@Usha: I learned this in my Anthro-class about how certain groups are stereoptyped on tv or movies. This was in the US so the groups are different. However, I could still relate it to the Indian culture. Sardars in the movie are stereotyped to be funny and stupid....I wish the creators show more layers to their characters and emphasize on the fact that not all sardars have the same personality. Every person has their own individuality😊

i have to kill maliha. everytime i log on to fb, she comes and laughs atleast ten posts at delhi daredevils losing every match.

Shreya C.... I am not fighting with u ....🤣

I am used to doing all the the work here in US.....I went home to India for vacation and found it very difficult to see the bai working in my SIL ' place...So i took upon myself some tasks which I do in my home and was helping out.....Finally my MIL took me in a coener and told me not to do it and spoil the Bai....Coz after I leave bai will be too lazy to do things ..😕.....and it was the bai's duty to do stuff for her pay.....

@ neha, you are right. But the sensitivity is increasing i think or atleast i hope so.

the best sardar santa/banta jokes are told by sardars but thye usually don't like it when other people tell it which is okay. I had good friends.

And i hated being called a madrasi in delhi and both my sis and me worked extremely hard to kill our accent and now when i talk hindi, nobody can say i am a south indian. it was a matter of prestige for us to top score in hindi.

i was watching teray mast mast do nain epiosde......... in that episode Geet placed a bet if Maan awnsers her question why he didnt he let tailor take her measurment......... He can Kiss........... and Maan answered her........?????

@usha country is divided in diff parts language wise

even i face such problems like being guj ppl think we are business man n we have no education n stuff plus all these creepy serials which shows Gujarat pathetically...😡
