An, I would think that some changes in the character are going to be necessary just to show character growth. Else how many times will MSK explode in anger and how many times can Geet run away? It will get a tad bit tiring and boring after the first couple of times. These Byronic heroes (I know its a tad bit of a stretch as MSK is not strictly a Byronic hero- since his character oscillates between two planes) are always tough to etch out and stay true to as a story progresses. Except for Rochester I cant think of too many who had happy endings.

yes you are right veena.waise us lalli ke liye woh lallo bahut sahi jadi banayi h.and yes woh apne aap ko ghar ki maharani hi samajhti h.i wish uska saamna hamare MSK ho jaaye to us maharani ki bolti bandh ho jaayegi.

Silver Poise: It's a cycle though this is the first time that Geet has run away. (Hope Geeky could have happened 😆😆😆). AYM is what defines the character of MSK and the moment the creatives make him a little mild, there is an uproar -- they butchering his character.

Plus if I am not wrong: A character goes through varied emotions and transforms accordingly to reach the end whether good or bad.
