise behind what he was really feeling all along? How did she forget that so often he says what he doesn't mean to say and doesn't say what he is dying to say? The man who has left his own life to follow her and to win her back, who immensely loves her, can kill and die to protect her, can he have misunderstood her? How did she make such a devastating mistake? Could she have left her own HOME for a misunderstanding? Was that the truth? If that was the truth, then she needs to be punished. She doesn't deserve this man ' who divinely loves her. There is no question of her forgiving him anymore. It seems he hasn't done anything wrong in the first place, other than getting angry. She feels ashamed, low, that she has shattered him by leaving him. She has punished him the ultimate penalty for the "GUNAAH" he hadn't committed. How is she to face him now? But she knows she has to talk to him. She has to stop his suffering. And then leave. She cannot go back to him because she might hurt him like this again in the future, she fears.

Maan is standing away from her, at the edge of the hill, staring at the faraway hills and the water of the lake. His eyes still moist.

"Maan!" A voice comes from behind. Maan turns around. Geet looks lovingly at him, putting her hand on his cheek to try to ease his pain, to comfort him. "Mein aap ko maaf karne ke laayak mahi hoon. Aap mujhe maaf kar dijiye. Mujhe aap ka dard samajhna chahiye tha. Aap se baat karni chahiye thi. Baby to aap ne bhi khoya hai. Hai na?" Her voice now cracking, but continuing. "Mujhe aap se kehna chahiye tha ki mein bhi aap ke saathe ek nayi zindgi ki shuruaat karna chahti hoon. Bata dena chahiye tha ki meine Dev ko maaf kiya, aur kyu kiya. Maine koshish ki thi, par mujhe aur koshish karni chahiye thi. Mujhe aap ko mauka dena chahiye tha, yeh batane ka ki aap Dev pe barosa nahi karte aur mujhe usse door rakhna chahte hai. Mujhe aap se puchna chahiye tha ki aap kyu naaraz hai. Meine Us insaan ke saath holi nahi kheli, Jisne meri zindgi barbaad ki thi. Meine Dadi ma ke pote, apne Devar ke saath holi kheli. Us insaan ke saath kheli jise mein maaf kar chuki thi. Agar mein aisa nahi karti, toh wohh maafi sahi maaine mein maafi nahi hoti, hai na? Shayad woh sahi nahi tha. Par us waqt mujhe wohi thik laga. Mujhe maaf kar dijiye Maan! Mein aap ka dil dukhana nahi chahti thi. Mein samajh chuki hoon ke aap ke jin shabdo ko mein apne swabhimaan par ek waar samjh rahi thi, woh sirf aap ka mere liye pyar bol raha tha. Maan - Aap ne mera saath tab diya tha jab puri duniya mere khilaaf thi. Aap ne mere liye apne bhai se saare rishte tode the. Aap hamesha mere liye aur sach ke liye lade hai. Meine aap ko is baar galat kaise samajh liya? I am sorry Maan!"

Tears flood down both their eyes. They lock each other in an unyielding embrace. A divine sense of peace, closure, and serenity in both their eyes. No one is letting go of the other, holding on to their dear life.

After a long fulfilling hug, they finally release the grasp to look at each other. Maan wipes her tears, and Geet wiping his. They both smile at each other in contentment and relief.

"Geet! ... ... ... Meri Geet!" He utters in pride like he has conquered the world. The look of happiness on his face is to die for.

Hearing him say her name so blissfully saddens Geet. She knows she has made a big mistake and she needs to repent. "Wapis chale Maan?" She responds in her misery.

Maan's happiness vanishes in an instant. "Kyon Geet? Abhi abhi to humne hamare saare gile shikwe door kiye hai! Abhi to dher saari baatein karni hai mujhe tumse. Tum waapis kyun jaana chahti ho Geet? Kya ab bhi tumhe mujhse, koi shikaayat hai?" He asks innocently but dejectedly.

"Nahi Maan, bilkul nahi!" She quickly answers. "Shikaayat to aap ko honi chahiye, mujh se. Maine aap ka dil dukhaya hai. Kaabil nahi hoon main aap ke pyare ke. Aap waapis le chaliye mujhe. Chod dijiye mujhe Biji ke wahaan, aur chale jaiye. Main aap ko dard ke sivaay aur kuch de hi nahi sakti. Har baar galat samajhti hoon, aap ko aur aap ke iraado ko. Aap ke jazbaato ko! Bhula dijiye aap mujhe. Mein aap ke pyar ke laayak hi nahi hoon." Geet spills out her heart's displeasure and turns around.

Maan smiles at her mischievously and thinks to himself. "Aa gayi apne purane andaaz mein waapis yeh paagal ladki." He goes in front of her and holds her face with both hands and speaks with a faint smile. "Meri Pagli Geet, meri bholi Geet. Tumhe pata bhi hai tum kya keh rahi ho? Maan se keh rahi ho ki wohh Geet ko bhul jaaye? Kitne arse ke baad mujhe tum mili ho, aur milte hi yeh khushi mujhse chin lena chahti ho? Pehle Geet ke bina Maan adhoora hua karta tha, par ab Geet ke bina, Maan ka koi wajood hi nahi ho sakta."

"Aisa mat kahiye maan, please samajhne ki koshish kijiye, mujhe aap se dur rehna hi hoga. Yehi meri sazaa hai." She starts to leave.

Maan knows that there is no use trying to explain anything to her anymore. He knows she is overpowered by her guilt so much that she has lost the ability to listen to his pleas. He knows her Geet, and he knows of only one way to stop her - Maan Singh Khurana ka Jaadu. He smirks wickedly.

The rest leads to my little brain's imagined suhaag raat of MaanEet 😳

exactly my point...ya but holidays of leads had to be compensated for i just wish they had chosen better actorsor a better track for them...

But dear, there is no point going back in the past to dissect what went wrong. We should just focus on minimizing the damage in the future tracks.

Absolutely...if we have to enjoy in the future we need to forgive and forget!!!!

Like I kept yapping all over the place yesterday - in fact the sole reason for making this post, was because I truly believe that CVs have realized they have made such a mess, and don't know how to fix it. They know that fans are so disappointed, that anything they do to justify her stubbornness will NOT go well the viewers. So they are taking the safe cut and not showing how she is feeling at all!

I wish they could show...i mean they could definitely come up with something...sometimes i wish while forgiving dev she had said that one line "ki agar main tumhe dhundhne delhi nahi aati toh mujhe maan nahi milte jo meri zindagi hai"...and people would have digested her forgiving dev pretty easily..if we can think of all these things then why cant they...abhi safe cut would really not be safe cut...it would be pretty harmful for the show...

It's hard to depend on Vinuji alone for getting our messages across, we just have to keep doing what we do on daily basis to keep our dear show on the top or at least attempt it 😛

ya...we do post on fb and forum etc...i just hope it is reaching to them...

Well you know for sure that as long as there are viewers, there will be complaints. There is NOTHING the CVs do that will be liked by ALL!!! But if they properly handle the Dev and Nandini track, I know I will stop complaining.

Dev and Nandini all i can say s i love both of them as actors but they will sure have to invest a lot of thinking in the track!!!
