Geet...and Maan....the Predator and the Prey.....the hunter and the hunted.....still cant forget Geet's innocent eyes and face...when she was trapped....she knew she was helpless...what was more scary was..Maan knew it...and he planned it!!
Why blame Geet for reacting to him in such a way...first n foremost...attraction is the first step of love...there cannot be any kind of love...true or otherwise.... if there is no pull, no magnetic attraction...and yes...it is one of most primal and strongest and basic fundamentals of love....accept it with an open mind......and it has always been there....steel strong between both of them...it was not felt wrong when she reacted to him even when she was his secretary n pregnant...so why is it wrong right now...coz now he is her man...her love...her hubby...and they have a right to each other...stamped by the society too...she still wears the mangalsutra and maang is stil red...inspite of her fury and pain and shattered dreams......
And then too it was Maan and today too it was him all the way...he calls the shots...he controls...he clearly and deliberately overpowered her with his masculinity...it was evident that he was taking advantage of the attraction she felt for the man she loved...Geet was trying to resist him and his charms....so isn't Maan wrong here...isn't his reaction now physical...i found it more physical than Geet's....and he knew exactly what he was doing....he planned it ....Maan the master puppeteer and Geet the helpless pupper...he pulled her strings...pushed her buttons...and fingers are being pointed at Geet...
If their reaction was physical...they are afterall man and wife...dying and waiting desperately to be with each other...but if so..clearly it was Maan ...the charmer...the seducer and Geet helpless..bewildered...unable to withstand his onslaught....like always.......!!
Shakespeare will forgive me for this....love or lust is in the eye of the beholder!! but for Maaneet it is pure love!!
