Aray i am not talkin about her parental home....i am talkin about her sasural.........
she has gotten a loving sasural.........whereas her bhabhi is treated like shit....in her sasural....
Yes, geet behaves just like she used to in her own home....but in this home she is not treated badly....her masi treats her nicely......but her masi is horrible towards someone else's daughter uska kya? Isn't pammi a daughter of someone else?? Masi and Teji are contradicting themselves....they say that they treat damad of the house like god, but when their daughter is treated badly, then they cannot take it....tu woh log kya karahe hai? They are treating someone else's daughter as crap......
not only that Geet was given the place of a daughter in her sasural....Dadi has never treated her as a bahu......whereas Pammi is shown her place.....every minute every second...they never made her feel as though this is her home...
HELL if this is the way women are treated when they have to leave their own parents to make another family therr own.....then i do not believe in that custom one bit😡
girls leave their maayka to make her husbands family their family....to go to another strange place and make their own home.....but where does the poor girl go when the people whom she wants to consider her own the home that she wants to make hers......doesn't accept her?
Which was why my heart goes out to pammi......we girls leave our PARENTS....and accept our husband's parents.....how does it feel when they do not take u as their daughter but a meer daughter IN LAW??
Here Geet is not the one in pain to me...i feel more pain for pammi.....this just proves my other statement....Geet has lost herself in her own pain soooo far that she doesn't see the pain of others around her....that is NOT good...
and Pammi i think is there just to remind Geet what she had.....and she walked away from. Maan said horrible words yes, but Geet should have yelled at him.......talked with him....not walk away from him.
I hope here geet is shown to stand up FOR her Bhabhi.....and teach her Bijji and Teji a lesson....
the only person that treats Pammi as her own is Lucky......he is the only one that has accepted his role as a devar fully to his bhabhi and talks with her with utmost respect.....and NOW Geet...
It is hard to digest that someone beautiful and extremely sweet like Pammi is treated this way....hmm harsh life no?
Hopefully maaneet's love conquers all, and shows Biji and Teji that this is love......care......and that they need to learn😊

I know u r not talkin abt parental home....If Geet was to put her foot down and express her views, we r gonna see a different Bijji and Tej. Besides even today to Bijji, Geet is her own khandan, her own blood, but Pammi is another extension😆, kinda like a grafted branch😆. Darlin u need to come to India to see the worst of this in villages and towns that are inset, and only root themselves on tradition and culture and not respect and progress within the changing world scenario.
And even in 'so called homes that have accomodated changing times, DIL is still "Grafted"....modern slaves and baby machines - Here the DIL has to completed be a door mat first and then rise to the ocassion according to the new home, and finally in their old age become another beeji😕. A vicious cycle continues....
And just imagine, how gracious and respectable was Maan's Daadima. Royal and expansive minded. Geet will learn the love of Maan's Khandan very soon. How they accepted her, every member of the family, after initial relationship blocks.😊
I like your statements that Geet is so self involved right now that she does not see others' pain. And that she will learn, after this of what she has had in her life in Maan's arms and Maans khandan.😊
As I pointed out too, we lost out on the 'justice track' but perhaps Geet will seek justice for Pammi in this Khandani home. Geet will fight for her bhabi.
In this home, every body seems to be identifying with the accumulated wealth and pride of honor and standing in society, than relationships which needs to be built.
Marriage was so festive and real, till it becomes a mere posession. THen the car, the house, the clothes, society becomes more important than immediate family relationships which need to be maintained and kept relatively happy.
I do believe, in Maans home, there was much more respect for women, much for voice for women, much more love to be shared.
Mishti Shivu, ghar jamai may be having his strings pulled by his mom, where ever she is😆, huh!
